Second visit to Denucci's.
..Delicious artichoke appetizer, fabulous garlic knot rolls, outstanding eggplant parmesan, excellent Branzino and tortellini Bolognese. Such a nice server, prompt service, lovely decor, fun atmosphere. Highly recommend.
First time dining here.
Really enjoyed the food. Pasta dishes were excellent. Service was very good. However, there were a couple of things that I think can be improved which would have me rate this restaurant 5 stars. One, why do I have to ask for bread? I spent a

TLDR: Food was good, service is sub-par.
Make sure you double check everything or you will be overcharged. We came in on a Wednesday night as a party of 5 and it was busy, but not overly so, and it did take a while to order but we were not too bothered. Our waiter, Tim? told us he was new,

We have been here several times now and it has become a go to. We were able to find a last minute reservation and it was so easy to find parking on 2nd in Highland Park. The food was delicious! We also have had wonderful wait staff every time.

Downtown Highland Park seems to get restaurants to come in, but a lot really don't stay. The stalwarts are all here (Michael's Red Hots, Once Upon A Bagel, Backyard Grill, etc.) but others tend to come and go. I'm hoping DeNucci's
Worst spaghetti cacio e pepe I've had.
Tasted like Olive Garden - they clearly didn't use the traditional Italian recipe. Waste of money - go to the authentic Italian in Highwood (or anywhere else).

The best Cacio E Pepe in a new favorite.
Fantastic evening. Simple meal- great Aperitifs if Lemoncello Sptitz and Hugo were delicious. Then right to dinner. I had Casio e Pepe- I've been having this a lot lately and DeNucci's is the best. The pasta is perfectly cooked, which is th
Not just another Italian restaurant - a really good one!
Located in the restaurant space just north of Highland Park's only movie theatre, DeNucci's is an elegant addition to HP's restaurant scene. My wife and I enjoyed a light dinner of fish, pasta & meat balls, and a salad. Fish was ex
Connect with users posting reservations for DeNucci's Highland Park

Each posting on AppointmentTrader shows you which user submitted it and along with that provides a trackrecord of that user which indicates how much experience

If there is no user posting that fits your schedule, you can bid on your preferred time.
Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to DeNucci's Highland Park at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the DeNucci's Highland Park page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* EternalAnt36, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's $200 bid.
* EternalAnt36 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to EternalAnt36 for any questions Peter may have as EternalAnt36 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* EternalAnt36 now uses their connections at DeNucci's Highland Park to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If EternalAnt36 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, EternalAnt36 receives the $200 reward which is credited to EternalAnt36's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at DeNucci's Highland Park!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
