Amazing food and service. Everything we ordered was delicious. Fine dining without any hint of stuffy atmosphere. Looking forward to returning again soon.
Nothing extraordinary
Very limited menu selection (for lunch) and nothing extraordinary. Service was correct but we were alone in the restaurant. Price/quality a bit unbalanced in our opinion. We went out of our way to come here and wonder that it was worth the trouble.

I won’t be returning to the Delahunt restaurant
Fixed Christmas menu. I had scallops to start - it was 1 very small scallop cut into 3 pieces. For main I had monkfish - it was 2 slices from a fillet and it was very nice. Not much came with it. No potatoes served with it. Thank god for the bread!

We two were the only diners in the restaurant. All the food was cold. Mains and side dishes. When pointed this out to waiter, he offered to reheat meal but this would have led to overcooking of meat. Nobody asked if we were enjoying our meal. When

Did the tasting menu.
It was delicious and surprisingly more filling than expected. The staff are very attentive and make it an experience for you. Building used to be an old post office which they maintained some of the structure. Very cool.

Lovely atmosphere. A great deal of care was given for each plate. Creative, yet direct menu each with a pleasant surprise. I'd recommend. Only improvement might be the music. (We might have been there on "hits of the 80's night ;-) )

Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* ElaborateHouse74, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* ElaborateHouse74 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to ElaborateHouse74 for any questions Peter may have as ElaborateHouse74 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* ElaborateHouse74 now uses their connections at Delahunt Dublin 2 to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If ElaborateHouse74 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, ElaborateHouse74 receives the $200 reward which is credited to ElaborateHouse74's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Delahunt Dublin 2!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
