We enjoyed a great time at Hillstone for dinner the other night. The wine and ambiance were festive and the dinner was quite tasty. I would love to try the artichokes next time we visit!

Always a pleasure, came back again on the Fourth of July and enjoyed some of my favorites again.
They are clear about who they want in their establishment!
They are clear about who they want in their establishment! Thanks Evan for rushing us out! He stopped by our table (party of 2) to let us know he had other guest that needed to be seated. He did this as we were paying for our bill ($250) It was my first time at Hillstone and I will NEVER go back!!! As the only black patrons in the restaurant it made me angry that Evan would stop by our table to rush us out. This place is RIDICULOUS!!!
Went to Hillstone on Father's Day with my family for dinner.
Food was great. I've never had a bad meal there. Emily, our server, was fantastic. Service was prompt & professional making our dinner very enjoyable. Can't say enough good things about the service and food at Hillstone.
Went for Fathers day lunch! All the Hillstone restaurants
Went for Fathers day lunch! All the Hillstone restaurants have great atmosphere! Starters were artichoke dip and coconut shrimp sushi roll. Both were excellent! Two of us had the Dings chicken sandwich and one had the California burger. All were amazing! The coleslaw is one of the best we've ever had! Service was great! We definitely enjoy Hillstone wherever and whenever we go!
OK, so Tony is awesome.
We visit here usually around 11am at his bar on Sundays. HE makes the experience every time special. We have our regular menu items but it's the friendly faces and always their kindness that we want to come back to. Thanks to you Tony!
The food was great and Bella the bartender took amazing
The food was great and Bella the bartender took amazing care of me. You can't go wrong with the artichoke dip, french dip, or grilled artichokes. And the old fashioned and whiskey sour were amazing
We loved it here! We had a very relaxing dinner.
Service was great, the food was phenomenal! We loved the smoked salmon app - definitely our favorite!!

This used to be a favorite meeting spot for both work and personal gatherings, but I won't be coming back. My sushi roll appetizer and Hawaiian ribeye were Applebees quality, the service was dismissive and aloof. I was looking forward to treating myself to a nice meal on a beautiful afternoon, but left feeling I'd wasted my time and money.
The manager here is incredibly rude.
The bartender was lovely, but I wont be coming back because of his attitude. It was my birthday and me and 5 friends came from a Barry's workout class across the street and quickly ordered drinks at the bar. We sat on the outside patio bc we were in workout clothes and didn't have a reservation. He came outside multiple times to ask if we were going to eat at the restaurant/if we had a reservation to which we replied no - we were just grabbing drinks. He didn't give an explanation for this question but it felt like he was rushing us off the patio. When we went inside to pay our $150 bill he came up to us again and said we needed to leave because our short sleeves didn't fit the dress code. We were obviously leaving as we were signing the bill but he felt the need to repeat this to us loudly in front of other guests. Zero professionalism and no thanks to our money after an easy job for his bartender. Don't come here if you want hospitality from the front of the house.
Best French dip of my life!! Can't wait to come back
Best French dip of my life!! Can't wait to come back again!! Service is always incredible, and food is amazing.
Absolutely amazing! Great atmosphere.
Best Caesar salad on the planet. Fresh squeezed juice in the Margarita. Great service. My husband and I travel for his birthday every year to the Denver area, Cherry Hill just for the salad!
This was a great restaurant.
They are in need of a new staff. The last 4 (yes 4) times we have been in they have been the worst. We kept thinking it was an isolated incident. They are militant in the treatment of customers. Bartenders are rude. Hostesses can't be bothered. Once you get a seat, servers are fine. It is no longer worth the wait or the money.
Service was really poor.
Server was more concerned about giving a good experience to her boyfriend than making sure I received my food in time.
Best chicken peanut salad in town.
The bar is always great service too . The bathroom was clean too.
Read The Dining Rules Before You Go
This used to be one of my favorite places in Cherry Creek but prices have skyrocketed and the portions have gotten smaller. Also they have very strict and ridiculous dining rules posted on their website, you should read before you choose this restaurant. They will only take reservations for small parties. I tried to make a reservation for 5 and was told no and to go to the Cherry Creek Grill they prefer small groups of 2.

Delicious food and lovely service! We sat at the bar and were waited on by Nicole, who could not have been nicer. We got the Grilled Artichokes, Tuna Mango Roll, and Fried Chicken Sandwich. All were fantastic and served in a timely fashion. Highly recommend for an upscale lunch!
Everything I've had here has been delicious! The highlight
Everything I've had here has been delicious! The highlight for me is their Hawaiian ribeye, which is insanely flavorful. The double-cut pork chop is also excellent, nice char and a very good mustard sauce. Cozy ambiance, upscale without being too fancy, and top-notch service.
Hillstone does a great job all the time.
I really appreciate how the food quality is as consistent as the all black uniforms. The pics - if you know, you know.

The steak is amazing and will make you crave another outcome no to Hillstone. Highly recommend a date night here!
Terrible service and wouldn't serve us a drink at 7:30
Terrible service and wouldn't serve us a drink at 7:30 because they thought we were drunk.
Horrible
I had Lunch there today and the food the experience was the worst one yet, which I was surprised about because It is usually my go to spot. 1. There was plastic in my sushi, so sent it back 2. the Kale salad was oily and had way to much oils 3. The server did not ask how my meal was 4. The staff was not welcoming. its like they got upset at me that there was a big piece of plastic in my sushi....
Nothing special for the prices it charges.
I was not very impressed by this restaurant, even though it is very popular, and always seems crowded. I thought the menu was nothing special, and the food in my view was overpriced for what you got. I think there are many other options with more creative menus at this price point.
Wait, no baked potato?
We were long time regulars. Unfortunately, the elimination of the baked potato and the Thai noodle salad with steak are deal breakers. We wonโt be returning anytime soon.
Who is Hillstone?
What in the world? Special place for us for years. You too can have French fries for an appetizer and French fries with your steak. What happened to the upscale congruence of the warm bread plate and the amazing baked potatoe. Not looking forward to returning . Better fries at Smashbuger.
This is unfortunate.
A very close friend recommended Hillstone for a celebratory lunch. I will comment chronologically on the experience. First, one of my guests came wearing a hat. They made him remove it at the door and when 2 other people sat near us I asked the manager why they still had hats on and she responded that they refused to take their hats off. What? Either you enforce your policies or don't harass guests. My guest was upset and commented the entire time we were there. Now, the courses. Artichokes were ok, a little dry but ok. The deviled eggs were very sweet, we removed half of the yolk mixture and it was better. They presented us with focaccia bread, which wasn't focaccia at all, the structure was closed and the bread was soaked in butter (focaccia is beautiful because of its open structure and the richness if olive oil).I got the salmon entree. It was overcooked, so quickly and so hard the wonderful fat that lives inside if the flesh was outside of the fish. It was also not fresh, salmon has a very mild smell unless it is not fresh. When I came home with the leftovers, my partner told me to throw away what was in the bag because it stunk. Overall, this place is a zero. Is there a Sizzler in Denver? Total check was +$350 for four people for LUNCH. I would have been disappointed if the check was $100 for 4 people.
Brooke Mogavero was AMAZING
My family and I came to Denver to visit friends-- and we decided to stop in and try this restaurant that came HIGHLY recommended around. Our waitress was Brooke and she was easily the best waitress we have ever had. I'll say this- food was ok. But the service is why we would return. Brooke was attentive, kind, and knowledgeable about the food. Thank you, Brooke!
The Denver branch of this chain maintains the same swanky
The Denver branch of this chain maintains the same swanky vibes as the others, so if you're looking to feel like you're not in Denver for some reason (read: much fewer Cotopaxi vests and Birkenstocks than you'll otherwise see) this might be your spot. We came mid afternoon on a Saturday and ate at the bar and it was packed. Extremely attentive service, good wine selection and the mocktail I ordered tasted much more sophisticated than the usual cup of juice that ensues when you ask for a non alcoholic mixed drink. They even switched my martini glass out for a colder one when I was halfway done with my mocktail which was a level of service I was totally taken aback by. Cucumber avocado sushi and shrimp macadamia rolls were delicious and the grilled artichokes are a MUST! Overall great experience.
I LOVE THIS PLACE.
THE FOOD is literally to the die for. You know why? Because their filet is perfectly cooked every single time. Shout out to the chefs there wow. I'm a big hill stone fan. When I lived in orlando, I went to the hill stone there all the time. And I am so glad denver has one! All of their ingredients are so fresh. Every taste and bite just melts into your mouth. If you haven't gotten the filet, please try! It's worth it. I also love all of their side dishes, my ultimate favorite is the creamed corn. Service is always astounding. Not once did my water ever went empty. The restaurant does get crowded every weekend so it's a must to arrive on time for your reservation. The decor is classy which makes me also feel classy. It's the perfect date night with your boo thang. I will always recommend this place!
It's impossible to get a reservation online and no one
It's impossible to get a reservation online and no one answers the phone when you call. It rings and then disconnects before anyone answers. Are they still open?

I used to love this restaurant, but it seems that they are insistent on making decisions to drive away customers. They recently removed their best menu item from the menu, Thai Steak and Noodle Salad, for no other reason than to differentiate further from Houstons, which doesn't have a location in CO. This comes after previous bad customer service decisions, like not allowing you to order french fries or other menu items to go (because they don't treat their customers like adults and think they know what is best for them) and getting rid of another hugely popular menu item, the Dings Flying Chicken Platter. Sad to see what was once a great restaurant continue to shoot themselves in the foot.
Great restaurant! Food was on point and delicious.
We ordered the ahi tuna burger, Thai noodle salad, and Trout, and everything was outstanding. This is more of a lunch spot for us but could also a great date night spot because it's beautiful and lively. The service was fantastic too!
It's always disappointing when your favorite item is no
It's always disappointing when your favorite item is no longer served.Best Fried Shrimp I've ever had.Maybe put the recipe on your website if you can't serve it.
Way overpriced and small portions $90 for a key line price.
Ridiculous service and attitude go a long way but not here
Quoted 45 minute wait which was fine except we weren't
Quoted 45 minute wait which was fine except we weren't seated for almost 2 hours and were given one excuse after another for the delay. They should have comp'd our dinner after we spent $150 in the bar while we waited, but they comp'd NOTHING. Won't be going back.....EVER
The Hillstone never disappoints.
All the food is very simple but very tasty. I have dreams about their delicious Brussel sprouts. It's always a must have when I visit cherry creek.
Late lunch that turned into a feast
I made a reservation for 3:00 thinking I was wasting my time, but when we walked in was thankful I had. Hillstone was packed! We feasted, after sharing two starters (a Thai Tuna roll and the Spinach and Artichoke dip we ordered a Grilled Chicken Salad and the Famous French Dip. Too much food? Nope. We had an absolutely outstanding meal and the service was impeccable. If you enjoy a refreshing cocktail you have the try "The Crush" Yum!!!
Great Meal Great Atmosphere
Stopped by for a late lunch at Hillstone. I've had dinner there in the past and was surprised at how busy the restaurant was mid-afternoon. But on a brisk winter afternoon it was the perfect place! I like the contemporary, sophisticated and warm feel of this restaurant with the wood paneling, the warm lighting and the incredible collection of antique Navajo rugs. The food and service are excellent. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The kitchen is open and you can watch everyone including the hardworking sushi chefs. They have a varied menu that includes some all-time favorites such as Maytag salad and less known Osaka style sushi. They are famous for their rotisserie chicken and feature great items from the grill including steaks but also fabulous grilled artichokes in season. My friend and I started off sharing Osaka style sushi which is layered into a square form starting with rice and then layers of spicy tuna, avocado, a spicy mayonnaise and topped with tuna. It came with two dipping sauces and was fresh and delicious. We both then had burgers. My friend had a cheese burger stacked high with two patties and garnishes and presented sliced in half - dramatic - with a side of slaw. I had a California burger with jack cheese, grilled onions, arugula and a side of fries. I asked for my burger without a bun and garnishes were so plentiful and stacked to the side that it made a nice salad. My burger was perfectly cooked with a rich meaty flavor enhanced by the house spicy mayonnaise and the fries were thin and crispy. There are many wonderful restaurants in Cherry Creek, Denver - but you won't go wrong having a meal at Hillstone. Very satisflying!
Consistently Strong
Now a family favorite Hillstone always delivers. Not the most expansive menu but a good range with strongly consistent delivery from the kitchen. The wine list is small but good. Iโd like to see some French options yet Iโve never had a bad glass or bottle here. My wife tells me the margaritaโs are spectacular. What sets its apart? Service. The staff are well trained, attentive and knowledgeable. They donโt rush you. One request. Serve a proper espresso rather than the large doubles. And find a better coffee.
Disgraceful hypocritical rude
Iโm a visitor from the UK and was appalled to be asked to remove my baseball cap because I was a male, whilst the female with me and other females in the so called restaurant where allowed to wear theirs and the other male with me allowed to wear his flat cap, totally discriminatory and shocking in the age and climate we live in today shame policy and will never return again
Sad decline
What had been a great eatery in Denver - their ribs particularly - and a great place for delicious drinks, after the COVID-19 outbreak when the staff were forbidden to mask, the quality of the service collapsed, and what had been a stellar bar devolved to be serving the most insipid of drinks, a Negroni clearly made with the wrong bitters, a G&T with club soda and not tonic.
