Had breakfast there this past Saturday.
..did not have to wait long to get seated probably because there were only two of us. Didn't have to wait long to get waited on. Those were the only good things. Worst omelette I have ever had...EVER. WAY overcooked, dried out and completely tasteless . Waitress was ok but wasn't too subtle about wanting us to hurry up and order, hurry up and eat, and hurry up to to pay and leave. Yeah it was busy but I didn't appreciate the not-so-subtle rush job. Breakfast "specials " don't include the pricey coffee. I could have been ok with that if the food was even halfway decent. Which it sure wasn't

Visited NYC and it was a culture shock compared to California. It was difficult to find a traditional breakfast place similar to a basic Dennys or iHop. It was the first place where I found a good traditional American breakfast. The staff was super nice, our server Nick took really good care of my mom and I. Best service I had during my time at NYC.
Be the first to ReplyVery quick service.
Arrived and there was a huge line but got seated quickly. They took our order within 10 minutes and then the food came out within 5. Food was basic diner food but good.
Be the first to ReplyI went both mornings during a recent weekend in NY.
The food is actually really good, far, FAR better than nearby Tick Tock Diner (gross). The first morning, my server (a Hispanic man) was really friendly and attentive. The second, I had someone who stood staring straight ahead while I tried to get her attention for coffee and water refills, and she also brought my check over very soon after the food came, while I was still only about 1/4 of the way into the meal. Hence my not quite 5-star review. I realize the diner is rushed and has a lot of people to seat, but it's a nice touch when they wait until closer to the end of the meal to bring the check so as not to make it feel quite so rushed. Just small details like that matter. I had a cheese omelet one day; quite tasty, with breakfast potatoes that were actually fully cooked (you'd be surprised what some other diners put on your plate) without being burned, and the butter for the toast was nicely soft and spreadable. My second time I had pancakes, and they were delicious!!!! I highly recommend this diner.

I was staying at the Moxy hotel with my family around the corner from Andrew's diner. This food was amazing!! Yes, just breakfast but it was so good that we went here twice. The staff was friendly and they were so good at clearing the tables making the wait very minimal. Our servers were so kind and patient when we were ordering for my kids and they came back multiple times to check on us and refilled our coffees in a timely manner. Try the berry pancakes, it was freaking delicious!
Be the first to ReplyI was staying in midtown and felt like a proper breakfast.
Service was friendly and fast my veggie omelette hit the spot. I highly recommend if you are in the area.
Be the first to ReplyGot the Nutella French toast and added strawberries.
It was AMAZING! Food came super fast even though they were fairly busy. Only thing preventing a 5 star review was they're bathroom was DISGUSTING! They only have one co-ed bathroom and it was not maintained.
Be the first to ReplyI always thought it was a tourist trap.
Prices are reasonable n food is tasty. Coffee is nice and hot. Give this place a try. Always packed for breakfast

Got a broccoli and cheese omelette to-go for lunch! They serve breakfast all day which is amazing. The omelette was okay, needed more salt. But it came w fries instead of roasted potatoes. Eating in next time might be a better experience. Cozy diner w lots of options and friendly staff.

They had a decent amount of options and the price is reasonable. We ordered two cheeseburgers and a salad and the woman who took our order messed everything up entirely. When we asked her to fix the corrections, we were charged extra for everything.
Be the first to ReplyThis is one of the best diner I ever was.
The breakfast is very delicious and the waitress is friendly. You get everything what you need and a good coffee or a hot chocolate. Thank you for the good time.

Yum! Great little diner right across the back entrance to Macy's on 34th Street. ย This place was hopping and seemed to be frequented mostly by locals or those who work in the area. We've made the mistake of going to diners that are too touristy and are rip offs. This place is the real deal!I got a meat lovers omelette with a side of potatoes. We didn't have to wait too long for our breakfast. The omelette was perfect and hit the spot. Our server was very attentive and stopped frequently to refill our coffees. He was super friendly and offered advice on where to visit in the city. This is one of our favorite places for a no frills, good bite!!
Be the first to ReplyCame here before catching a show.
The place was pretty full yet my date an I were quick to be seated. The food was good an appropriately price. The only down side is one entree came out 20 mins before the other. I wish they would of came out simultaneously but all in all I had a good experience here. I'll go back.

We stopped by for lunch and were surprised to be seated right away. Our attentive waitress brought menus nearly immediately. My wife ordered a Greek omelette; I opted for a ham and Swiss panini on white bread. For a beverage, I ordered my go-to "diner" drink: a black-and-white milkshake. The milkshake came out first and looked great but it was far too chocolatey and sweet. I asked the waitress if they could make one with less syrup but she claimed it was the ice cream that was sweet. So I sent it back and it was taken off the check, no problem. My wife was very happy with her Greek omelette and the fries that came along with it were exceptionally good. My panini was a bit disappointing mainly because: 1) it was made with pita bread and 2) there wasn't enough cheese in it to melt and hold the sandwich together. It was as if the pita was first toasted in the press, then a thin slice of ham and one of cheese was sandwiched between the pita slices. So basically a sandwich, not a panini. My advice would be to stick with breakfast items.
Be the first to ReplyI don't know why this place has a 3 star average.
This place is amazing. Food is outstanding. Service is great. Perfect diner just like the hood ole days.
Be the first to ReplyClassic diner.
Standard fare, specials if the day. ย Coffee is good, place is clean and we had a wonderful server - Liliana. ย Pretty solid and reasonably priced. Give it a try!
Be the first to ReplyThe staff was pleasant.
ย The food was above average quality at a reasonable price. ย The cheesecake was excellent.

"If you have a craving for disappointment, this is it!!! Standard diner food is not a fair comparison. Sub par isn't quite accurate, especially to establishments that try but miss the mark. Being in a major tourist area , this being any sort of representation of New York City food is just bad for the economy. ย Of course being a new yorker I knew better, unfortunately tourists won't.

I was visiting NYC with some friends when we decided to stop here for breakfast one morning. We had read that it can get really crowded, so we made a reservation, and I'm so glad we did because the place was packed with people eating and waiting for a table. You could also tell people had to stand and wait for a while and there wasn't much room. We ended up sitting at the counter but the staff was attentive and we got our food pretty quickly. It was really tasty and enjoyable! I would like to come back here but definitely at a less crowded time.
