FYI: don't get this confused with "The Restaurant at Auberge du Soleil." Same location, different menu. when booking on their website, this is under "The Bar." WHAT WE GOT: roasted bone marrow, smoked salmon tartine, housemade campanelle, fleur de lis (drink) PROS: god the ambiance of this place is immaculate. relaxing with a touch of boujee. the balcony where the outdoor seating is overlooks a gorgeous view of the valley so definitely try to go on a day with cooperative weather. the food was also delicious. the smoked salmon tartine tasted fresh and the roasted bone marrow was basically a creamy umami bomb. the pasta dish honestly was a bit lackluster after the gloriousness of those two appetizers but it was still good. The bits of the summer squash and corn were my favorite and much needed to cut through the creaminess of the pasta a bit. Our waiter was also very attentive and updated us on the status of our order if anything was taking a little long. CONS: absolutely nothing. Great experience overall!
Be the first to ReplyThis is absolutely a super place to dine.
We have been there many times in the past and have never been disappointed. The ambience is wonderful, the waiters and waitresses are superb, and the service is outstanding. Highly recommended. I know you won't be disappointed in the cuisine, as it is more than outstanding.

Scrumptious. Relaxing. Thanks for making our anniversary special. World class customer sevice. The view left me speechless due to the panoramic spread of trees and vineyards. Food was satisfying. Service really was delightful, engaging, and prompt. I will return for more pleasant memories.

the service was excellent, our server was friendly and had the best timing with our dishes. we never felt rushed. the food was pretty good. their calamari is a mixture of rings and little squid's and cooked so crispy!!! i also got the pesto pasta. which was incredible. cocktails are pricey, ranging in the $20-30 range.
Be the first to ReplyI enjoyed my experience here at the Auberge Bistro.
We were able to call the day of and they fit us in right away. The parking was pretty tight but there was valet which was convenient. The food - in particular the pizza and calamari were delicious. Not to mention the view was breathtaking. The service was excellent as I could tell that our waiter was knowledgeable about the menu. Pricey? Yes, but that's what was expected for wine country prices. Overall great experience and will return again!

The food and service are always worth coming back for every time. We enjoyed their cocktails, wine list, charcuterie board, Mozzarella sandwich, and fries.

We came for our first wedding anniversary dinner in the bistro. We sat on the deck and of course enjoyed the view very much. Unfortunately we will not be dining here again, maybe a drink for the ambiance. We started with oysters and they were terrible, the white goo that you find rarely in some oysters that make them taste weird and coat your mouth... all but a couple had that. One of the managers came by to ask how things were tasting and we were honest and told her the oysters were not good. Did she do anything about it, no. Maybe comp 1/2 at least? Why ask if it ultimately doesn't matter? Then she never stopped by again even though she walked by at least a dozen more times. We also got the bone marrow appetizer which was good although salty. My husband ordered the NY strip, not the best, it came with tomatoes and blue cheese... but should have had something else also, just too one note. This place has such potential. With all of the amazing chefs in the valley, they should really consider listening to all of the tons and tons of feedback about the food here missing the mark so much. Not sure why they choose not to listen to so many bad reviews?

I felt like I was eating dinner on my best friend's porch! Impeccable experience however didn't love the menu. The sorbet for dessert was the best I have ever had. Mike was the best server I have ever had. A great way to start our Napa trip!
Be the first to ReplyThis was not what I expected.
Very very salty. Very disappointed in the food. The ambiance was amazing! But for the price, everything on the menu should be perfect. Salt is their best friend and every dish was soaked in it.
Be the first to ReplyAuberge is probably one of the best restaurants I've ever
Auberge is probably one of the best restaurants I've ever been to in my life. ย Stunning views and great, down to earth service from valet to the hostess to the wait staff. ย They were even timely and accommodated me a little bit early to make my Opus One tasting reservation afterwards, not just one time, but early! ย There is no way I would come back to Napa without booking this place at least once, if not more. ย This place goes down in the books!
Be the first to ReplyDinning at Auberge Bistro is always a serene relaxing
Dinning at Auberge Bistro is always a serene relaxing experience with amazing cuisine and precession service. Once you make that drive up the hill either valet or self park across the street. Valet is easier but cumbersome given the tight space. Checking in is seamless and always ask for a table on the deck as the views are amazing (especially in the morning). The food is Michelin level. Everything we've tried here was perfectly executed. The experience is worth the coin. Highly recommended but plan your schedule accordingly so you're not rushing from across the valley to make a reservation.

Great view and great food! Perfect place to end the day with a glass of wine and delicious pizza and steak.

I love this place, the food was amazing! The host and waitress was very nice and welcoming! The only thing i had to complain about was after dinner, the valet brought my van back with my child proof button have been damaged and my glove dept area was open. I have nothing in there anyways, but it was the fact that they brought my car with a broken child lock. Not surr why they would rattle in it..Besides that, love the complementary Wine tasting!!

My, my, my what a view from Auberge Du Soleil's outdoor seating. Don't let that distract you from the amazing culinary skills. The fish of the day was scallops and it was one of the most amazing seared scallops- so buttery! Also got the burger- what I call a nice and juicy burger, fries were perfect! Would recommend for a special occasion of any sort!

I called a month in advance for the fancy place, they said it was all booked and I got could to their Bistro instead. I asked if the Bistro still served Michelin star food and she said yes. Went there tonight for my wedding anniversary(!!), rude staff, terrible service, below average food.

Am I missing something? One of the worst meals I've had in a long time.Service and view obviously amazing but the food I don't even know where to begin.Calamari was way too salty. Too salty!Pizza was drenched in cheese that was like mozzarella from Safeway. Low quality.Cobb salad had no dressing and was otherwise flavorless.Super disappointing! I was so hungry too. I'm pissed and shocked. I would hope their Michelin 5 Star restaurant is better?
Be the first to ReplyI'd recommend this beautiful lookout spot for cocktails
I'd recommend this beautiful lookout spot for cocktails with your friends! Although we did not eat a meal here, we had some incredible espresso martinis with apps. The view is stunning during sunset and we were able to get access to the sculpture garden walk as well. It was a lot smaller than I expected but I loved the intimacy on top of the rolling vineyards.
Be the first to ReplyBeautiful spot with a zhuzhy atmosphere.
The view is gorgeous and the style is posh. Very good service for the most part, other than our serve lacking in knowledge concerning dietary restrictions and being late to deliver drinks on the first ask. Coffee was decent, mimosa was lacking, but green tea was very good--steeped perfectly and hot. Food itself was quite good. They do have gluten free bread but not very many options for those who can't eat gluten. The smoked salmon tartine gluten and dairy free was not great--mostly just a heap of cold salmon on dry bread with lettuce. Others in my party enjoyed the charcuterie, leek soup, and breads. I got the seared tuna sandwich for my main and it was surprisingly tasty. Others enjoyed the burger a lot, and their salads were satisfactory. All around a very nice experience.
