Pace Los Angeles Reviews
Great food! The pizza was outstanding.
I love the ambiance and the service was pretty good.
Great food and service.
It tucked away in Laurel Canyon under a general store. A nice restaurant for Italian fare.

Absolutely wonderful!! Exceptional meal that exceeded our expectations. Quaint, very bohemian feel with a very artsy LA feel without the feel of an LA ego!! Highly recommend and we can't wait to come back on our next visit to Los Angeles.

Was surprised with a Lovely dinner for my birthday here.
Had never been or even heard of this place, but so glad we went. We got the specials . Seabass and a lobster saffron cream linguine. Nothing is too heavy here which I like. And the tiramisu is to die for. it's dimly lit and a pretty tight to others, but still romantic Definitely a great date night or special occasion spot
Promised booth table outside .
Left credit card number to reserve booth and was assured I would have the booth. I just had spine surgery a few months ago. I arrived early and was told they do not reserve booth for anyone and it was taken. The food was mediocre and over priced. The menu prices were a few dollars less that what I was charged I noticed the next day so check your bill.
Such a quaint and cozy restaurant.
I've been here I think 3 or 4 times. I've had some items that I thought were okay, nothing too special. But tonight I had the salmon with rice and white beans and wow! That's their dish! I also order delivery pretty regularly from their sister restaurant Pace Joint on Sunset that makes some of the best pizza in the city. But tonight I decided to take a long walk to Pace proper. Didn't have a reservation but the bar had plenty of seats and the bartender made me an excellent cocktail to start. I think the key with Pace is finding the dishes they do right because you really can't beat the atmosphere. It's so perfectly Los Angeles.

So I fumbled on making reservations through Yelp, but the lovely hostess and host were wonderful when I realized my mistake. It was a Saturday evening and we know how that goes. They seated us at a communal table and quickly moved us to the patio when a reservation was cancelled. I so appreciated how professional, kind and accommodating they were. The world's gone crazy but these are the small moments that mean so much to me. It didn't hurt that I enjoyed an amazing pizza and our waitress was exceptional. Oh, and the butterscotch bread pudding was insane!! I wish I took pictures but it was gone in two minutes.

We came here by recommendation and could not have been more pleased. We came three nights in a row. The atmosphere is killer and the staff remembered us each time and was so friendly and sweet. One of the best restaurant experiences I have ever had.
We took our daughter there for her birthday.
We have been by there so many times over so many years but had never tried it. I am so glad that we finally did! The setting is beautiful, in the middle of Laurel Canyon. We had the salmon, which was nothing short of incredible. We're returning for Father's Day!

Amazing food, great ambiance - always one my favs in Los Angeles. Came to celebrate a birthday and it was perfect
I absolutely loved my experience at Pace.
If you want something nice, aesthetic, inviting, and artsy to go to then Pace is your place! Located in Laurel Canyon, Pace is in a very gorgeous area with a clear view of the sky. The aesthetics in this place are insane they really invested in good art and lighting which I really appreciate for the fancy feeling. Each and every one of the employees are very friendly and accommodating, you'll feel right at home. The food was so yummy, I enjoyed every bite of my food ! Can't wait to come back.

I had the BEST time here, the food and ambiance were top tier. Lola was an amazing server, so knowledgable and attentive. I recommend the salmon (classic) and the tortellini. A hidden gem in LA that needs more attention!
We came here as a family to celebrate my wife's birthday
We came here as a family to celebrate my wife's birthday and I have to say we are rather disappointed in this place. We made reservations roughly three weeks ago for a specific patio booth which my wife was very adamant about; so much she worked with the person on the phone to make sure the table was the one she wanted. We even altered our dining time based on the person on the phone's suggestion to "lock" in the table that my wife wanted. We arrived on time and were told very politely that we were basically S.O.L. because some regulars wanted the table 30 minutes before our arrival, therefore our reservation became null and void but they would seat us at another patio table that was not where my wife wanted to sit. I get it, regulars are the foundation of a restaurant but when you are go out to dine for a specific reason and want a specific seating arrangement (enough to require a credit card to hold the table) you should get to sit where you want to sit. That said the food and service was good but the chances of us coming back are pretty much zero. When one's going to drop close to $400 excluding tip for a meal the management should make sure that the guests are accommodated, if they are regulars or not. Also to be aware and not trying to be petty but the restaurant up-charges but does not state it clearly that they're doing it on the receipt. When I got home I actually went over my bill and discovered the prices on the menu were less by a dollar or two per item than I was actually charged for.

Every dish we tried was a masterpiece of flavor and presentation . I want to express my gratitude to Katia for her exceptional service during our visit to Pace. Despite a busy evening, she took the time to ensure that our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional.
Great ambiance, good food, great service.
This is a fantastic place if you have a date or a special occasion.

This is my go to spot in LA.
Always start with a pizza! The wine is incredible and you will fall in love with the chocolate cake.

Whenever you go to an Italian joint, you gotta start with getting a pizza for the table. That's how you gotta do the appetizers. I enjoy the pizza here very much!
My food was okay.
I wasn't a big fan of linguine I think. I never had it. I will be back to try other things because my bestie had a bomb lasagna and I loved it, we also had this wonderful Hommade lava cake. Their wine was excellent, our waiter recommended it and he took very excellent care of us. Receptionist was very helpful and kind, got some wonderful seats & I loved it, the vibe and energy! Can't wait to return.
Highly recommend this place.
Everything that we ordered was amazing. Baby rack ribs, filet mignon, Hercules pizza, and the cedar wood grilled salmon is to die for. Don't forget dessert. The chocolate cake served warm will melt in your mouth.

The food was great, the wait staff was wonderful, hostess could have been friendlier. Ambiance is spot on, love the crayons at the table!
Great food, great service, great ambience.
On the noisy side when the restaurant is crowded, but you get used to it quickly. Located downstairs in an old building on Laurel Canyon with a market on top, I've driven by this place hundreds of times and had no idea it was there. Had the smoked salmon on a plank and it was delicious. On the expensive side but good for special occasions, or if money doesn't matter.

We got the most expensive dish on the menu ( the prime rib) and we asked to have it as medium rare. It came out burned and the taste was not good as the meat itself was not fresh at all. For the most expensive dish as $90, it was a full crap. They put tables as many as they could in that tiny space inside the building where literally there is less than a foot between your table and the one on right and left of it.The food is not worth the money you pay..I never come back here again.

We had the steak and cedar plank salmon which both were great. We are early and were among the first in the restaurant on a weeknight, but our appetizer and entrees felt a little rushed by the servers. The wine we had was great but they were not great about refilling water. And my last gripe (and this applies to most restaurants) is that their two-top is really not very spacious. You put a bottle of wine, two wine and water glasses and there is like no room left, we couldn't fit side plates for sharing or bread. Also, the valet is sorely lacking. We had to stand In The cold for five minutes because he literally couldn't figure out how to drive someone's E-tron and move it out of the way. And we paid $14 for that privilege. Annoying.
Pace never disappoints.
The food is always so delicious. It's the kind of place you want to go for a dinner with your significant other or a couple of friends. it's cozy in the best way. It is not for big groups. The only issue I have is if you have to make a left onto Laurel Canyon when you leave. Now that we've moved to the Valley it is no longer an issue.
Incredible food.
Cozy ambiance. Great to bring guests in from out of town! Go casual or a little dressed up-- anything goes.
A+ ambiance.
Amazing, simple, but delicious food. Service is top notch. One of my all time favorites and perfect for date nights.
Every time we got to LA, we make sure to eat here.
Their salmon is great. The lasagna is the best ever!!
The best service and food and background music.
No snobby stuff just god door and service.
Average food...nice ambiance
I wanted to love this place but found is disappointing. The food was average and the service over zealous, we felt very rushed. I had lasagna which was a lot of pasta and not much meat - the one i buy in my local supermarket was better. The starters were better although my husbands soup was luke warm. It is expensive for what it is.
