Yosemite View Lodge El Portal Reviews
This was by far the perfect place for our visit to Yosemite.
Having no idea where to stay or how the park was laid out I looked at most of the hotels in the area. Some were nice but 30 miles away. I remember thinking 30 miles wasn't that bad. Thirty minutes, no big deal. But the miles were twisty roads do
Nice lodge for hikers . Clean comfy rooms
The room was big and clean. It has all you could need in it if you are self catering, small 2 ring hob, fridge, cutlery and crockery. The restaurants are expensive, one is a pizza place and the other has a varied menu. We had 2 wait 40 mins for a ta

Wonderful Scenery
I had a very pleasant stay! The view from the balcony overlooking the river was absolutely beautiful, and the location is fantastic. It's so convenient to be just a 15-minute drive from the park. The Wi-Fi wasn't as strong as I prefer, but

So much to offer- just need to tweak a few things to make it fabulous!
Picked staying here after much research. Why? Because of its close proximity to the Arch entrance and its river front location with kitchenette and private outdoor space! There is quite a bit to praise here- super comfy soft beds with lovely white b

Hotel was not exciting but gave us what we needed it for, a clean bed and great surroundings. The river on the back decks is nothing but spectacular, there is no other way to describe it. Having the ability to hear the river every morning is so tran
Not worth the price.
Good: location, free game room, decent pools and hot tubs (when they work) Cons: expensive, past its prime. Can't take correct reservation from Priceline. Wifi is the worst...don't think you'll get a respite from no internet in Yosem

Good value, Clean room, Nice pools, Expensive food. Recommended
Pools were very nice and usually not crowded. Room and bath was clean and the right size. Two restaurants on site. OK food but very expensive. Parking was free. TV and internet were without issue. Location to Yosemite was very good. Recommended.

Each posting on AppointmentTrader shows you which user submitted it and along with that provides a trackrecord of that user which indicates how much experience
the user has and how many percent of their transactions resulted in them issuing a refund.
If there is no user posting that fits your schedule, you can bid on your preferred time.
Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to Yosemite View Lodge El Portal at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the Yosemite View Lodge El Portal page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* 🏝️ @DistinguishedTree58, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's $200 bid.
* 🏝️ @DistinguishedTree58 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to 🏝️ @DistinguishedTree58 for any questions Peter may have as 🏝️ @DistinguishedTree58 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* 🏝️ @DistinguishedTree58 now uses their connections at Yosemite View Lodge El Portal to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If 🏝️ @DistinguishedTree58 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, 🏝️ @DistinguishedTree58 receives the $200 reward which is credited to 🏝️ @DistinguishedTree58's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Yosemite View Lodge El Portal!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
