Oga's Cantina at the Disneyland Resort Anaheim Reviews from The Last Year
Yes its crowded and the kids have to stand at the bar, but
Yes its crowded and the kids have to stand at the bar, but the drinks are actually good and its a nice escape for an hour or so
Do not do this. Not worth it.
Do not waste your time here. It is tiny and pretty uneventful. The interior is not worth the expense. The most underwhelming site in all of Disneyland. The waitress we had was amazing but all other staff were cranky and aggressive. Disney is over complicating the experience with shared spaces and terrible limitations. They need to run it like a standard reservation space and make the accommodations for parties that do not want to sit in a cycle of new people constantly joining the table. How is it okay to keep setting food in front of 12 people when none of them know each other? You sit, the these people join then new people join then wait there are more new people… all while used glasses and food sits from the previous people. Heaven forbid you go talk to someone, I got yelled at for walking over to chat with a family member. Waste of 2 hours and a waste of money.

My buddy signed us up for the waitlist on this and it turns out there's not even a standby line. The long line we saw on a Thursday afternoon were the ppl who had reservations. I'm a very casual Star Wars fan so I was just tagging along. We got ushered in and were asked to cramp in at one of the standing tables. There was a booth that probably could seat 8 where 2 girls were just taking their sweet old time so it was a little annoying to be told to just huddle up at a standing bar esp after a long day walking. I didn't order drinks but my friends got quite a few. I thought I would like the Bantha milk with the coconut cookie the most but the Guava Coconut Milk was by and far the winner! The blurrgfire was pretty good too. Drinks I would give 5 stars but ambiance and service was a 2 given how long it also took for drinks and we didn't get napkins until we asked. Wouldn't wait in line for this on my own. And they didn't even play the cantina music like in the movies! Lame.
Worst Disney Experience
We were a group of 18 placed at 3 separate tables which was fine. When my 22 year old son was asked for ID he provided his drivers license. As it was out of state they wanted to see a passport. We informed them we wouldn’t carry around our passport in Disneyland for risk of loosing it. Wanted to see ID for everyone including those of us in our 50s and 70s. Wouldn’t serve us alcohol as we didn’t have a passport. Ridiculous as we obviously looked old enough to drink. Manager very very rude. Ruined our experience and day. They called security as we were complaining about how ridiculous it was to not serve us alcohol. Manager went out of her way to cancel drink orders at the other tables where our family was as they didn’t have a passport. She obviously was on some type of power trip. This place clearly has no intentions of making it a memorable experience for people. Definitely not what is expected from Disney. Would not visit here again
The drinks were okay, definitely not the best I've had.
I think it's a good one time experience and it's the type of place where you pay for the atmosphere rather than the food. There was a waitlist to get it and my bf and I went on a rainy day so there was already less people. Still the place was crowded! They had to cram around 6-7 of us around a long thin table. Probably won't come again but it's a nice one time thing.
Drink was good.
Nancy, the bartender was awful. Rude from the start and told me she couldn't take my military ID. Luckily I had my other ID but no reason she wasn't able to take my military ID. Normally not a complainer but I'm a bartender and that was a very rude experience for a Disney day, on my birthday. Oh well, try again next time.

Personally, one of the most disappointing experiences at
Personally, one of the most disappointing experiences at Disneyland was this cantina. My dad and I were fortunate enough to secure a reservation, but upon arrival, despite checking in with a staff member on her iPad, we were told our name wasn't on the list and were rudely asked to leave. It took several explanations from my dad before we were acknowledged, and after reloading their system a few times, we were finally allowed entry. Without an apology, another staff member showed us to our spot. Inside, the room was crowded and brightly lit. We were informed that all tables were shared and that we had to stand. Our table was already packed with about 6-8 people, most of whom seemed bored and were staring at their phones. The menu was on a QR code coaster, and we were told a server would come to us. Despite a 45-minute limit, we didn't get a server until about 15 minutes in. By the time we ordered, received our drinks, and appetizer, we had only about 20 minutes left. Most of the time was spent feeling uncomfortable with the crowd. For drinks, we ordered the blue milk with rum, Takodana Quencher, and Jedi Mind Trick. The blue milk and the quencher were sweeter, which I preferred. There was a two-drink limit, so we decided not to order more. For snacks, we got the Garlic-Cheese Five Blossom Bread with Spicy Cheese Sauce, which was tasty with nicely spicy cheese and well-toasted bread. We quickly finished everything and left as soon as we could because, honestly, the experience felt like a waste of time.
Not mandatory
We expected better given the difficulty in getting a reservation and the other comments. To see robots or characters.... Well we drank something weird, nibbled something from somewhere else, we saw, it was still nice, but not essential

Oga's cantina is located in star wars galaxy edge in the Disney land park. Reservations are more difficult to come by, however, we were able to grab a last min one on the app and you can also wait for walk up dining. We arrived about 5 mins early, however waited 20 mins past our reservation time to actually get seated. We were seated at a large table crammed in with three other parties... I'm fine with sitting with others but it was too many people at one table. Once we sat down we waited an additional 15 mins to see our server. The drinks were good. I appreciate the mocktail options as I don't often drink alcohol. I do wish they had more snacks to order. The cheese was VERY spicy with the five blossom bread and overall the bread was not very flavorful.
This place sucks.
Not even worth the wait. Service is slow . We were only allowed 45 mins here and had to wait a good 15 mins just for the waiter. When we got our drinks, he got it wrong and forgot our water. We went to the bar to get just a cup of water and was told to go back to our table. Like we can't even get water?! This place is stupid and not worth it.
Place looked amazing but the bartenders are extremely rude
Place looked amazing but the bartenders are extremely rude and have nasty attitudes came to celebrate 21st and honestly they were a bust
Party of 2 with reservations.
They sat us at a table with another party of about 6 that we did not know, and we didn't even have room at the table for us as the other party had already taken over that area. There were several other empty areas/tables open so it was bizarre that we were even sat there. We ended up getting up and moving to a standing table. After about 15 minutes waiting for someone to take our orders we ended up leaving. It was not even that busy when we were there. Food choices are very limited. Nice to take a couple pictures, but that's about it.
Service was good.
But very over priced drinks and food. The quality of drinks and food was bad. Overly sweet drinks and food was plain. The ambiance was fun but I won't be returning.

It was aight! Positives: The atmosphere is fun and Star Wars-y. You really do feel like you are in one of the movies. I had the Outer Rim which was actually very delicious. It would've hit the spot if I didn't have to ~stand~ (See below) Cons: 1. The wait! I think this could be resolved if Disneyland offers more locations with alcoholic beverages. This seems like the only one available at the time which causes the wait times to be long. To get inside, you first must check in with the hostess and put yourself on the waitlist. Then once you receive the text message, you wait in yet another line to be seated - or stood, rather. 2. Standing tables only unless you have some special reservation. This was a big bummer as I was looking forward to relaxing with a nice drink. 3. Maximum drink limit of two per person, which was perfectly fine with me but might not be with others. 4. Time limit of 45 minutes. Talk about not being able to relax! 5. We were "seated" at a ledge facing the back wall. It sounds absurd and it was! In this case, the cons outweigh the pros.
By far the most terrible bar Disneyland has, it's very
By far the most terrible bar Disneyland has, it's very small, I came in with a group of 5 and we thought we had the booth to ourselves and then 5 min after we were sat down, the girls who bring in the people sat another party of 4 in the same booth & had us move down. It was awkward having to share a booth with them. The service wasn't great, the waiter we had rushed us the entire time we were there. We had ordered our drinks and he gave us our check right away even though we haven't received our drinks yet. I asked him 4 times if he could wipe down the table because it was sticky and there was just no effort into it. Didn't order any food, just didn't feel safe to order from here. I would say influencers definitely hype this place up, glad I finally came but I would never come back, not worth it.
Go on a not busy time even with a reservation.
Had 2 kids and they had us stand at the bar. Bartenders were great though
Disneyland time is precious.
Absolutely do not waste it here. Your time is better spent waiting in line for another ride. They dont honor the reservations so I have no idea why they even bother implementing it. They split up my party telling me that my bigger party would at least have our own space. Absolutely not the case and a bunch of other reservations went ahead of us. They were at least 40 mins behind giving us our table. No apology either, it seems they forgot we were even there and I had to go back and forth with their staff a bit. Expect to share a table, not once, twice but three times even. They sat us and kept shifting us left and right to accommodate to more tables. They took forever to take the order of our drink yet when it finally came, they gave us the check immediately too. The drinks weren't even good - one of the drinks was really sour, the other tasted like legit dirt. & Even tho they were late on everything they'll emphasize to you multiple times that there's a time limit for your seat. Disneyland, obviously your employees hate working here. Tear it down and put something else up.
The ambiance is fantastic.
However, all of that is ruined by the service. We all work hard to get our family to Disneyland. Juggle with the different tantrums from the kids and swallow when we see the price of everything. Then, it would be best if you had the timing right for everything so you could fit in as much as possible during the short vacation. We booked a reservation for Olga's, which was a 35-minute wait. That was at 4:46. We expected to be called back at 5:21. In the meantime, we used our lightening lane pass for smugglers run at 5:10. We have been on the ride before and knew that we would have plenty of time to ride it and return to Olga's. While boarding the ride at 5:08, we received notice that we were ready to be seated at Olga's. AMAZING! Everyone loves it when the service is quicker than the quoted time. We should be walking right in as soon as we walked the 75 yards from the ride exit to the front door. This is especially beneficial because we have a special needs child who has difficulties. Unfortunately, the ride was slightly delayed. We got off the ride, gathered the strollers, and started walking to Olga's by 5:30. It would have been okay if the quoted time had been in effect at 5:21. NO-SIR-EE... We stood in line and waited for our turn to be acknowledged by the host as she was helping other people in line. She got to us, and we checked in, and it was now 5:38. We were informed they give a 10-minute window from when they send you a notification. In our case, the window would have been 5:08 to 5:18. Then, we were told the manager allowed a 20-minute extension. So, 5:18 to 5:38. See where I am headed. It was now 5:38 when they spoke to me, so we were turned away. Of course, I was upset. I asked a manager to plead my case that it was now 5:38...the end of the extension. I did not think the manager would be so cold. I am paying extra attention to the times now...it is 5:39...one minute past the extension. The manager starts conversing with the host in front of me as if I am not there. I knew her decision before I could plead my case because she verbalized it to the host. Sometimes, customers like to be heard, but that was rude and unprofessional. No diplomacy. Again, trying to fit in as much experience as possible, we had passes for another ride at 7:00. The manager suggested we add our name to the waitlist again and not leave the area in front of Olgas. It's almost 6..., and the advertised wait time is 35 minutes....food and some drinks may take 45 minutes.... and... we have a pass for a ride at 7... It does not end there...We jumped through the hoops...rebooked...sacrificed the other ride...and eventually got in...You could tell the employees I dealt with, including the manager, were not pleased. It was subtle, but I could tell. It could also be because one of our kids is in a stroller/wheelchair for her special needs. They seemed annoyed by that. It is hard to describe the other little things about the service that all seemed related. Disneyland, teach your employees better diplomacy...managers, do better.....
Giving this place 3 stars because first of all it's Star
Giving this place 3 stars because first of all it's Star Wars, the ambience in here is always amazing, and some of the drinks are actually worth getting. Although the service here and seating could be a lot better. Me and my husband were here last night for Star Wars night , we joined the walk up list and waited to get inside. We were crammed in a little table (standing only) with a group of 5 other people. We were at the end of that tiny table, and the person seating people brings over 4 more people (mind you we literally have no room or space for more people because we only had the tiny half of this table. I felt bad for the people that came cause we really had no room for them. Our server forgot our water too which kinda sucked. Think I'll be back on a day not so busy..
We made a reservation as recommended and checked in early.
We were told it would be a few moments and thirty minutes after checking in, ten minutes past our reserved time, we were taken to a standing table that would comfortably accommodate six people. We were a party of seven, and there were three other people at the table that we were asked to share with! The drinks were mediocre at best, and the ambiance was crowded and noisy. Not what it's cracked up to be!!!
I normally don't review anything on yelp, but there were so
I normally don't review anything on yelp, but there were so many bad reviews of Oga's that I wanted to chime in. Nevermind that it's Disney and they'll make crazy money no matter how many reviews there are; mine is mostly responding to negative reviews from folks who may've not known what they were getting themselves into. The Staff at Oga's was nice, and professional. Yes, the hostess told us up front about the 45 minute and 2 drink maximum, and she said it with a a smile. She also said we might share a table - which it also says on the reservation section of the Disneyland app BTW - and indeed we shared a table...with some pretty friendly and nice people. F-u-n! The drinks were stupid expensive - which we already knew from the online menu - and we chose to pay the money. They were pretty yummy. Our server was quick and direct - he looked really busy - but he was also NICE. The environment was also cool. Cool enough to return? Probably not, but still cool. Other reviewers have written about their experience not being a "Disney experience." My experiences at Disney parks over the last 30 years have been mostly nice Staff, food and drink that ain't the Ritz yet does the trick, and get 'em in/get 'em out. Oga's didn't disappoint!
It is our first time to try this place.
Reservation is absolutely needed. It was still a wait . They won't entertain you if the group is not present. The place was sooooo sci fi ambiance even the attendant. We just ordered drinks to get experience. Overall it is crowded , loud and a bar place.
Good drinks and snacks, weird odor, less than ideal table sharing with strangers.
We were in Anaheim for a Disneyland Spring Break with our pre-teen daughter, and got a 9AM reservation. I should have checked the menu more closely, as this really is a Cantina, focused on the beverages and light on food outside of snacks. Our server was helpful and gave us some good suggestions. We each ordered a drink and a snack. The drinks were tasty, and the snacks were good. The downsides were an unpleasant odor inside the Cantina that lingered for our whole time in the restaurant, and the random seating of not one, but two other families at our table, leaving nine people, mostly strangers, squished around one table. I'll give this one a pass the next time we're at Disneyland.
Funny galactic cocktails and VERY nice appetizers
I went to see for myself the cool galactic cocktails that i has seen in the YouTube videos and did not expected much more. I was wrong as the cocktails were good but the appetizers/food was VERY good and with a galactic touch. I ordered a Fuzzy Tauntan and was expecting the fuzzy feeling in my mounth, which never happened... but it was faily good anyway. The ambient was super cool and the robotic DJ played music all the time. The music is supposedly selected by fans , so I will not degrade my score for it, but in my humble opinion it was boring. Be ready for a wait as it was packed...
Fun Star Wars Bar
Fun bar located close to the Smuggler’s Run ride. Came here via waitlist by using the app and since we went at 10am (it’s 5pm somewhere!) we were able to get in with a minimal wait time. We ordered the pretzel bread with cheese dip and pastrami cream cheese dip with bread for the four of us alongside drinks. I had the blue mylk with the coconut chocolate chip cookie - it’s made with rice milk so it’s fine if you’re dairy free. The pretzel bread was the better of the two dishes we ordered but both were solid snack options. Two drink maximum per person and they do have a flight. They did have some seats but the majority of the waitlist people went to the standing tables. Note that you’ll need to share them with other parties.
DON'T GO. If you must then go to Orlando version instead.
Pretend that you created a drinks spot that is the very opposite that Walt Disney would have wanted and you have now created Oga's Cantina in Disneyland. The staff was rude end to end. We literally left when I was directed to scoot in more at an already overcrowded table and maybe have my ten year old daughter sit in my lap. (we had ordered for her too so she should be allowed space). Ridiculous. If you want the experience, go to the one in Hollywood Studios in Orlando. Night and Day difference in staff and experience. Much better.
Avoid - terrible experience
Horrible experience we got up and left, you are sat shoulder to shoulder on a table with random strangers. We were sat next to a smelly intimidating group of teens. My son looked scared, staff wouldn’t move us. They gave our table away,
Great Atmosphere... Once Is Enough
I wish the service level at this place was higher. That would make a difference in overall experience and perception of value. Also, I wish they would figure out a way to make the seating more comfortable, so you are not forced to sit with strangers or to stand. I prefer to sit and relax after walking all day in the parks.
I do not recommend!
All the problems reported in the comment made by user Tracy T, continue to occur in January 2024. Located in a universe for fun for the whole family, I didn't find the place suitable for children. It didn't work for our family and we received rude service.
Wish I wouldn’t have gone. Not worth it.
NOT WORTH IT! Disappointing and I’m a huge SW fan. Very rushed. They wanted to shove my wife and kids to stand at a table for two. They accommodated us for a table. Very nice. Got to the table and waited for longer than we were able to have our one drink. I have a gluten allergy and we couldn’t place our order until the manager arrived even though I said I was ordering a drink and the drink ingredients are on the menu. I asked if there was gluten in Taun Taun because now I was concerned they were adding gluten. The manager came by and I asked if it had gluten and the immediate response was direct and firm. “DO YOU WANT TO SEE A LIST OF INGREDIENTS?” I replied I didn’t have to but can you tell me if there’s gluten in the drink because I didn’t need a manager to tell me. The waiter could have. She said it again, “DO YOU WANT TO SEE A LIST OF INGREDIENTS?”. I frustratingly declined. It’s not anything you think it would be. Not worth it. I was so excited to go here and it seriously underdelivered. I would skip it and I’ll never go back.
Stay Away!
We had reservations, arrived 5 minutes before our reservation. We were told to wait by the side and they would let us know when they were ready to seat us. 15 minutes after our reservation time, and after they had seated the entire stand-by line, we were taken in to be seated. We were taken to a group table where 10 people were already seated. We knew we would be sharing a table with strangers, so this was not a problem. The problem was the 2 seats left at the table were 3 feet apart, and one of the seats did not even have access to the table! We told the hostess that these seats were unacceptable, they didn't have any other option for us, so we left disappointed.
Terrible Spot
Worst ever!!!! We had a reservation and was told they never got our reservation. Even after showing them the text messages. The manager was unhelpful. The staff unprofessional. I don’t recommend.
Anaheim's Best Restaurants that are most frequently booked by customers of Oga's Cantina at the Disneyland Resort Anaheim
Great Service - amazing dinner!!
Read about the site in NYT and bought a reservation at Mother Wolf in LA 2 days later. Worked great and the food was amazing!!!
Worked perfectly!
Got the reservation (that I couldn't get anywhere else) and was able to entertain a group of friends at the infamous Bern's Steakhouse.
Got into Nobu Malibu
Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!
Very easy
Was very hesitant going into this experience but am glad to say that it worked out very well ! will definitely use appointment trader in the future
Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!
Great reviewer team
Just wanted to take a second to shout out the reviewer team. Even though they probably review hundreds of listings and bids a day, they still take the time to leave great comments and respond relatively quickly. Thanks!
Incredible
I got a reservation to Don Angie, which I've been trying to book for weeks! I am very happy with this service.
Best platform out there!
Super simple, easy, and fast to secure reservations for hard-to-get restaurants and locations!
This app is life changing
This app has opened my world up to so many wonderful new experiences I would never have the chance to have without access to this awesome app! 10/10!
Worked perfectly
Was a little nervous at first but was pleased to see that the booking went through flawlessly.
Highly recommended.
Success on Short Notice
Was able to snag an indoor table at Don Angie through an absolutely seamless worry-free process.
Worked perfectly, thank you!
This is a crazy holiday season in NYC and I was very pleasantly surprised to see that AppointmentTrader works! Will be using again!
Worked flawlessly!
Worked so well! I was a bit nervous, but everything went very smoothly. purchased the reservation, and got into the restaurant seamlessly.
Love this app!
So glad I came across this app :)
Quick table in Miami
I didn’t have my hopes high as it was a party of 4. In 24 hours I had a carbone reservation available! I was very happy as my family really wanted to come here
Prime time, great meal
So easy and had a prime time which I can never seem to get on normal res apps. So worth it
Got impossible NYC res
instead of waiting weeks I got my 4 charles reservation instantly
Worked perfectly to get into Carbone. So delighted
perfect
Worked well, got me into a restaurant with no availability
I was skeptical, and I still don't really know how they managed to find this hard-to-find reservation, but it was a win-win from my point of view, and I'll use this service again.
Last minute reservation for Delilah Las Vegas
Got a last minute reservation, dinner for 2 at Delilah Las Vegas: super impressed! The process was simple, transaction seamless. We had an amazing time! Couldn’t be happier! 😍
It works!
Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!
Money transfer
As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.
Love this app
Got to go to places otherwise unreachable
Easy Access
Very easy to get into one of the hardest restaurants to reserve in New York.
Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Transferring reservations is not supported in AT. Why not just use the name in the AT screenshot?
Buyers interested in Bern's Steakhouse: PLEASE READ
Same goes for 4 Charles and I Sodi
Prepaid Reservation Fee
Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
Congrats on 3 mil

Need to cancel a bid, not getting a response… how do I do it?
Click on "Take off the Market Option" in your portfolio
Working on your bid?
Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
Process after bid is accepted.
Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
