Assembly Line Buffet Detroit Reviews from The Last Year

way over priced! not near as good as it used to be for a whole let less. what happened? staff is not the nicest. very dissapointed. probably will never go back
First time back in about 10 months.
New Years Eve $55 a plate this is like many reviewers have stated Old Country Buffet and Golden Coral quality is much better priced and more value. Sad to say but SOMEONE clearly has made the wrong decision to remove the majority of dishes they used to serve. With less variety choices to enjoy the buffet are minimal. The dessert bar shrunk as well. Don't spend your money on the experience just pass do yourself the favor.
You can get better and more variety at Golden Corral
You can get better and more variety at Golden Corral Enough said Not to mention the price Sad to say this was my last visit since I found leas than a cpl things that I can say were even remotely appetizing

Monday and Tuesday crab legs are back! They made the dining area just a little bit smaller to add to the next door bar area for the Sound Bar. The entrance has moved from one side to the other and they now have walk up machines for you to place and pay for your order and then a server will seat you! There's still a variety of foods that you can choose from, we like the crab leg nights along with the prime rib steak nights! You definitely get what you pay for.

This place is a complete disappointment and clearly has gone down. $55 per person on Christmas Day, and the experience is subpar, by 6pm, they had already run out of some meats, pepperoni pizza, oysters, cheesecake, and a few other foods, not to talk about the foods that disappeared long time ago, like crab legs, etc. The only available slices of pizza were not good, just dry. Service and a slow, ambiance is depressing, last place to consider when searching for a nice Holliday meal experience.
Not worth the price
The buffet had “limited offerings” granted they let us see the buffet before paying however, we had already made plans to eat there before a concert. There wasn’t a back option option due to location and our group size. There was probably just under half of the buffet available. The rest was closed. There was a small salad bar, some seafood, Turkey and roast beef they carved in front of you, mashed potatoes Turkey gravy, fried chicken and some bread. The best thing I ate was the acorn squash, a few other people agreed this was one of the best things. There was also a few dessert option. Our group of 14 did not enjoy the buffet and would not go back. In addition, everyone felt it was very overpriced considering the limited options available $29.99/person. I hate to say it but Golden Corral is better than this buffet. I will say the server we had for our group was great! Kept our drinks filled and made sure plates were removed when finished.
for the price everything was very good.
All you can eat crab buffet. The staff was tremendously. Nice servers very attentive. I really had a nice time. I would come back next time I'm in town.
Not worth it on crab leg day.
On crab leg day, do not go. 2.5 hour wait. Nowhere for disabled to sit and wait. Wasn’t worth $60. Crabs were small. Don’t like the remodel. It doesn’t like ok as nice now.
Although this buffet doesn't serve all you can eat crab
Although this buffet doesn't serve all you can eat crab legs like they used to, they are still pretty darn good. The buffet is self serve except for drinks which are provided but a server. The food is better than average. There is a salad bar, a soul food section and an Italian inspired area. My favorite is the Asian station which is complete with traditional dishes like fried rice and lo mein, sushi and a fresh made to order stir fry or ramen option. Another feature that I like is the carved meats area that usually has turkey and prime rib. You can then take your prime rib over to a chef and have them grill it to your preference. And yes... there are desserts! Plenty to choose from. Try it. You'll like it.
