Luisa is located in Condado and maybe that is why they feel the need to charge $7 dollars for regular water. Today we only went for a glass of wine each and had a small salad and a sepias appetizer. Our bill was close to $100.00 not sure it was worth it!
Over it was fine, but not sure I'd go back.
I was dining solo and they automatically shunted me to the bar without the offer of a table. I enjoyed the chill techno music in the background, but overall I had the impression they didn't really want me there and I was an imposition - nothing I can directly cite but more the vibe, maybe because I'm a visitor to PR and not a native? Gimlet cocktail was good. Bronzino was played beautifully but flavor was just fine - nothing to write home about. Could've skipped the mashed potatoes and realized everything I ordered was stark white with no color on the plate, maybe that was my problem. Overall fine but skippable.
Great dinner with family
The food was fantastic and the service very professional and attentive. Reception was welcoming and kind. Our waitress, Carol was very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. I appreciate the fact they have a dress code, that always makes for a better experience and adds to the aesthetic of the place . A little pricey but you pay for the great ambiance, service,exclusivity, and excellent food. Overall an excellent dining experience.

Worst ever
I am going to make this easy this is not fine dinning rest is a scam . The worst steak ever, worst croquetas ever ,worst octupus ever . Simple you want fine spanish dinning , el chotis, want to have good food at reasonable prices , Kasalta. Luisa shame on you guys paid 250 dollars for junk food like looks and tate like sizzler

A hidden gem here in El Condado. The service and food were excellent! The restaurant has a great vibe and the server was on point. Definitely will be back real soon.

We had the Cuban palomilla steak, empanadas, avocado and rice and beans. All were so tasty. The steak was perfect and a little crispy which was awesome. The empanada hot sauce was great on the steak too! This is a hidden gem and a new favorite place in Condado.

The hostess with the bob haircut was extremely rude, rolling her eyes at us throughout our entire visit. Despite making a reservation for 7:30 PM, we were told to wait on the side for almost 30 minutes before being seated. What's the point of making a reservation if it's not honored? Every time she walked past us, she rolled her eyes, making us feel incredibly uncomfortable and unwelcome. To make matters worse, there was also a blonde hostess with a bob cut who kept smirking at us, clearly showing favoritism toward other guests. It was obvious that this place caters to white patrons, while the rest of us were treated as an afterthought. This place tries to act high-end and pretentious, but the staff's stuck-up and unprofessional attitude completely ruins the experience. That being said, our waiter was absolutely wonderful--super sweet, attentive, and the only saving grace of the night. What was supposed to be a special celebration for the bride-to-be ended up feeling disappointing and uncomfortable. Our last night in Puerto Rico was far from what we had envisioned.
Divine dinner and outstanding Onasis
Food continues to be excellent. We had a wonderful leisurely dinner in the terrace room,... less noise and more intimate. Our waiter, Onasis, was phenomenal... charming, attentive and did not rush us. A pleasure since so many restaurants take your drink order, appetizer order and entree order.... all at once and then everything shows up quickly as if you are on a game show.

Great drinks and food. Server was very friendly and attentive. I loved that you could pick out your own bottle of wine from the cellar! Will definitely be back.
Close to our Hotel
This place was a short walk from our hotel so we thought we would try it..power was out when we got there(happens a lot I was told in Puerto Rico) so nice and dark:)..nicely appointed inside and service was professional. Food came out reasonably fast and was very good. A little pricy but typical for San Juan. i do recommend if in the area

They sell you leftover. I had the worst dining experience at Luisa Restaurant in San Juan last night. When I requested water, the waiter poured glasses for my dad and me from an already opened half-bottle of Evian, then took the bottle away. When my husband joined us and asked for water, they poured him half a glass from the same bottle, which ran out, and finally brought a new sealed bottle and left it on the table. To my surprise, I was charged for two full bottles of water ($14) despite only receiving one sealed bottle and half of another (likely leftover from another table). Thinking it might have been a mistake, I called the restaurant to clarify and expected an apology or at least a reasonable explanation. Instead, I was met with shockingly rude and dismissive behavior from multiple female staff members who answered the phone. They spoke to me in an accusatory tone, made excuses, and even mocked me when I requested an apology. One of them sarcastically said, "Oh, you want an apology?" and another responded in the most unprofessional and condescending tone, "Oh, we apologize bula bula." This behavior is disgusting and unacceptable, especially for a restaurant that markets itself as a high-end establishment. The staff's complete lack of professionalism, respect, and common decency left me appalled. They refused to refund the tip I left, even though the issue stemmed from poor service, and only agreed to refund the bottle if I physically returned to the restaurant--a ridiculous and inconvenient demand. It's 2025, and I never expected to experience such appalling service and unprofessionalism in a so-called upscale restaurant. To be treated this way as a paying customer is revolting. It's clear this restaurant does not value its patrons or understand basic hospitality. Avoid this place at all costs if you value respectful and honest service--you won't find it here.
Great dinner at a great location
The food is just awesome . They have a wine cellar with a good variety of wines for you to choose, the mark up is not bad. The restaurant is pleasant and my steak was super! There was a mistake in my bill but the manager gracefully corrected the issue. They have valet parking. We’ll be back soon
High End in Condado
Pros: excellent food top to bottom. Seafood exceptional. Private room for events. Cool vibe and bar area. Cons: little rough around the edges.

Best restaurant in San Juan
The best bar for a good evening with great food and amazing local ambience. Victoria and Lu stand out at the bar. Food delivery is impeccable and taste never disappoints. Main room is also always packed and well served. Always looking forward to come back.

This place was a disappointment!!! Why everyone hypes this place BLOWS my mind! Reservations super easy to get in not hard like was told!!! But he bread and butter was like the star of the show honestly Started with the carpaccio has to be the worst I have ever had in my life and that is saying something !!!! 2nd got the Peruvian ceviche it had no spice at all I have had a lot of Peruvian ceviche and it wasn't horrible but it was amazing either it missed spice !!!! The empanadas were good specially with the sauce !!! The paella was delicious and specially something different considering it was noddles not rice !!!!

Portions and pricing were appropriate. The ambiance very nice - the decor is simple yet inviting. The service left a lot to be desired. From the beginning, when I was making my reservation, I was notified that there was a 2-3 hour limit on tables, to which I replied that was fine, as my husband and I had somewhere to be after dinner. Upon our arrival, we noticed there were plenty of tables available. The drinks and food arrived promptly and then everything went downhill. The server approached our table repeatedly - not in a good way - even asking if he could take away my plate WHILE I WAS STILL EATING FROM IT, and interrupting our conversation every time. Overall, we felt unwelcome and rushed and the server came off as intrusive.

Food and ambiance were great.
We had a fairly large table, but our waiter was on top of it. I shared the seafood paella with my boyfriend. I wouldn't say it was the best paella I've ever had, but we enjoyed it. We also tried the octopus and the croquettes (the squid one was my favorite). Will definitely be back!

A restaurant I have returned to several times and the food is always very good and sometimes excellent. This second time on this trip, because we were seven guests we were seated in the party/wine display/storage room with a table of young families with out-of-control children. The back wall decorated with a wine display is very nice and informative, but empty cartons are also stored on the sides, making it feel like a store room. Our dining experience was affected by yelling children running around the room. If this restaurant cannot seat 7 people in the main dining room, tell the guests before they arrive. I had the croquettes which were very good. The lamb chops were a bit dry, A friend had the veal which was a bit tough. but the rice and beans were very good.Our waiter Henry was excellent and did his best filling our glasses and steadily bringing food out.

This was delicious - I was most impressed by the ambiance and vibe of this restaurant. Super romantic spot for a date night and the food was great too. Wish the pasta didn't fill me up so much so I could have saved room for dessert as they had a great menu of selections but nonetheless we will be back next time we are in town. Not pictured - my husbands steak that was cooked to perfection he says. He ate it too fast!

Came here with my local guide, as it is one of her favorite spots to dine in San Juan, and I can see why. More of an upscale atmosphere, reservations are definitely recommended! I opted for the filet, ordered medium, and it came out to my liking! The service was very good and welcoming. If you come here, plan to take your time as this is no in and out place, more like an experience!

Henry was awesome and attentive. He suggested a wine pairing that was spot on!! the food was SO GOOOOOD!!!! I had lamb chops to die for highly recommend 💯
Vegetables overcooked
Uhh, the vegetable was over cooked, this is basic understanding of cooking that vegetables should not be steamed for more than 30 seconds, it tastes like water. And the salmon, octopus and sangria were very basic and below average. It seem the lamb is good.

What a flop!
The best taste of any local restaurant. Service, second to none. Expect your night to be a nightmare until the chef, the kitchen staff, and the waiters transition to another venue.
Forgettable food, atrocious customer service
The food is decent. Nothing mind blowing that I would recommend braving the other deficiencies for. The music was nice and the vibe was welcoming at the surface level. Sadly, beneath the surface lurks a pretty clear disregard for the customer experience. We were there celebrating our mom’s birthday and pretty early in the night, the waitress tumbled and shattered a rather pricey glass of wine on the table and her dress. These things happen. It’s what we do in moment’s of difficulty that defines us, as humans and as businesses. What the waitress did, after barely apologizing, and trying to brush off the incident and commenting that “at least the glass hadn’t physically hurt anyone,” potentially prompted by restaurant policies I can only hope, was offer to give our mom a glass of wine from the bar. After further prompting, and a reminder that the class she dropped all over our mom was not a glass from the bar, she spoke to someone and said all she could do was offer a glass of champagne. We had to speak to the owner who finally agreed to do the bare minimum and replace the glass of wine they wasted. You’d think some other show of remorse or acknowledgement would have happened when the bill came, but no. Instead, the waitress asked if we’d like to leave 18 or 20% tip. That is BOLD. I’m sure it’s the script they are given. Had she said nothing, that’s what she would have received. She then informed us 15% was the minimum (for a table of 4). It was a really bizarre experience throughout. The food, just isn’t good enough to erase the sour taste of such poor customer service. Clearly they don’t need the local customers. Plenty of tourists in the area to wander in and wander out. I’m sure if everything goes to plan people have a perfectly lovely time there. But a restaurant worth visiting knows how to ensure that when something doesn’t go to plan, they make up for that. There will be no repeat customers on our end. So, spend money there at your own risk. I hope you receive better service than we did.

2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* DistinguishedTree58, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* DistinguishedTree58 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to DistinguishedTree58 for any questions Peter may have as DistinguishedTree58 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* DistinguishedTree58 now uses their connections at Luisa San Juan to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If DistinguishedTree58 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, DistinguishedTree58 receives the $200 reward which is credited to DistinguishedTree58's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
