big disappointment for a one star Michelin restaurant we expect much better cold restaurant without decoration basic service, average dish, there was cartilage left in the crab and when we point it out to the waitress he is angry and no apologies or a proposal to change the dish is unacceptable for a starred restaurant. the trout was cold and the pork overcooked. there is only one toilet for both men and women or people with disabilities. only the price is extravagant for the quality of this restaurant big disappointment for a one star Michelin restaurant we expect much better cold restaurant without decoration basic service, average dish, there was cartilage left in the crab and when we point it out to the waitress he is angry and no apologies or a proposal to change the dish is unacceptable for a starred restaurant. the trout was cold and the pork overcooked. there is only one toilet for both men and women or people with disabilities. only the price is extravagant for the quality of this restaurant

Be the first to ReplyWell deserved 1 star Michellin.
I had recently had the pleasure of having dinner at Ariete. 1, Service - excellent - Alana ?? not sure that's the right spelling and her buss boy provided excellent sercive. 2. Jeff, the master sommelier, was super friendly and knowledable. I brought my onw wine bottle and paid the corkage fee ($75). I do not regret it, but just as feedback: they have a reasoably priced wine list by the glass. Why not publsih it on their website? 3. Food - Delicious. I will certainly came back!
Be the first to ReplyFood poisoned
I had a terrible experience here. In short, I was food poisoned with the venison dish. Had a very bad night and I am just starting to recover. This is the worst place I have eaten at in Miami over the last decade.
Be the first to Replyall of us got food poisoning. Poor health standards.
I went with friends and family and we all ended food poisoned. My brother ended quite badly. Not recommended and quite surprising that such a place has poor health standards.
Be the first to ReplyGood but not worth the price.
We did the eight course tasting menu. The food was good but didn't quite live up to the cost of $740 for two people (one glass of wine each). The flavors are subtle (nothing bold). Service was excellent.
Be the first to ReplyPretentious: Glitzy
If plating and presentation your bag, this is the place. Food decent and interesting. Waiter very knowledgeable about ingredients and preparation of dishes as well as being attentive, perhaps overly so. Was difficult to get reservations but it wasn't that busy upon arrival. I had fluke ceviche and my wife had oysters as an appetizer. Our entrees, venison and flounder were very nice. The dessert was a chocolate concoction called a "cigar," was also quite good. The "prix fixe" plus parking made this a very pricey outing.
Be the first to ReplyGo for the duck!
We selected Ariete because they are one of the few places in Florida to have received a Michelin star and one of only four places in the US that have a pressed duck. It is recommended that if you want the duck you go early as they run out nightly. It is quite the show and even better, it's DELICIOUS. Ariete offers a 3 or 4 course prixe fix menu or a tasting menu; no alacarte menu. We opted for the 3 course; which the duck course itself is very generous and consists of the breast in the sauce prepared table side, duck empanadas (so good), duck tamale (best tamale I've ever had!) and a lovely green salad to off set the richness of the duck. My first course was The Farmer; artistically plated and delicious as well. My partner's foie was AMAMZING! Dessert was fine; I'm not a dessert person really. The service from whoever picked up my phone call (to ask some questions) to the door to the table was on point. Smiling and attentive staff. Gratuity is included in most places in this part of the world I noticed, so I appreciated the staffs willingness to live up to the gratuity automatically put on the ticket. Our waters were kept full, our wine was poured for us, our table was properly cleared and reset for each course. When I received the wrong wine; the server graciously took it back and corrected the mistake quickly (often times a server will insist there isn't a mistake or make the situation uncomfortable). It was an amazing dinner; we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

This is my third time here in the last year. Each time the food is simply magnificent. I really enjoy sitting up at the bar. Great drinks. The staff are very friendly, which isnโt always the case in Miami. They are highly knowledgeable of the food and the preparation. Definitely a go to spot in Coconut Grove
Be the first to ReplyWe have been twice in a month
It is a wonderful culinary experience . Very creative and tasty food . It is different from anything I have tried before . Everyone in our group was enthusiastic about the food , especially the fois gras and the duck . Well deserved Michelin star
Be the first to ReplyExcellent Evening
What amazing food and service. We loved our evening from the moment we arrived, to sitting at the bar and then a magnificent meal. All the accolades are well deserved.
Be the first to ReplyGreat food and service
Delicious food. Went for our anniversary. Everything was excellent, food and service and wines. Had the wagyy short rib, the farmers. My wife had the grouper. I am going to come back. 5 stars.

Be the first to ReplyDisappointed
Ariete received its Michelin star and Miami was all abuzz. My husband and I have enjoyed Michelin starred restaurants around the world, so thought weโd try one in our own backyard. We brought my parents and booked Sunday brunch. We walked to the hostess stand after valeting the car and told them our name and reservation time (1:45pm). The host opened up a menu and placed it in front of me asking if we were familiar with their prix fix pricing. It was an odd greeting and very South Beach-esque. I assured him we had enjoyed studying the menu when we made our reservation. We were then escorted to our table inside the restaurant. The first thing that struck all four of us was the music. It was LOUD. The patrons were trying to speak over it. No one was succeeding. Wait. Shouldnโt the food be the focus? Why do we feel like we just walked into a music entertainment venue? Upon being seated, we asked our server if the music could be turned down a bit. She told us that the chef has set the music volume, put a lock on the volume control and thereโs nothing they can do to adjust it. This explanation was then repeated almost verbatim by the host when he was consulted about moving us outside. Understand, itโs July in Miami. Sitting outside is the last resort. While the music is piped outside at the same volume, at least the open air dissipates it a bit. Still distracted by music that is louder than it should be, we ordered our courses. The food was overall good. Not great. My Benedict was served on brioche that had been over cooked and tasted burned. My husband ordered wine that arrived after dessert. Service was average. For what we spent, it was incredibly disappointing. We wonโt be back.
Be the first to ReplyElaborate and fancy food.
Very fancy and heavy food. Lots of foie gras and truffles. Pros. The staff was excellent, especially Jeff the sommelier who helped us with a great Zinfandel. And the list is fairly priced. Chicken for two is a winner. As is most of the food and the portions are generous. Cons. Music inside and out was too loud for a restaurant of this caliber. The duck one of their signature dishes was good but other items were better. Overall, we would not return too heavy and fancy for Florida!
Be the first to ReplyDisappointing for a Michelin star restaurant
The atmosphere was great but the service wasn't - our waiter was unintelligible - lots of words but none of us had a clue what he said. Some of the food was delicious, particularly the little bread rolls (go figure) but most was mediocre. I had the truffle chicken which wasn't succulent. The duck was OK but it seemed to be style over substance - the theatrics of pressing the offal to make the jus at the table didn't compensate. We were a party of five and two of us wanted the tasting menu. It wasn't allowed - the whole table has to participate. We wondered whether to split the table into one of three and one of two to achieve what we wanted - how far apart would the two tables need to be to meet their criteria but still allow us to feel that we were dining together? The bill for 5 of us was $800. Not worth it.
Be the first to ReplyWOW!!
Went to Ariete to celebrate my husband's birthday while on vacation in South Florida and so glad we did! Everything was meticulously prepared, decadent & delicious! We started with the oysters & foie gras; had the pressed duck for our entree and flan for dessert. It was an incredible 'experience' and a perfect meal. Our server, Yvonne, was friendly, attentive and went the extra mile to ensure our night was perfect! We've just returned from vacation and were so pleased to hear that Ariete was just awarded a prestigious Michelin star- CONGRATULATIONS!! Absolutely well deserved. If you are anywhere in the Florida area, you absolutely must make your way to Ariete - you will be thrilled you did.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing Tasting Menu โค๏ธ
First time going to Ariete in Coconut Grove, we wanted to try it for a long time and we finally made it, we had one of the tasting menus available, this was a 6 course menu with a few extra bonus small bites for $ 105, we did not do the wine pairing, I have to say this was worth the wait, really amazing food, the flavors from the different ingredient combinations were superb, incredible creations by Chef Michael Beltran, here what we had : Wood Grilled Oysters (bone marrow butter/sea urchin butter, lime, chive) The Farmer ( almond & calabaza panna cotta, charred onion oil, seasonal vegetables, honey tuille) Foie Gras (sour orange temptation caramel, plantain pave, cocoa) Snapper (sauce americaine, heirloom tomatoes) Wagyu Short Rib (pastrami style, red pepper-beef jus, shaved vegetable Caesar, oyster & short rib croquette) Flan (candy cap mushroom, Sambuca crema, coffee crumble) All absolutely great @arietemiami For more of my favorite restaurants, places and more, like my Facebook page Naddiaโs Favorites or follow me on Instagram @naddias_favorites

A Miami must do. The cuisine is fabulous - Cuban influenced and delicious. If you are only eating one place in Miami, eat here!
Be the first to ReplyFabulous Experience
I wish I could give 10 stars to Ariete! The tasting menu meal at Ariete was one of the best I've eaten -- ever. And I'm not new to this type of establishment. From start (top notch cocktails) to finish (they gave us a serving of their famous flan because it we had asked about it and it wasn't the featured dessert for the tasting men), this was an outstanding experience. The food is creative, beautiful, and absolutely delicious. Several of the dishes really hit the "OMG, this is sublime!" mark (the fois gras mosaic and the caviar sunflower), and all others were pretty darn close. Even though duck is not a favorite of mine, my husband wanted to try it so we had the tableside pressed duck. It really was fabulous -- the complexity of the flavors was superb.
Enough about the food. The service was over the top great. Manny was attentive, very informative about the history and details of each dish, and was just the right combination of friendly and professional. The sommelier was adorable, too. He provided a lot of info about each pairing and answered all our questions graciously.
The ambience was lovely on the patio. Great lighting, enough decorative elements to dampen noise so conversation was easy, and just really pleasant.
I can't wait to go back to Miami so we can eat here again. It's truly a world-class restaurant.
Absolutely perfect fine dining
Had THE most amazing evening of my life at Ariete, the food was incredible the service was impeccable, the knowledge about the food and the wine was impressive, this place deserves multiple michelin stars. Shout out to the chefs who have put together some absolute culinary masterpieces, so talented and the servers who take their job so seriously and donโt falter. Simply amazing, if youโre in Miami get yourself to Ariete!
Be the first to ReplyDiverse menu - bring anybody!
Friendly casual service and atmosphere. Comfortable outdoor seating in a pretty but somewhat rustic setting. Two shared a roast duck that was excellent. The grouper and snapper were fresh and delicious. The wahoo ceviche was the only appetizer we dared to try and it was very fresh. The other appetizers offered as described were to hard to imagine eating. Cocktails were creative and satisfying. I would eat here again.
Be the first to ReplyLeft me high and dry
I made a reservation for 10 people months in advance for a lunch to follow my daughter's Baptism. We have family flying in from all over and I carefully selected Ariete and was working with the event manager. I kept checking in to finalize the menu because they said they were changing it. Midway through the process, the event manager told me they decided to no longer accept reservations for a group as large as mine without an event buyout, but that they would honor the reservation I made since I made the reservation before they changed their rule. I just checked in two weeks before the event to see if the new menu was out so we could finalize it. I was told that they would no longer honor my reservation and that I would have to buy out the event space for $3500 if I wanted to have the lunch at Ariete, or else I could have it at a completely different restaurant (highly casual Chug's, completely unsuitable). I am now two weeks before the event with nowhere to host my lunch; I will never be able to find another place on this short of notice. I am shocked and appalled by the lack of professionalism and will never eat there again. Don't book your events here unless you want to be left high and dry when they change their rules.
Be the first to ReplyImpecable Service Spectacular Tasting Menu
Foremost; excellent impecable service by Manny and the whole crew; starting with meeting the hostess, all folks very professional and friendly. The Tasting Menu is some of the best food weโve experienced. Truly an experience to enjoy, plus it was very fulfilling as well. We did not care much for the oysters; very small, expensive and bland. Their signature Yellow drink was mediocre. Stick to their house wines. We will be back for the Monkfish and other delicacies.
