The best food in town.
They are the nicest people ever. Great for catering. Take-out is available.
Be the first to Replythe best kabob ever! all the food tastes so fresh and well
the best kabob ever! all the food tastes so fresh and well seasoned. I've tried so many middle eastern restaurants in LA and this one is by far the best. Everything is totally well priced and you get a ton of food, enough for two servings. We placed a large order today and they packaged everything so well with no leakage. We will definitely be back.
Be the first to ReplyFood was so flavorful and fresh.
I don't know why I waited so long to try this place. I've been missing out on some delicious food. My only problem was I couldn't stop eating and the portions are very generous!
Be the first to ReplyAbsolutely the best Armenian food in or out of the Glendale
Absolutely the best Armenian food in or out of the Glendale area! The Shirin Polo is to die for! Everything is excellent!
Be the first to ReplyThe food is simply amazing and delicious.
The staff is also quite knowledgeable, friendly and willing to recommend things to try if you're unsure.
Be the first to ReplyOne of the best kabobs I had.
The food is very delicious and I believe not only they know how to cook well but they use higher quality ingredients.Next time visiting Glendale, I will definitely go here. Thank your to the chef.
Be the first to ReplyThis restaurant has some DELICIOUS food.
There are many Middle Eastern restaurants near me. Adana is a little further afield so it's been awhile. Sooo much better than what I have been eating due toConvenience. I forgot how good Adana's food tastes!!!
Be the first to ReplyFood is great!Service is ok, owner a bit hyper.
Have never eaten in the restaurant, always get to go. I've never been disappointed!
Be the first to ReplyAmazing food always feels like homemade every time.
IMO best Armenian food in Glendale better then Raffi's or Mini kebab.

***Michelin Bib Gourmand***Looking for a top notch Middle Eastern restaurant? Adana is certainly one of the best in/around Los Angeles. Recipient of a Michelin Bib Gourmand award, Adana is also no stranger to the Los Angeles Times 101 Best Restaurants list, ranking #73 by Jonathan Gold in 2017. Accolades aside, this place definitely lives up to the hype. Between the food and service, Adana offers an excellent dining experience.Came here for my first time back in late October for lunch. We were in the area, and I had been curious to try this place for a while. I don't eat Middle Eastern food very often, so I'll admit I'm no expert. We deferred to our waitress for recommendations, and none of them disappointed. Each dish we ordered was incredibly flavorful and delicious. While I have only been here once, it left a memorable impression. I hope to get a chance to dine at Adana again soon.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent vegetarian options.
Delicious falafel tabbouleh and hummus. Really some of the best Armenian I've had. Great service. No alcohol so bring your own. Highly recommend.
Be the first to ReplyMichelin gave it a Bib Gourmand, but I think a star would
Michelin gave it a Bib Gourmand, but I think a star would be reasonable. Just the side of Hummus and Salad that comes with the lunch have earned my heaping praise, and I've never had such flavorful Dolmeh.Armenia Eggplant Dip is awesome. It's dark and thoroughly baked, with no of the sliminess, and a slightly sweet undertone. Koobideh Kabab is moist and meaty without being heavy, a lovely lunch. The Abaloo Polo is "just chicken", but the marinade of spices gets all the way through. It's the only kebab that Jonathan Gold has ever praised, and it'll make you forget every other kebab you've ever had. And opt for the cherry rice every chance you get.I never thought I'd find roasted meat exciting, but this is some of the finest you'll ever have.
Be the first to ReplyAdana is the jam always.
I hope the dining room reopens soon. It's my go to, excellent food, not crazy busy like Raffi spot!

I can't believe I randomly found this spot on Yelp and it's one of my favorite finds ever. The food is really quality and feels homemade. Flavors are layered and with depth, and you can taste the care put into the creation of each dish. I rarely drive to Burbank (I'm in Venice) and wish I lived closer so this spot could be on my monthly rotation. Please open a branch on the Westside!

Had an appointment nearby and dropped in on a weekend afternoon. I was originally concerned because there was only one table occupied and the restaurant had very little character or decor... but the food was AMAZING. I was so surprised and delighted. The olivieh appetizer was a large serving and is the best I've ever had at a restaurant and the Khoresh Bademjan (eggplant stew) was phenomenal as well. Portion size was too big for one meal so I was lucky enough to have enough to take home and be delighted with the leftovers. The staff was friendly and attentive - I can't wait to go back!
Be the first to ReplyI'm having the left over chicken kabob from last nights
I'm having the left over chicken kabob from last nights dinner at Adana. I arrived at 7:00 knowing they close at 8, and reminded by the waitress while I waited for a friend. We ordered by 7:15 and again reminded they close at 8. Food was good, but not anything that can't be had at any of the popular kabob places in Glendale. The sour cherry rice, was literally rice with canned sour cherries on it. Waitress refused to substitute Greek salad for Persian salad with twice "no" She then put down the check 10 minutes into our meal by 7:45. This really put me off. I was not going to linger all night, no reason to there, but given the past COVID affect, restaurants would be happy for customers instead of giving us the bums rush out.
Be the first to ReplyThe food here is incredible.
A friend told me that the chef is very highly regarded-I'm not sure if it's Michelin star, but he should be! All the rices are out of this world. I highly recommend this place. The only minor caveat is that the actual dining space is a little strange and has no ambience. However, we all had a great time with a larger party of six and the whole place to ourselves!

ย Maybe we went on a bad night. ย My girlfriend and I were the ONLY ones eating there from 6:30-8 on a Friday night. ย The kitchen was loud with chatter and the back door open, so the ambiance was loud and freezing. ย The kabobs were good, but the apps were inconsistent and cold. ย For what it was, the price was too high. ย How did this place get Bib Gourmand? ย Did I go to the wrong restaurant?
Be the first to ReplyAbsolutely amazing food.
We ordered from Adana twice for pick up one time a big group another time just a random weekday family dinner both times great service and stellar food. Everything is so good. The staff was very helpful when I had to put the big dinner together they had great suggestions. The avocado salad, the fried eggplant appetizer, we had a variety of proteins all amazing, the cherry rice I could go on and on just go there and try it for yourself.
Be the first to ReplyThis place is delicious.
I want to say the dishes in the vegetarian plate, the babaganoush, the humus and the falafel were so fresh. I don't usually like grape leaves, but they were so moist and tasty. Even the tabouleh was not chopped small and they used large parsley leaves. They also added fresh pomegranate seeds!!! Five stars!!!!
Be the first to ReplyVery good! Everything I've tried has been really delicious.
..grape leaves, salmon, chicken, stuffed cabbage, and more. Highly recommend.
Be the first to ReplyIf i can give 0 star ย i hope they have option to give.
Everytime we call to order they always give you an attitude especially the owner. The owner is very rude and one of the female staff. Zero customer service and they will ask you to give them a tip which I don't think they deserve it because they have zero customer service. Will never order to this place anymore
Be the first to Replythe owner has the worst attitude ever.
I HATE that my office likes his food because anytime i call he is the rudest person to deal with. gives me anxiety just calling in to order because i know hes going to be mean about anything i ask for. in order to get his respect you have to be just as rude as him. so treat him how he treats you and see how he acts. his driver is the nicest though!
Be the first to ReplyAmazing food and service.
Some of the best Armenian food i've had and I'm Armenian. Definitely worth the drive over the hill.
Be the first to ReplyAdana, what happened to y'all?!? My mom came by last night
Adana, what happened to y'all?!? My mom came by last night to pick up food for our family and the owner gave her so much attitude?!! For what?! Because y'all mixed up our order with someone else's? To top it off, the salmon was very dry, and the chicken kebab was dry as well. 2-stars for the salads and hummus, yogurt, and red bell pepper dips. Adana used be a staple in our household, but sadly am not coming back for a while.
