Atout Singapore Reviews from The Last Year
Enjoyable experience
Delicious: French onion soup, escargot in garlic butter, lamb spare ribs, profiteroles Tasted as they should be in a good way: duck leg confit, braised beef cheeks, creme brûlée Restaurant has a lovely social vibe.
Highly recommend
I had a delightful lunch experience at Atout restaurant today. The food was exceptional, and Chef Patrick's personal attention ensured that everything was just right. As a vegetarian, I was pleasantly surprised by the diverse and satisfying options available on the menu. Highly recommend!
Very good
An excellent place with a good menu. The 3 course menu for lunch or the 4 course menu for dinner are particularly great. The wine was OK - great service
Atout is not a hyperbole
My husband and I had our wedding at Au Petit Salut in 2015, and since then we make it a point to enjoy a lunch there during our anniversary. Chef Patrick Heuberger has since taken over the helm, under the name of Atout since 2018, which means the trump in French, and his menu lives up to its name. This 2023, we enjoyed a 3-course meal with apéritifs and digestifs. Firstly, the outstanding Old Fashion and a surprising Yuzu Rozu cocktails. The Yuzu Rozu is very finely balanced, with the egg white for a lovely foam, a citrusy top note with slight sweetness for balance, and a bouquet of rosemary for the nose. We chose the lobster bisque and the grilled octopus as our respective starters. The lobster bisque had a foamy and light texture that was truly amazing. The grilled octopus sitting on a bed of tomato tapenade was so delicious that my husband had to stop me from licking the serving plate clean. My husband had the osso bucco served with a spiral of semolina. The meat was so tender and the jus had such a lovely kick to it. For the first time in my life, I tasted #realPérigord truffle shavings in my mushroom pasta with cream, with fresh porcini and linguini, and it was so clean, so divine, that I'm glad to be educated on how truffles should really taste like, which should be an ingredient that is used sparingly and well for the special occasion. Finally, to the dessert. I did not have much space left for dessert so I chose a single scoop vanilla ice cream. The very same tub of ice cream was probably for my husband's pair of Profiteroles, and I couldn't resist asking my husband for a small bite of his dessert. The choux buns were just right and the chocolate sauce that went with the roasted slivered almonds, it had such a delightful balance of bitterness and acidity. I'm very much looking forward to our next anniversary in 2024 at Atout.
If you want to go to a restaurant where the chef is always right, look no further. Donât bother making any complaints.
Pleasant surroundings, casual setting. Service not particularly professional and servers obviously not empowered to make any decisions. Some dishes were good but most a la crate dishes overpriced for the quality. Chef has a big ego and is not customer oriented- when complaint given about a meat dish that was over cooked and tough, the attitude was that the cooking was perfect, nothing wrong with it. No offer made to us to order something else or to re make the dish. Will never go back again since itâs quite pricey with mediocre service.
Rude staff. Dogs allowed but not welcome
Very rude attitude by staff named Michael. He questioned us about our mats being not waterproof in a very rude manner, as if we were criminals being interrogated. Dogs are allowed but definitely not welcome here. We used to frequent atout but wonât be back.

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!
