Americans Beware

Happy and joyful place

Very bad service and force customer to give a tip
Basically food was cold and service was very bad. We were “forced” to give a 10% tip despite service being nonexistent. I won’t be coming back again.
Quick beer for history’s sake!
Called in to have a look and a beer in a place with an important history. Pretty interior and friendly staff. Beer was okay. We didn’t stay for a meal but seemed like they had a good menu!

Perfect Weiss wurst, great music and atmosphere. Oktoberfest beer, food, pretzel was freshly made, everyone dressed in dirndls, nice gift shop. Wooden tables shared with others as they do in Germany.

Not worth it
Waste of time. Unless you’re clearly a tourist throwing money around they ignore you. Waited 45 for one beer and a starter. When I complained the server accused me of being a liar and said I’d only been there 10 mins. Don’t bother. Much better
What a perfect brewery! 🥨🍺
What a place! I won't write about the beer - it's like a nectar. The food was tremendous, you have to try the pork menu. The atmosphere was great, the band plays traditional songs while the whole brewery bar salutes and cheers!

Great place with beautiful ceilings and beer hall atmosphere and traditional dress. Food looked good but we didn't try any. The place is massive and busy and well worth a visit but unfortunately the dunkel beer was just slopped into the glasses

We visited shortly after 5 PM on a rainy Thursday evening, and the place was already packed. Here, one should find a table by oneself, and then a server comes to take an order. We could not find a table inside the hall, and so we took a table outside

Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to Hofbräuhaus München at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the Hofbräuhaus München page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* PerceptiveWash44, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's $200 bid.
* PerceptiveWash44 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to PerceptiveWash44 for any questions Peter may have as PerceptiveWash44 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* PerceptiveWash44 now uses their connections at Hofbräuhaus München to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If PerceptiveWash44 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, PerceptiveWash44 receives the $200 reward which is credited to PerceptiveWash44's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Hofbräuhaus München!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
