Javier's Las Vegas Reviews
The food was Excellent.
The service was great and the overall experience was as advertised
Excellent upscale Mexican food
Javiers scores perfect in all aspects. The physical space was attractive, the staff was very attentive, the atmosphere was happening and the food was outstanding.

I used to love this place!! Our last visit there the quality and taste went downhill! So sad!!! The rice was dry... the seafood enchiladas was bland and the tortilla taste weird. The drinks are still great!! The free chips and salsa was still good too. Also we noted on the reservation that it was for two people birthday. No happy birthday!

Even though I didn't get to try the food since they were closing when I arrived, I was so impressed with their drinks they were full of flavor and honestly some of the best I've had. What really stood out was how thoughtful the staff was. Even without the kitchen open, they still brought us chips for my birthday, which was such a kind gesture and made the night special. Definitely looking forward to coming back to try the food next time!

The service was exceptional our server was attentive, polite and patient when asked about items on the menu. The food was tasty and well prepared. However not as hot as it should have been which made the tortilla for the enchiladas a bit difficult to cut with a fork. The ambiance is a bit dark but pleasant never the less. A little pricey for the meal but it is Vegas and it is in an upscale casino. A nice place to visit on the strip. Reservations are a must!!!
This was our first time at this venue at the Aria.
We love the MGM properties there (Aria, Vdara, Cosmo, Bellagio). At 11.20 there was a long line already, but once the restaurant opened, folks were seated very quickly. The menu is great. My husband had the Tomahawk Pork Chop. He loved it though I found it to plain. My Cabo Azul was a delicious Maine Lobster enchilada with a green (tomatillo) sauce. It was accompanied by a poblano chile stuffed with real crab and shrimp. The red salsa on the table gave both an extra touch of flavor. We finished with a flan and a Carajillo. We will definitely return. Also, the service was superb.

We got an off the menu Old fashioned that was very good- made with 400 Conjejos. I got the Jamaica which is a take on a margarita with tajin but with a beety sweet herbal flavor. Complimentary chips and freshhhh salsa! Yum! Fantastic bartenders
We waited in a line for the restaurant to open.
When it did, customers were dispatched to tables with speed and grace. We were noticed and recognized by the wait staff and menus were given to us with a smile and with requests for libation before ordering. We ordered margaritas with no salt and they arrived in due time. I probably ordered the least Spanish dish (Tomahawk pork chop) and my husband ordered the equivalent of a seafood platter. Both dishes came out in a normal amount of time and were succulent and fresh-tasting. The ambiance of Javier's is on the noisier side, but is not cacophonous. It's permanently evening here, so it can be romantic in the sense that no one can possibly hear what you and your lover are saying.

One of my favorite restaurants to visit the services always
One of my favorite restaurants to visit the services always phenomenal. Food is always excellent. The restaurant just interior is amazing if you're looking for an elevated experience of just delicious food absolutely recommend recommended. A little more expensive than one would expect for Mexican food, but absolutely worth every penny.
Everything was amazing.
The food and the service were spot on. Could not have been happier with the entire experience.
Why even make a reservation?
Talk about a bad first impression, our party had a reservation for 6:30pm and we werenโt seated until after 7pm. The table was so tall! It came up to our chests and it was a bit awkward to sit/eat at. Luis was our server and he was so lovely! Explained the menu and made suggestions. Our drinks were so strong! Wooooof! All of our dishes had a kick to it so just be aware when you order.
Has been better
The wait staff is supper friendly. Cocktails vary significantly. Sometimes you wonder if they put liquor in them. Food also varied in quality of preparation. Salsa yummy (shrug)
Good Food
Best salsa around. Staff is friendly, service is fast. Reservations recommended. Love their large menu selection. Beef fajitas are always our go to. I had the seafood trio enchiladas this trip. Couldnโt really distinguish between the three seafoods. Shrimp, crab and lobster. Iโll stick to fajitas next time.
Unprofessional
not a part of the victim mentality crew but questionable assuming behavior Not authentic Mexican food but usually ok with that but not when staff is rude
Good for lunch
We had reservations and were seated fairly promptly. Service was friendly. The chips and salsa are among the best-just the right amount of spiciness. Hubby ordered chicken fajitas and found them tasty. I ordered a veggie enchilada, okay, and a cheese chili relleno, very good. Love the refried beans, creamy and delicious. They were inadvertently omitted from my order but this was quickly rectified. Not an inexpensive meal, good for lunch.
Dinner and cocktails
If you are looking for quiet and romantic this may not be your place. If you are looking for delicious cocktails and amazing Mexican food with a vibe, this is your spot! We had Costello de Res, which looks just like the picture online. Just enough spice. The short rib in Chile Negro was amazing as well with a couple of spicy margaritas to wash it all down!
Beautiful and delicious
I love this place! Food and amazing margaritas -oh my!! We have been several times and the food and drinks are consistently wonderful. The vibe and the restaurant are beautiful. A must in my opinion when visiting Vegas.
10/10
This is my new favorite restaurant in Las Vegas. Itโs beautiful inside, the staff were so impressive and the food even more so. Iโm amazed at how all the ingredients are the same as in any Mexican restaurant, but Javierโs just tastes so much better. I donโt even like guacamole that much but I ate all of it. Absolute 10/10.
Food and service was awful.
Have been going for 20 years and first time in Vegas. Really awful

Love this resturant! Whenever we come to Vegas we always eat at Javiers. The food is amazing and ambiance and service is top tier we got the enchilada and taco combo as well as tres leche for dessert. Highly recommend!
Chips and salsa were solid and that's about it.
240 including tip for some steak and chicken fajitas with all the fixings and 3 house margs.. GTFOH! All you influencers who rave about this place, I should have known better. Shame on me!! Ya'll suck!!!
Tasty Food
Very good food. Definitely need to make a reservation. It was super crowded. Four in our party and we each ordered fajitas. We could have easily shared as portions were large. Only thing that I didnโt like was the queso. It was a large bowl of cheese the consistency of string cheese. Couldnโt scoop it. Wasnโt the kind of queso I am accustomed to. It was almost rubbery. Other than that good. Service was prompt and waitstaff were excellent. Definitely a place to try.
One of my staples when I go to Vegas.
This place sits inside the Aria hotel/casino and is always top notch. The service, bartenders, cocktails and food are always amazing. It's going to be expensive ($65-$100 per guest) depending upon how much you drink. They have a top top shelf tequila margarita that they pour over a rock of ice, it's out of this world. I've been here for business and pleasure so it suits either one. This place is part of the Javier's in California and it never disappoints.
What a way to start off our Vegas trip.
Javier's was delicious and the staff was on top of it! While it's a bit dark in the restaurant I can't complain. The salsa was the best I've ever had and the cocktails were so fun. Can't wait to go back
Javier's is one of my favorite restaurants because they
Javier's is one of my favorite restaurants because they make mexican luxurious which isn't usually a thing. We went with a large group and suprisingly all the food was brought in a timely manner. We all ordered margaritas and shots of clase azul to start off. I always get an organica margarita with an extra shot inside. We started off with ceviche trios and guacamole. Both of these items are a must when you visit Javier's. The variety of ceviches allow you to taste a difference rather than just a normal fish. The guacamole is creamy and tangy at the same time. For my entree I always order the trio seafood enchiladas. It comes with shrimp, lobster, and crab which are soooo tasty. I don't usually like enchiladas, but these ones are a must when visiting Javier's. The ambiance and vibe throws you off as you almost don't notice your sitting in the middle of a casino. The rating for my experience is a 9/10.

If you're down for expensive Mexican in a beautiful restaurant, this is your place. I went with an extremely large party and we had a set menu. Every single dish was a hit: short rib, seafood enchiladas, surf & turf, etc. All apps were devoured. Ceviche was my favorite, even the salsa was incredible. Highly recommend the friend ice cream for dessert. The servers were all over us and every plate was cleared immediately. Highly, highly recommend.
Food was amazing, our bartender Eddy was amazing making
Food was amazing, our bartender Eddy was amazing making delicious drinks on point, very knowledgeable. We had the ceviche de ahi and enchiladas poblanas, this place is such a vibe good music and good time at the bar.
Love this restaurant! The food was amazing! The service
Love this restaurant! The food was amazing! The service was outstanding and the restaurant ambience was fun and relaxing. Very cool decor. I had the chicken enchilada and taco. My husband had the fish tacos which he said were outstanding. The rice and beans were delicious. Margaritas....awesome! We will definitely return!
I was absolutely not impressed at all with the food quality.
The prices were extremely high for what you get. The food was bland and the service was subpar. I love Vegas for great food. This was not it unfortunately.
Nothing can compete
Amazing everything is so good from the salsa to the beef. I love the Jalapeรฑo margaritas! Yum yum yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Fun, tasty and great food!
Beautiful restaurant! Hand made wooden sculptures that were incredible! The food was delicious, albeit expensive. Drinks are around $25 so be prepared. Service was fantastic and everyone was extremely attentive!
Class act!
Located on the casino floor inside the Aria Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. We didnโt have reservations but as long as the bar has seats available youโll have no problems! The food was done really well from taste to presentation to temperature of food all good marks!
Outstanding service, great food, great drink and a great time-
There is a young lady named Alex, a bartender at Javier's that is a great asset to both the restaurant and to Aria. This last visit we found ourselves sitting at the bar 2 to 3 times a day having a meal or just just enjoying a few cocktails. This Is partly because we like Javiers a lot, but mainly because we loved Alex.I could go on forever about how she this made this older couple feel welcomed and special. She introduced us to new cocktails, laughed with us and provided us with some of the best service ever at a place that is always packed full. This young lady was a true stand out for my wife and myself on this visit-
Staff and atmosphere typical, Food saved the Day
The staff was not friendly and it was a typical Vegas cattle call. Just super crowded and full of Vegas drunk people. However, food came fast and it was really good. Had quesadillas and surprisingly good. Guacamole was top notch. We are from San Antonio and this Mexican food was good. Price moderate for Vegas. Would recommend. Only gave it a 3 cuz the staff was dismissive
Excellent Mexican - great quality food
We got the concierge at the Aria to book us a table at Javiers for my Husbands birthday and we were not disappointed. The food was excellent, the margaritas were very strong and the staff were really friendly. It is dark, reading the menu required the use of the torch on our mobile phone and it can be noisy when full of diners, however it was well worth it and next time we stay we will definitely go again.
Drinks weren't the best.
Service was really good. Cabo Azul was very large -- didn't eat the taco which had pasty breading on the protein. Couldn't remember what it was and couldn't identify it after tasting. Poblano pepper was shrimp and cheese stuffed inside. Shrimp ceviche was a hit - enough for 3-4 to share. Lobster enchilada was tasty. Sweet cornbread cake was very dense and not to my liking.
Who knew such delicious and authentic food good be found in
Who knew such delicious and authentic food good be found in Vegas, much less Aria. I'm originally from Los Angeles and consider myself a good judge of mexican food. Let me say this place is amazing. You won't find any yellow cheese here! That's the first sign. Rich, creamy cotija cheese. Their salsa served once sat has an fresh flavor that's just spicy enough but not overwhelming. Try the guacamole! Some of the best I've had. Now that I've stuffed myself with chips, guac and salsa, it's time to eat, and eat well I did! Servings are generous, the chicken was perfectly marinated, and I suspect the tortillas are made in house, they were that good. Staff is very friendly, and service was quite prompt. Excellent wine and beer list, with full bar. Inside ambiance is quiet, but not museum-like quiet, it's just right for dates, friends and family, or just a nice night out. Try it!

I had another great meal at my favorite Mexican spot on the strip. My go to dish is the taco/ enchilada platter. I don't care for sweet( ish) tomatillo green sauce so I always ask for the traditional red sauce. The crunchy shredded beef taco and delicious refined beans always hit the spot. We were able to get a nice booth in the bar area and had an excellent, friendly server. One of the best things I like about this place is that they make their chips and chunky salsa fresh every day and it's completely; unlike almost every other Mexican place on the strip that charges you for watered down salsa. The prices at Javier's have gone up a lot in the past few years, but if you're ok paying for high quality food in a hip setting, this is your place.
Javiers always deliver with tender and flavorful food.
The service at their Aria location is 10/10. They should train the La Jolla and Newport Beach staff. They operate at another level here at Aria location. True professionals at their craft. Muchas gracias
The food was great.
We ordered la tablita with steak and chicken. It was more than enough for two people. We were absolutely disappointed with their specialty margarita drinks, especially with that price tag. They should have been better than a basic run of the mill margarita. I had high expectations. Aside from that, the service was good and so was the atmosphere.

We have been here several times as well as many of their other locations, but last night the food just didn't do it. Carnitas plate was lacking in flavor depth. The arracherra was fair, but didn't really fill the need. The chips seemed a bit stale. I'm usually a Javier's fan, but if I don't keep it honest I'd be doing a disservice to my readers.
Good vibes and great espresso martini! Pretty standard
Good vibes and great espresso martini! Pretty standard Vegas restaurant atmosphere since it's right next to the slots and a decent walk from the nearest entrance.

Great food and service one of top 3 Mex restaurants in Vegas ! Nice setting dark vibe good drinks as well waiter was nice and staff check on you ! I'll be back soon
Good atmosphere and authentic food.
We made a reservation and we're seated 25 min after which was a bit annoying
Disclaimer before I make this review .
Mexican food is my favorite, tacos are my favorite single item and refried beans is my all time favorite side dish(and actually one of my favorite foods period) . That being said, I've been to so many restaurants in Vegas , San Diego, Portland Oregon and many other cities I've visited. Not only was it the best Mexican food I've ever had Javier's was one of the best meals I've had anywhere and the refried beans (OMG) . I'm going through a midlife crisis right now where I want to quit my job and apply at Javier's to get that damn bean recipe . Unbelievable. The seafood enchiladas tasted so good with the sauce and the seafood was packed in there and fresh tasting . The carnitas were really well executed . Definitely the best I've ever had . We always go out and try new places but this is one of the few places I just went to but can't wait to go back . Service was stellar .
I celebrated my 42th birthday in this Mexican restaurant.
It's really high end with delicious dishes. All waiters are friendly and professional, My wife ordered a plate but wasn't as she' expected and kindly told us to pick any other plate on the house. The chips and salsa is one of my favorites appetizers. We will definitely return back every time we go to Las Vegas.
Avoid! Great ambience, mediocre food and underground service!
If I could give this place 0 stars I would definitely do so! The service was very inattentive and once we ordered our meals, our waiter did not even bother to check up on us. No one stopped by to see if it tastes good or if we need anything else. One of the gentleman who brought the food to the table had a really bad attitude and gave us a nasty look because we couldn't understand what dish he brought out. I am sorry, but the music was loud so we kindly asked him again what dish it was, but he rolled his eyes and walked away. We would have told him that our dishes were lukewarm and tasted extremely bland. This is unacceptable customer service! The food is mediocre at best and there are plenty other places out there. I ordered steak fajitas and the meat quality was very disappointing. It had no flavor and very chewy. Needless to say I only had a few bites. Another no go was the fact that I was charged for a double order of steak fajitas, but I only ordered a regular meal. Unfortunately, I only paid close attention to bill after we left as we just wanted to get out of the restaurant. The guacamole was bland as the rest of the food as well as the refried beans. Salt goes along way when cooking! The remaining dishes pollo asada, enchiladas Del Mar and steak picado were not to brag about either. Any little Mexican place has a better turnaround than this. If you are a group of 6 or more people don't expect any customer service as the gratitude is included and they don't bother with your table at all. What a joke on a $500+ bill. We spoke to a gentleman at the front about our bad experience, but he didn't really seem to care much so we left. The masses keep this restaurant open because it's definitely not the quality of the food neither the unprofessional customer service. Do yourself a favor and stay away! This is a tourist trap for drunk tourist who have no clue how good food and service looks like!
A Must Do When In Vegas
We ate here during a family trip with my sister and brother-in-law and my son and daughter-in-law. We love this place and try to eat here every time we are 8n Las Vegas. Reservations were at 5:30 due to a show we had at 8. There were 6 of us and we were seated at their round tables which are hard to get in and out of, but there arenโt many others options. We had the pollo asada and the enchiladas poblanos and enchilada and taco duo. Everything was amazing! Their refried beans are the best Iโve ever eaten anywhere! We also ordered 2 rounds of Javierโs margarita, yummy! Everything was fantastic!

Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to Javier's Las Vegas at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the Javier's Las Vegas page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.

* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid

* DistinguishedTree58 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to DistinguishedTree58 for any questions Peter may have as DistinguishedTree58 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
