Poor service at the bar.... food was mediocre at best.....
I rarely write 1 star reviews but it seemed warranted for my recent experience at Culinary Dropout at the Domain in Austin. I originally had a reservation but opted to sit at the bar vs. taking up an entire table for just me. That was a mistake. Perh

Always a good time for lunch, happy hour, and dinner! Service is attentive for me and the place is always lively.
I took a friend here on Sunday.
The live music was pretty loud- even on the patio. It was impossible to hear anything inside so I'm not sure how people were enjoying their meal if they chose the air conditioning! The kitchen was running behind- think 45 minute wait for our fo
We came here for drinks to celebrate a friend's birthday.
If the weather is nice, sit outside. I don't drink so I can't comment on the drinks. They looked fun though! Go for a cocktail why waste the calories on drinks that tastes bad? I've had the food (a pastrami sandwich) here once. It was
I love this place.
Everything from the communal tables to the eclectic menu. Always clean looking (there was a funky smell last time) and everyone is super friendly. I've had the homemade chips and dip (Devine! 9/10) and the shaved prime rib sandwich w fries. T

Everything here was AMAZING.
We came about noon on a Tuesday and had pretty fast service. We started with the juicy watermelon spritz and it absolutely saved me in the Texas heat. I had the crispy chicken katsu and it was absolutely amazing! There were a few games outside, defi
Hostesses were polite and friendly.
Our waiter was absolutely slammed, but still managed to answer questions, make recommendations, and make sure the order details were correct. He was friendly and checked up on us frequently. The food was perfect. The ribs fell off the one and slather
Mid at best.
Went Monday. Now I don't drink and the two guys from my team don't drink either. So maybe our company thought we were all a bunch of raging alcoholics, but nah... So maybe the drinks were better than the buffet style food for our party. T
the food was pretty good.

Hangover Cured!
Came here after a rough night and it only took a breakfast bowl to snap me out of it! Of course, the hot coffee and iced water didn't hurt! The breakfast bowl was delicious and hearty. Our server did a great job at a pleasant pace. We would come
Disappointed
The food was mediocre. We had the pretzels and fondue; the salmon entre and a Caesar salad. My cocktail was delicious however.

Rude Uninformed Host
We arrived at 12:30pm on Sunday, Oct 27th and asked for a table outside as we had our dog with us. They have two outside options, we wanted the area by the door (which I pointed to) and had 9 open tables. We were told it would be 45 min. When I asked
Outstanding food, but loud place
Some of the best food in Austin. Be warned: the plates are HUGE. I had the fried chicken, 3 big pieces and 2 sides, enough for 2. My wife got the rack of ribs, with 3 good racks and 2 sides too, also enough for 2. Both were excellent, but left us wit
Great place!
Had a great dinner with family here. We sad outside although it’s all covered and beautifully decorated. We did make reservations, although it was possible to do dinner without. We just wanted to make sure we had a table. The food was delicious! O

This is a fantastic happy hour and casual lunch spot, I would advise against dinner though. Service is pretty slow and the food is average. For one step up from Chili's you can expect to spend $50-70 person for 2 drinks and dinner.

Great place for brunch!! Definitely recommend over the dinner as the dinner can be kinda pricy. But for the domain not bad. Also service is always great and the food is super yummy and love the drinks here. The banana bread French toast is top notch!
Food was ok.
Very noisy. Longer than expected wait. Waited more 45 minutes past our reservation. The one man singer was a great touch and added ambiance to the meal.
I very much enjoyed eating and drinking at Culinary Dropout.
Both evenings I went the service was amazing, the food delicious, and it was generally a wonderful place to be. The live music was amazing and made it a very nice place to be.

I liked that the pretzel appetizer to start was mini pretzels so we didn't have to deal with deconstruction of a big one. Mocktail list was great and reasonably priced. I had the chicken Cobb salad and it was surprisingly delicious. I would defitnelt

.. After hearing such great things aboutthe restaurant, not having a good experience, and being encouraged to return and try it again, my friend and I did. It was such a better experience, and the food was delicious! We started with tasty drinks. O
The service is truly terrible.
I am crazy disappointed. On the night of 5/31, one of the hostesses had to go into the kitchen and stand and watch the wait staff make the order after they just didn't make my order. I got the food, and the steak was straight-up raw, and the French f
