Eat what they tell you to eat!
They did NOT disappoint. Man, this food is amazing. Banging. Killer. We ordered too much because my Israeli wife was so excited. Therefore, we will be taking food to our Airbnb to enjoy again and again.

first, they are misleading with their website, just talking to manager, I. have no appetite to dine there anymore, plus the picture of the kebab on website main page looks burned and dry, so I am assuming service will be the same, like Ted Turner says any ideate can operate a restaurant, this one is example of that statement.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent food, dreadful service
We were so excited to go back this excellent restaurant after 15 months. 2 of the 3 of us thought our food was outstandingโฆ salmon kabobs and lula kabobs. Our friend who got the chicken breast kabob thought it was a bit dry. The service, however, was abysmal. Took forever to get our food, although there was only one other table outside and one inside. The waiter never came by to see if we needed anything else. My friend flagged him down to ask for more waterโฆ it took him 15 minutes to bring it.
There seemed to be 3 people in the back, so it is hard to understand why the service was so bad.
So Good!
Went based on other excellent reviews and picked up take out for my family and Iโm so glad I did! The kabobs (both beef and chicken) were tender and tasty, the hummus, salads and sides couldnโt have been better โ I particularly recommend the (sweet and spicy) carrot salad. Also the portions are so large we have enough for another meal. Lovely owner/operators, well packed take out containers, decent prices. Will def be going back!
Be the first to ReplyGreat food, huge portions
Got a to go order from here after a short walk from my Burbank hotel. Quick friendly service and fair prices. The mixed grill dinner entree was fantastic with all the meats perfectly seasoned and cooked. The dinner portion was huge including the tasty sides. Since I didnโt eat inside I canโt tell you about the ambience. Iโd order from here again.

Looking for middle-eastern food, we stumbled on this hidden gem. At first we were put off that there was no alcohol served (although they were pleased for you to bring your own), but as the food started coming out, we were most engaged. We ordered some appetizers, at the urging of our self-named โnoviceโ server. Notably, the grape leaves and fatouche were delicious. The mains came out and I must say all the kebabs, beef, chicken and lamb were delicious and tender. I was not a fan of the rice dishes; plain basmati would have been fine. Over all the meal was great, but quite pricy (over $200 for a party of 5 with no alcohol); even still, will go again.

A friend and I had dinner together a couple months ago. Obviously freshly prepared food, tasty, a bit different from other Middle-Eastern cuisines. We had a mixed appetizer platter, a kebob a lamb dish.
You can bring a bottle of wine, which we did. Great service, too.
an outstanding surprise
Several of us enjoyed a most memorable meal at Adana. Most of us had never tasted Armenian food and we all loved it!

We stumbled on Adana after shopping at the nation's biggest IKEA across the street. There were no other diners so we were a bit hesitant but the reviews on TripAdvisor were good so we went ahead and had dinner.
What a treat!
The Persian Salad is excellent.
We also ordered the meal that includes both ground beef and filet mignon kabobs. Easily enough to share.
Turns out a large portion of their business is catering to local studios. I understand the restaurant is busy on the weekends.
We can't wait for our next IKEA run. It will revolve around the Adana's hours, you can be sure of that.
Excellent food, great value
One of my favorite restaurants. Terrific value. Modest building. I go there all the time. My friends love it too.
Be the first to ReplyTerrific Persian and Armenian Food
Located in an industrial area of Glendale, away from the crowds of the center city, Adana has been hidden gem for over 20 years. One advantage of being located away from the busy areas of Glendale is that parking is easy, both in the lot and on the street.
The chef/owner is Armenian and the food is a wonderful blend of Armenian and Persian food. The appetizers tend to be more Armenian (and very creative with interesting unexpected ingredients, spicy olives with walnuts, for example). The main courses (proteins and rice) tend to be more Persian influenced. Both the Armenian and Persian dishes are superb. The portions are large and the prices are fair for the quality and quantity. If this place was closer to home, I would be a regular customer.
