Extremely rude staff and terrible service. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE
I had a deeply disappointing experience at Gigi St Tropez. The service was shockingly poor—staff were rude, unfriendly, arrogant and inattentive throughout the whole day. My water glass was never refilled, the food was below expectations, and the overall atmosphere felt unwelcoming. I spent the whole day feeling judged and uncomfortable. The staff made out as if I should be the ones serving them. On top of this, we had confirmed one price for the sun beds, only to be charged a higher price without being informed. When we questioned it, the staff argued with us rather than taking responsibility. To make matters worse, when the bill came, we were told a tip was mandatory, despite service being unacceptable, and had to be paid by card and refused cash, which felt both pushy and unprofessional. Considering the high prices, I expected far better. Instead, I left feeling disrespected and let down. I would not recommend this place at all unless you want to made to feel utterly terrible about yourself.

As expected from prior reviews, the food is extremely overpriced (we paid $500 for a mediocre fish entree!!)—you’re definitely paying a premium for the the ambiance rather than the cuisine itself. One standout element was the live music—the singer was talented. Especially appreciated that she walked among the tables while singing. However, the evening was soured by the awkward experience at the end of the meal. When we went to pay, our waiter insisted—repeatedly—that we leave a tip. We had to decline three separate times. To make things worse, as he cleared the table, the waiter audibly mumbled under his breath, clearly expressing frustration. He then rushed off to share the exchange with his colleagues, and as we exited the restaurant, we were ignored—no thank you, no goodbye.. (Game of Thrones, Walk of Shame?) I thought tipping in france is not required nor expected? but maybe due to the amount of tourist visiting Gigi's tipping culture might be creeping in at establishments. But i highly doubt they would have asked a French family for a tip. Overall, we came with low expectations but somehow we still left disappointed!
Avoid this overpriced trap
The ambience at Gigi Ramatuelle is undeniably beautiful, and the staff are competent, but that’s where the positives end. The food is grossly overpriced for the quality you receive. I ordered the lobster pasta, which came with a 1kg spiny lobster listed at “market price.” The bill? Over €400. At that price point, I expected something spectacular. Instead, I was served an undercooked, under-seasoned lobster placed rather carelessly on top of lightly sauced spaghetti. The dish was completely lacking in flavor and effort. Worse yet, I left France the next day with severe stomach issues. After returning home to the U.S., I was diagnosed with two strains of E. coli and giardia. Given the undercooked lobster, I have little doubt where this originated. This restaurant is nothing more than an overpriced Instagram trap. The food does not match the price tag, and in my case, it left me seriously ill. Stay away.
THIS IS NOT A BEACH CLUB - NOT ON THE BEACH.
NO BEACH FACILITIES, this is not a beach club. Very disappointed that this “beach house” is not on the beach and is not the traditional beach club with reserved lounge chairs beach front. We reserved many days in advance to celebrate my wife’s birthday and she literally teared up when we discovered the only access to Pampelone Beach was a long walk to the public beach. When we inquired “where is the beach” the Gigi staff informed that “Pampelone was a public beach.” Gigi staff wouldn’t even allow us to use their towels because “those are very expensive.” Since we wanted to be at the beach we walked through the forested area to access the beach, only to discover multiple beach clubs with chairs and restaurants right on the beach. This is a pretentious staff and crowd. The pool and restaurant in the forrest canopy is beautiful, but don’t be fooled this “beach house” is not on the beach at all. Decor is cool, staff are not at all. Go if you don’t like the beach and want to hang at a pool for more than 200€ instead. Gigi should be clear when reserving that the “beach house” is not directly on the beach and the “expensive” towels cannot be used by guest at the beach. Thanks for almost ruining my wife’s birthday. PS Our reservation did include a note that it was my wife’s birthday and the snobbish staff made no mention or acknowledgment of that fact. We didn’t expect a cake or singing, but a simple acknowledgement would have been appreciated.
Deeply disappointing
Our experience at Gigi Ramatuelle was deeply disappointing. From the moment we arrived, the staff were arrogant and unfriendly, making us feel unwelcome right away. We were there to celebrate our daughter’s 2nd birthday, but there was absolutely no special attention for her. At other beach clubs in Saint-Tropez, like Verde, Les Palmiers, or Club 55, you usually receive something festive or special. Here, all we got was a single candle with the dessert , and that was it. Additionally, with two small children, we were seated at a tiny table in full sun, with no offer to move us to a more comfortable spot. Later, we purchased a fan for €30, which they insisted had to be paid in cash. When we gave €50, they did not give us change automatically , we had to ask for it. We ordered a Burrata and received truffle on it without being told that it would cost an extra €50, which later appeared on the bill. At the end of our visit, we asked at reception where our valet parking was, and were told: “You shouldn’t be with us.” No help, no service. In the end, we paid over €700 for a lunch where the service was far below any decent standard. Despite the beautiful location, this was by far the worst service experience we’ve had in Saint-Tropez.
Pretty space but nothing else delivers
Our party of 8 had lunch here and everyone was disappointed in the food. There were at least 3 dishes ordered that just went untouched because they were not good. I sent my undercooked shrimp back and they came back just as undercooked. The service was ok, but there was definitely no hustle. The pool was insanely crowded. We had 6 chairs reserved but didn't even bother after lunch. My nieces spent about 10 minutes at the kids club. I don't think we will be returning next summer. There are]better spots to eat.
Went here for Valentine's Day and had a great experience.
Everything--from the service to the food quality and taste--was really well done. You can tell a lot of care went into every detail. The price was definitely on the higher side, but honestly, it reflected the overall experience, and I'd still say it was worth it. Perfect spot for a special occasion.

Impressive across the board.
They got us in as walk-ins during prime time on a Thursday night. I love how much space is inside the restaurant. Not too crowded or frenetic, and the booth we got into was extremely comfortable, deeply padded. Loved the dark vibes and how easy it was to move around. Elevated comfort, just what the night needed. Our server (Monica?) was great. No rush to order and my dirty martini was refreshing perfection. We shared the scallops on the half-shell. The cripsy bits of shallot were the perfect counterpoint to the incredibly fresh scallop within and the perfect amuse-bouche. And then the Steak Frites. Perfectly done. Elegantly presented. Our server brought out aioli too. I hadn't enjoyed a steak in quite a while and this was a wonderful homecoming. Overall, while Gigi's is definitely a treat (read: expensive, over $300 for three people), it's a vibe that's worth the splurge. Will be back.

Outside feels a bit too Covid parking lot (which it is.) Food is mostly great. Crowd always fantastic (very music+arty types) - more understated flash than hipster.

Best martini in town. Shout out to Ulysses (apologies if I spelled it wrong) for the friendly banter and perfect libation. A lovely time!

I love Gigi's, it's a lovely place and ambience was warm and inviting. We started with the Little Gem Salad, which was refreshing and perfectly dressed, followed by Broccolini which was cooked perfectly to its tenderness with flavorful seasoning. The Seafood Tower was a showstopper, each seafood from oysters to the shrimp cocktail was incredibly fresh and expertly chilled. I enjoyed the Caviar dip very much. The Sea Bass was our main entree yet the highlight of the night, it was cooked to perfection with flaky texture. We ended the night with two orders of sorbet, it was light and refreshing. The service was great and attentive. Highly recommended!!!

What stood out to me were the mussels, the burger, and the hamachi crudo. The ambiance is perfect for a night out with friends, date night, or even intimate enough for a business meeting. They run like a beautifully well oiled machine. The staff is so attentive and friendly. They remember all the little details to make your night special. They go above and beyond every single time. We always sit at the bar and get to see the magic happen up close. We are always in awe of the flow of this team. They make the best drinks in LA and the food gets better and better every single time. Their burgers are to die for. The moody interiors are perfection. I rarely write reviews, but our experience last night was so lovely that I felt it was time (and actually long overdue). Gigis is a gem. Run, don't walk!
Great service, the bread is a must have.
Also had the beet salad. Ordered the chicken which was decent. Huge though! Ordered it with a side of fries- since fries don't come with it. You only need one order of fries since it's a large bowl. Had chocolate cake for dessert. Again, good and tasty. Nice vibe. Came in at 5:30 so not too busy,
Food was so delicious.
The ambiance was so inviting and warm. I would recommend this to anyone visiting the Hollywood area. It really is a gem of a place with excellent service !
SCAMMERS
The goal of this restaurant is to upcharge, rip you off and scam you. They lie about pricing of items, they bring out 2 orders when you only order 1, they not only try to upsell you they flat out lie. We ordered a steak for our 2 year old toddler at dinner. Come to find out the waiter brought him a $200 steak. We ordered 1 tomahawk steak and asked the price which they told us was $220. They brought out 2 instead and they price each at $350. Manager doesn’t care in is absolutely in on this.

We had an amazing lunch at Gigi that we enjoyed with a bottle of champagne, until the waiter brought us the check. He asked for the payment immediatley without us ever seeing the check. He then went on to scrunch the check between his fingers, asked if we wanted the terminal receipt(which we did) and then walked away from the table. When we asked to see the original check we immediately noticed the overcharge.. they had added two cocktails and a bottle of water, that we did NOT order.. i dont care about the over charge amount, its about the principle.. why do you overcharge me if I have not ordered the items, what a scam.. we originally wanted to leave a big tip because we had a great time at the restaurant, we enjoyed the recommendations from the server, but only at the end of the dinner we found out that the server wanted to scam us.. What a ridiculous situation.. so disappointed.. Only after we asked for the actual check the server came to apologize for the “accidental charge”.. i dont beielive any of this bllsht.. this was not accidental, he did it on purpose.. and i know this because how he “presented” us the bill.. there was no presenting of the bill, the server just came with the card payment terminal to take the payment, without showing us the actual receipt.. he then came back to “apologize” and gave us back the overcharge amount in cash.. e even did not get the money back on the card we paid with.. so rude and SO disrespectful…. Horrible service and horrible attitude from the service staff. I highly recommend you to check your bill so you would not get scammed like we did..

Outstanding
The Gigi team excelled above their usual high level. A new chef is in residence this season coming from Cap Horn in Courchevel. The food was the best of the beach restaurants. The service team did an exemplary job. Maybe it is too early in the season to make any sweeping judgments but the meal served to our table of six was flawless. Over many years we have lunched at all the St Tropez / Ramatuelle beach restaurants (including Gigi) and we will continue regularly to patronise Club 55, Les Palmiers (already reserved in the days ahead) and others, but I think the whole Gigi team is currently delivering above everyone else.

One of my fave local spots for happy hour vibes, delicious food and beverages. Although they don't have many vegetarian or vegan options-those that are on the menu are worth getting. Everyone is super friendly & attentive including Ulysses and Brooklyn at the bar and Chef Julio in the kitchen. Definitely recommend to everyone!

It was my first time there last night& WOW WHY DID I TAKE SO LONG TO TRY THIS PLACE?! Walking into the restaurant was like a dream, the decor is so pretty and the way the restaurant was arranged is so nice. We sat at the bar& i love how everyone there was so friendly and personal with introducing themselves and making it such a great time. The food was immaculate. I havent eaten at a restaurant where every single dish made me want to savor every bite. 1000/10. Worth every penny.

Asked the waiter for extra, and they asked how many olives because they charge $2 an olive. Ridiculous. Beautiful space though and some good dishes.

The apps are great, the drinks excellent, and the mains never disappoint. and it's in a buzzing new area of Hollywood called the Sycamore District. It's a hidden gem, but for those who know of it (including A-list movie stars) know that it's a fun place to go for tasty French fusion.
Ulysses and Brooklyn are a national treasure.
Great food, and great cocktails! The whole team and overall service leave nothing to be desired. 10/10.

My recent visit to Gigi left me with mixed feelings. The restaurant's environment was pleasant, creating a welcoming atmosphere. However, there was a noticeable downside to the experience. The staff seemed quite occupied serving larger tables, which unfortunately meant they didn't have much time to check on our smaller party. This lack of attention was disappointing and did affect the overall experience. On the bright side, the food was quite good, and I appreciated the quality and flavors. But, it wasn't quite the dining experience I had expected due to the limited attention from the staff. While Gigi offers a pleasant environment and tasty food, the service could be improved, especially when it comes to smaller parties. It's a place to consider for a meal, but the overall experience fell short of expectations.

Rip off beach, poor quality food, horrible, I was sick all night. Lots of little creatures on the plate, I saw mice walking around the kitchen, The staff demands tips even though it is already super expensive and they run behind the customer to get a big tip and what's more they are not professional they don't know how to work This is a beach to avoid
Influencer not restaurateur!
Extremely disappointed by the Gigi restaurant which ultimately is only flashy. Well done, it’s very strong. Welcomed by a valet who charges 15th to park your car but who offers you a trip on a golf cart to pass the pill, the experience becomes pleasant. But when we arrive at the restaurant it's disillusionment, a table of two next to each other, no privacy, I've never eaten so close to strangers... And exorbitant prices 76 euros a pavlova??? 10th a bottle of water? (No carafe offered obviously…) and to end the evening when you come home… sick!! Gigi, you are neither gastronomic nor starry, don’t forget, you just look good in photos. In short, beautiful only on Instagram, rubbish in real life!

Disappointment
Very beautiful place, beautiful decor like all Paris Society establishments; but like all the places in this group, very poor quality:price ratio, with indulgence... “Côte de veau” at €48 and it is in reality a veal cutlet less than 1cm thick which is clearly impossible to serve slightly pink - as requested - given its finesse; therefore dry meat, without flavor and the name veal chop is simply dishonest Extra support of course!!!!!!! Amateur service by untrained staff, the pinnacle being reached by the "sommelier" who brings you the wine ordered (€100 per bottle) holding it horizontally in his hand like a baguette... But bravo for the audacity of this group which succeeds in imposing on all its customers a "valet parking service" which requires you to leave your vehicle in a vacant lot 500m from the restaurant for €15... Even the largest Parisian establishments which have a valet service (the services of which are included in the prices and services) had not dared... To be honest, I would like to point out that we also had dinner in July and that we were, during this period, satisfied!
A day in St Tropez that is worth it!
We arrived at the restaurant without any particular expectations. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the finesse of the menu, the excellent quality of the dishes and the impeccable service. After our meal, we continued our day by the pool sipping cocktails. With ambient music and an infinity pool, the experience was perfect. We will come back with pleasure!

Very beautiful place, exceptional setting, a little hidden, easy to access by vehicle, valet parking... very good products, beautiful atmosphere, very professional staff entirely at the service of its customers! Price in relation to the service…. I recommend, do it in advance because it is a very popular establishment!!!
Uninteresting marketing product
The place is very beautiful but that's the only good thing about it. First of all, it's not on Pampelonne beach but off the beach, you should know that. Then the parking lot is far from the restaurant and it's an excuse to impose a paid valet on you, it's not very elegant. In addition, Gigi takes you hostage during the reservation by demanding a credit card imprint and will charge you 90th if you are unable to do so. Finally, the staff is absolutely not at your service, does nothing to make your experience pleasant and the cuisine is not worth the detour. There are much better places in Pampelonne or St Tropez. Right next to the Tropicana for example

Gigi's is a french restaurant that does a small seasonal menu. Food review:Steak frites - the first time we went here they have filet mignon for the steak frites, but my most recent visit I'm not sure what cut it was, but there was a stringy piece in the middle of it that wasn't very appetizing. Aside from that, it's cooked perfectly and tastes great. The fries are crispy. They serve this with an au poivre sauce and it's perfectly seasoned and goes well with the steak. Sweet potato croquettes - Really enjoyed this dish I just wish there was more of it. You get 3 tiny pieces. Strawberry crisp - this was pretty good and definitely needed the crispy coconut on top.Basque cheesecake - wasn't a huge fan of this. It was eggy and a little too firm for my liking, but if you pair it with the strawberry crispy, it makes it betterBread w/ caviar butter - Bread was really good but I didn't care for the caviar butter that muchCocktail Shrimp - Shrimp is big and perfectly cooked. My friends and I were excited to try out this spot and though we had a good time the food was inconsistently so-so. Not bad but not great. I had the escargot and it was pretty decent w/ a great white wine butter. Desserts were the main "ehh" moments. $15 for the smallest and blandest brownie was a let down; however, the cookie was really good (the ice cream sandwich was a big boof; see pic for reference...kind of ice cream soup). The drinks were all very tasty and the off menu spritz the bartender made me was super fresh. With all that being said, the ambiance was charming and elegant, and the service was great (very attentive and kind servers). 5/5 stars for service.

Love the inside vibe. Nice atmosphere. We got the burgers and I got the trout. I think they changed the menu last month and they don't have a lot of the other items. No escargot anymore. But overall a good spot.

Was seated at the worst table in the worst seat - the one by the water station. Had to deal with a wet towel smell that I complained about and they swapped it for a clean towel. Also, someone was refilling their own personal water bottle at that station and sprayed water all over my faux fur coat and velvet dress. The manager came over to address our concerns so that was good. I did have to go home and change before going out again, so that was inconvenient. On to the food - it was all okay. The chicken liver was okay, the gnocchi was okay, the steak frites were okay, the wine was fine. Parking was easy out front. I probably won't return but if you want to check this place out, I would suggest waiting for warmer weather to dine outside for that experience. Outside looked cute but it's too cold to eat outside for dinner right now.

Both were delicious! The croquettes were flavorful and high quality. The oysters were incredible. I am a huge oysters fan and these are in my top 5. Bread was as fresh as the lettuce. Highly recommend.

My favorite dishes were the steak and frites, the branzino and the little gem salad. It seems like their menu is ever changing - they had several dishes on their Yelp that I was excited to try, but they no longer offer them. Definitely make reservations and ask to be seated in one of their full booths or get a table outside (the half booths are small and you get very little privacy.)Service was great, drinks were strong, vibe was nice. I would love to come back here again.

Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to Gigi Ramatuelle at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the Gigi Ramatuelle page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* FluffyStar64, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* FluffyStar64 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to FluffyStar64 for any questions Peter may have as FluffyStar64 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* FluffyStar64 now uses their connections at Gigi Ramatuelle to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If FluffyStar64 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, FluffyStar64 receives the $200 reward which is credited to FluffyStar64's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Gigi Ramatuelle!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
