O Ya Boston Reviews
Amazing!
We had Hillary as our server. She was FANTASTIC! My husband had made a reservation for my birthday the night before and luckily we were able to get a spot for the next night! When we first got there we were un sure of how to get in but one of the hos
Truly incredible.
The ambiance is fun, the service was excellent (shout out to Tim), and the food is absolutely outstanding. This is definitely not your traditional omakase, but an omakase that creatively enhances each bite with new and unique flavors. Truly the best

My first visit to O Ya was more than a decade ago. I enjoyed everything so much that I would talk about it for years after that. I had the opportunity to return and Iโm happy to report that it is still good. While I wasnโt too crazy about the non
Amazing Tasting Menu
This entire meal was incredible from start to finish - the pacing, the service and the overall ambiance. We loved everything but special shoutouts to the watermelon oyster to start, the nodoguro with miso vinaigrette, kinmedia (one of my favorites),

The food was obviously delicious - I got 2 seasonal items (fingerling potato chip and the Japanese Sakura masu), so the whole dinner was 22 courses and so flavorful all the way through. I also got a sparkling Hana Awaka sake which was also great. The

Wife & I went here to celebrate a special occasion.
Each dish was surprisingly delicious with unique flavors. We waited with anticipation to see if the next dish would be even better - and it usually was! Presentation was great as well. Our server was very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating
Great! I didn't have any issues and the food was amazing.

Truly top notch sushi and interesting ingredients. Very good service. The room is very very loud, but the lighting was pleasant. We had the 20 course tasting menu for $295 per person. Value for money seemed reasonable for this kind of foodie exp
I went for the Omakase.
Overall, it was a great experience with a more Japanese style menu. We did a total of 20 courses. It comes with a preset menu (dessert included) based on your allergy selection which is very accommodating of them. You also have a few add on options a
Shout out to Tim and colleagues for a nice evening.
We enjoyed the tasting menu and pairings (plenty for us without any of the extras). Food and service were great.

Our anniversary meal was wonderful.
4 of us, one with shellfish allergy. Very smoothly handled. Service helpful but never intrusive. The many courses were terrific--highly recommend for special occasions (given $$$). And we enjoyed exploring wine and saki list, left happy.

I'd give this place 3 stars.
In short, at ~360/person you expect to be blown away in some way and we simply weren't and the meal just wasn't that memorable in any dimension. Theres a right price for everything and if this was more like 200/person it wouldve made much more sense.
O Ya has been on my Boston bucket list for years.
I was consistently deterred by the price tag and couldn't justify spending that much on a single meal. But after being generously gifted a birthday dinner, I can say I think it's worth it for a special occasion. The 20 course omakase feels like it's

I mean, it's not cheap, especially the wine list, but the food is like nothing I've ever had. Amazing experience, especially since I wasn't the one picking up the tab.
I don't know where to begin.
The sushi is unlike anything I've ever had paired with incredible service. The restaurant is very cozy with bar seating in addition to dining tables. Make your reservations months in advance!

Stayed a glorious three hours, waiting just long enough between each dish to reset the palate and build anticipation. My one and only suggestion: the dishes are so carefully and exquisitely prepared, the service is just perfect, the setting is warm--
Went here years ago when it opened.
Food, service, presentation, atmosphere was dialed. But spent $400 for two people and left to get a second dinner since we were still hungry.

Went here with my sister while I was visiting Boston.
As a disclaimer, I'm an avid omakase fan and have been to a lot of places, so I think my palate is a lot harder to satisfy than most! Case in point, my sister definitely enjoyed this a lot and was wowed by all of the pieces.I definitely also enjoyed
Hands down the best meal I've ever had.
Every price of sushi (or dish) is a master piece. The fish was very fresh and the highest quality. I will definitely be going back. The only disappointing course was the final dessert. It was extremely tart and did not enjoy eating it. Should have or
Connect with users posting reservations for O Ya Boston
AppointmentTrader is a community-driven platform where users can exchange their reservations or leverage their personal relationships with O Ya Boston. Buyers can make informed decisions using automated seller ratings, which reflect past transactions and reliability.
Each posting on AppointmentTrader shows you which user submitted it and along with that provides a trackrecord of that user which indicates how much experience
the user has and how many percent of their transactions resulted in them issuing a refund.
If there is no user posting that fits your schedule, you can bid on your preferred time.
Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to O Ya Boston at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the O Ya Boston page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* FluffyStar64, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's $200 bid.
* FluffyStar64 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to FluffyStar64 for any questions Peter may have as FluffyStar64 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* FluffyStar64 now uses their connections at O Ya Boston to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If FluffyStar64 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, FluffyStar64 receives the $200 reward which is credited to FluffyStar64's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at O Ya Boston!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
