Man with a mustache told us to get cookies elsewhere for my birthday. Very ride after spending hours and a lot of $
Be the first to ReplyEverything I've tried on this menu is truly delicious.
The burrata is probably the best I've ever had. The rigatoni is my favorite and have a hard time not ordering it every time. Some places in NYC feel overpriced for its quality, but not here.

This place is terrific- everything is delicious, the cocktails rock and the serve rice is impeccable- space design is pretty dope as well. You won't be disappointed!

Great spot! Food, drinks, and service are always fantastic! I crave the spaghetti Meg Ryan all the time! Today I had the corn risotto with shrimp and it did not disappoint! Really delish!

Came here for a late brunch with a couple of friends and it was very chill. The place is bigger than it looks on the outside with nice sky-lighted seating in the back. We got the wedge salad (3.5/5), jalapeño cornbread (4/5) breakfast bowl with veggie chorizo (4.5/5) and shrimp and grits (4/5). Everything was solid, overall a pretty solid brunch place.

Not only is the food amazing, the team cares so much about providing genuine and caring service to the neighborhood. Truly above and beyond. Thank you!
Be the first to ReplyI absolutely love this place.
Recommend the chicken nachos, burrata, and the pork chop. Their service is always great and accommodating. Their drinks are also always on point. Ambience is always fun and inviting... inside or outside seating-- you won't regret it!
Be the first to ReplyInattentive waitstaff, overall crappy experience.
Waiting with empty water glasses for like 5 - 10 minutes, trying to get the waitress's attention for another beer while she sat on her phone then went into the back without even glancing at her tables. After our appetizers came out she comes and asks if we have room for dessert. We remind her our entrees haven't even come yet and she just walks away. They forgot to put in our entrees order, and after another 20 minutes and all the tables around us who had arrived after we did were nearly finished eating we finally got someone's attention to ask about our food. They got pretty snotty with us, but did eventually give us an extra round of drinks on the house. Unfortunately what we wanted was our food to be there, not for us all to be super drunk now. $20 for a cheeseburger that doesn't even come with fries and the burger was TERRIBLE. Overcooked discs of mid quality meat, no pink inside at all, and soggy lettuce. It was just so bad. Not worth the price point at all.

really don't know how else to describe my experience here a couple nights ago except to say that i felt like i was dining in a restaurant run by somebody who isn't actually all that interested in food. one glance at the menu and i should've known something was up. in hindsight, it reminds me of a late nite room service menu, which feels like a generous appraisal. anyway- the food wasn't terrible, but it definitely wasn't good. everything felt so undefined. also, it's quite expensive, which really stings given the lack of vision behind the the menu and more importantly, the confused execution.
Be the first to ReplyReally disappointed with this one.
While the outdoor space was beautiful, 21 Greenpoint missed the mark with most of the dishes we ordered. I had the steak frites and substituted the fries for the cooked kale, but the kale was excruciatingly salty while the steak came out cold. We tried the crispy artichokes as one of the appetizers and it just didn't wow us, especially for the price point. The burrata with lavender honey was honestly the only thing that saved the day here. And if you're looking to eat expeditiously, this isn't the place for you. I understand that many restaurants are understaffed these days, but there was little communication with our server -- she didn't take our app orders until we had been sitting for about 30 minutes. I would reluctantly give 21 Greenpoint a second chance, only to try out its dessert.
Be the first to ReplyThe food, cocktails, ambiance AND service are amazing.
Couldn't ask for more! Will absolutely be going back. Got the nachos which are a favorite of mine, plus the pork chop which was incredible. Highly recommend those dishes.

GREAT GREAT GREAT - went on a Wednesday so it was pizza night and the pizza was delish. We had the meg Ryan (the group loved the spicy sauce!) we also had the Hawaiian and the squash pizza with kale. All were excellent. What really stole the show were the apps, the wedge salad was phenomenal and the artichokes and calamari were insane! The dipping sauces that came with the dishes were the best I've had in a while. Great atmosphere and drinks and wine as well. Will def be back!
Be the first to ReplyIt was just ok.
I'd say if you live close by it's an ok local spot. We came from Queens after hearing about it from the Michelin Guide and we were rather disappointed. A rude, rushed waiter. One of the reds from the Willamette Valley read from Washington on the "by the glass menu" and from Oregon on the "by the bottle" menu. I said Oregon and the waiter felt the need to correct me that it was Washington. Albeit very close, after research it is in fact Oregon (and the bottle even said Oregon) Why the rude correction? The food was ok, edible but nothing special. The martini had one sad olive floating in the vodka. We were forced to order our entire meal at once to "pace the kitchen." Maybe that's becoming the norm these days but really a pet peeve of ours. Because the experience was not great and we had to travel to get there, we won't be returning. EDIT: Once I posted this review, I saw my review from a few years ago with the same conclusion. We totally forgot we had been here before. Won't make that mistake again.

Update because just tried the pizza and it's amazing!! Get there on Wednesdays get that grandma pie
Be the first to ReplyI will go here any day they're open.
The food is always delicious. The staff is the hardest working, friendliest group of folks in Greenpoint, and the cocktails are on point. I'm a big fan of their brunch, especially. Without Prune open, this is a close second for favorite spots.

The Burger, tho! Perfectly done, two warm thinner patties, toasted bun, crisp lettuce, fresh tomato, just-right melted cheese topped their yummy burger sauce. Get the the crispy, salty fries on the side too with more yummy burger sauce for dipping. Will def be back! Next time I'll add a photo. I dove in so fast!

The bar area looked cute as well as overall interior. The pizza was surprisingly tasty as well as arancini.

Be the first to ReplyMy fiancé and I have eaten here a bunch of times.
The food and service is incredible! We always leave happy having had their focaccia and whatever else we order.
Be the first to ReplySeated in the back room table for 3.
It was a nice evening, their first night open since January. The ambiance was really nice with tee light candles around the room and dimmed light fixtures. Very cozy vibes. We ordered a salad, burger, steak and fries. All which were delicious. Definitely would come back! Our waitress also was so kind and recommended the bottle of wine which was medium body, red. Perfect pairing with the steak and burger. I think the fries alone was the highlight. I could have a bowl of those crispy fries and a bottle of the wine and leave so happy! They do charge service fee 3.50%, likely due to Covid times and restos taking a hit? We didn't mind of course! All around happy patrons.

Super cute restaurant perfect for date night or a small group. We ordered the foccacia with dip, nachos with chicken, apple salad, and gumbo. The focaccia was crunchy on the outside yet so light and airy on the inside. The nachos with chicken was a huge portion and very flavorful - I like that they used cheese sauce rather than melted cheese. There wasn't that much chicken but it didn't matter, it still tasted great. The apple salad was delicious - well dressed and all the toppings complemented each other. The gumbo was huge - I've never had authentic gumbo so I can't speak to its authenticity but it was full of flavor. I would definitely come back!
Be the first to ReplyThe food is good but the menu is limited.
Highly recommend the steak and the burger. Both are cooked really well. The cocktails are also fun. It's a very typical Brooklyn joint.

Only popped in for cocktails at the bar but I really enjoyed the atmosphere here. All the candles and cozy seating and friendly staff really made it an enjoyable time. Will definitely be back!
Be the first to ReplySunday brunch for 2.
Thanks to my friend Frannie, I was introduced to this gem for a delicious brunch after an interactive art show at The William Vale on a Sunday afternoon. First of all, the place is so design-appealing, with rounded shelving, a half-circle counter bar area, the cutest window frames, colorful tiled tables and gorgeous tiled floors, friendly plants. Even their outdoor parkette is well-design and an extension of their indoor area with a beautifully tiled floor. It really is a designer's eye candy! We both ordered the chilaquiles and added grilled shrimp which was phenomenal. I ate every bite! From the delicious sauce, to the fresh herbs to the perfectly crunchy (not soggy) tortilla chips -- every bite was a delight. I couldn't believe there wasn't a line out the door when we arrived without reservations. The vibe is chill and relaxed which was just what we wanted. Can't wait to go back to try other dishes and take more photos.

Excellent service combined with nachos to-die-for made this visit especially special. The mezcal cocktail on the menu kept coming and coming - probably because I kept ordering and ordering it. I sat at the bar. It's a good seat, too. This place did not disappoint.
