Already booking another trip.
Private- yet not isolated. Can be intimate. Can be social. My wife and I did a last minute getaway- and booked AutoCamp. We are a Queer POC couple. Best decision. Before arriving- my wife contacted the property and immediately we knew it was going to be a good trip. Corey (I hope I spelled it right) was GREAT! He had us cracking up- feeling very welcomed. Everything done with a big smile. We have stayed at similar concept properties and this was by far the best. Everything is thought out. We pulled up- entered the beautiful guest area to check in. Spacious and clean- with a 24hr general store available. Greeted by Corey and two other staff members - we had a quick and easy check in. Corey then showed us where to park and drove us over to our cabin in a cart with our bags and belongings. The complimentary firewood was great! (Other places usually have a charge for it). Entering our suite- we couldn't have asked for something better. Thoughtfully laid out - you have a private room, kitchenette area, and full bathroom. Modern and up to date, we had no issues. Warm water with nice pressure for our showers. Clean towels and robes to relax. Cute sofa to sit on while watching tv. Bed was so comfortable too! Storage space was great and the smallest things were thought out. Down to placements of outlets and light switches. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for our trip. Trails lit up with string lights which allows you to enjoy them at any hour. Entertainment in the common area guest check in. Games to play, sometimes live music. Indoor fire pit. Outdoor fire pit. A bar. A kitchen to order from. Absolutely returning.

Don't believe the hype! First impressions are everything and this place was a huge disappointment. Upon arrival we were greeted with an unclean room. Bed sheets were full of hair and the shower drain also had tons of hair. The towels were dirty with dead bugs. The AC in the bed area didn't work. The place looked and smelled unclean. The assistant manager didn't send anyone for a while and we had just finished a long ride so wanted to shower. We had to walk to the front to speak to someone and checked out to a much nicer clean place.
Be the first to ReplyMy husband and I booked the Classic Airstream.
While a bit pricey, it was overall pretty nice. A couple of issues- our towels were stained (had to request new towels), the couch and ottoman were also stained, the soap dispenser was broke. We decided that since we weren't at a hotel we wouldn't make a big deal of it. But for the price point a little disappointing. Not sure if it was because it was a holiday weekend but the campsite and lodge were overrun with children. If you're looking for a quiet getaway, maybe come during the week (we came on a Thursday, which was nice and pretty quiet but Friday and Saturday were very noisy). The Staff is friendly but overwhelmed. Getting food or drinks in the lodge at bar took an inordinate amount of time (waited over 20 minutes to be served during "happy hour" when only one other person was before me). Probably wouldn't choose this spot again over a traditional campsite because of the crowds. The amenities, while it does make "camping" more comfortable, aren't worth the price. And you're definitely not getting the customer service that you would at a hotel.
Be the first to ReplyCan not rave enough about AutoCamp.
Within one week I have already stayed at the Catskills and Cape Cod AutoCamp locations . My husband and I are now searching our next trip based around auto camps locations. These facilities were definitely created for folks that wanna be in touch with the outdoors and unwind from the day to day hustle and bustle. goodbye hotels hello AutoCamp.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing Labor Day getaway.
Our first time here. Have wanted to stay since opening. It did not disappoint. While pricey it was just what we needed. The location of our unit was private. Corey, who there was excellent. He helped us get all our things to our unit and gave some dinner suggestions in the area. We found the unit to be perfect. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom well appointed and the sink/kitchen area offered enough space to prep our meals. The couple suggestions I have to make love easier is 1. The units need some sort of broom to tidy up, 2. Better directions to connect to Chromecast ( it was football season) , post on the site that while there is a kettle to heat water there was nothing in the unit to make coffee ( maybe a French press would be helpful) and lastly have the wood supplier give dry wood. The wood needed for thenSolo stove was still damp this hard to use. Had to buy a bag of charcoal to o cook. Other than this it was an amazing getaway. Cannot wait to go back.
Be the first to ReplyRented a cabin here to celebrate my beau and I's
Rented a cabin here to celebrate my beau and I's anniversary. We have a tradition of celebrating our anniversary cozied up in nature together so AutoCamp looked like the perfect glamping experience. We are "nature people" but not the camping and "roughing it out" type, ya know? I didn't realize our reservation was for an "accessible" cabin when I booked it but no harm, no foul. Only thing that was weird was the "accessible" shower. The shower curtains were dirty (the clear liner) and definitely needed to be replaced. We were only there for a few days so we didn't waste time complaining-- was just something to note. We also noticed a lot of fruit flies which probably meant that garbage had been sitting for awhile before arrived? Not sure. Everything else was really clean and tidy. The bed sheets were clean and bed was comfy. Another PLUS: we arrived to a sweet note wishing us a happy anniversary and a smore's kit (which we used and loved!) Overall, we really enjoyed our experience. Everyone was SUPER friendly. It had an outdoorsy, glamping hotel vibe. There are games, a bar, a restaurant to order food from if need be, and a little shop for healthy snacks and smores kits. There's even a happy hour with pretty good beer and wine selections. We were able to get wood and firestarter at location so we didn't need to haul it from "off campus"-- that was super convenient, especially because you can just charge things to your room (like a hotel). I would definitely return here in the Fall, I'm sure it's beautiful with the foliage.
Be the first to Replyfirst time going glamping and i quite liked it! pros:
first time going glamping and i quite liked it! pros: -the airstreams are soooo cute! and the space is well-decorated. -helpful staff: we locked ourselves out by accident and they quickly gave us another key card. they also help campers start fires in case they needed help (we didn't need help, but it's good to know that they do). cons: -extremely weak water pressure, the hot shower that i was looking forward to after being drenched by the summer t-storm was very unsatisfying. -sofa wasn't thoroughly cleaned: it had lots of dog hair on it and the person who was sleeping on the sofa bed was reasonably icked out. -not many bikes were available for use: i thought i saw 7-8 bikes on social media but i've only seen like 2 on site. i also think that with the fire pit being the only way to cook food, it'd be really helpful to have a big umbrella of some sort to prop up over the outdoor area while we cooked in case of a huge rain. nevertheless, it was a pretty good experience and i'd like to go back again!
Be the first to ReplyWe had an amazing time while visiting.
Our airstream was clean and very comfortable. The wait was a bit longer than expected but the staff was wonderful. Angela, helped us out throughout our stay and she made sure we had everything we needed. I suggest staying for a couple of days to get the best out of the experience. There are so many options for hiking nearby. It is the Catskills. Also, you can visit Woodstock or Hudson which are great places with restaurants and shops. We visited the town of Saugerties for the first time after a day of hiking. We are so excited to come back or even visit the other locations.
Be the first to ReplyAutocamp was quite beautiful but I found their air steamer
Autocamp was quite beautiful but I found their air steamer to be dirty, when I entered my room / airstreamer i found that there was unflushed urine in the rest room , later I found clothing thrown behind the Fulton . It was frustrating knowing that I paid all this money for a room that was not ready . The main lobby is quite nice and it's probably the only reason I'd want to return but more than likely wouldn't .

The moment you walk in with a dog your made to sign a dog policy form (fair totally get it) but it's not fair when they allow big dogs to walk around off leash but that's a part of there dog policy.... Their 350$ policy nice. Listen I love dogs. But if you're telling me my 12 pound dog can't walk around without a leash but a fucking lab can... never again. And I have video and pictures as evidence. Don't stay here if you have a small dog.
Be the first to ReplyWanted to give this place 5 stars but there were a couple
Wanted to give this place 5 stars but there were a couple of issues. The bad: they weren't ready for any of the guests to check in and everyone had to wait. We waited an hour, then went back to the check-in line and explained we had 3 restless very young children with us and they then gave us our airstream. This seems to be an ongoing complaint judging by the reviews on other platforms. Rooms should be ready, guests are tired from travel and don't want to sit around for an hour waiting. Some people waited much longer.Second issue, when we went into the airstream I took a towel down and it was filthy, like they didn't replace the towels with fresh ones. Really off-putting and not something guests want to see, makes you question the cleanliness of everything else like the bedsheets etc. i texted the help desk number and they brought new towels right away but still yuck. cast iron skillet they provided was dirty and had crumbs in it, we had to wash it ourselves. When you charge as much as you do, people expect cleanliness to a certain degree. It's not enough to be a novelty. We paid extra money to be located in the private area which wasn't anymore private at all but just a longer walk, however this could be bc we went in the winter when the foliage is sparse so perhaps it's more private during the summer. I don't believe they are handicap accessible, the tiny houses may be but I didn't see a ramp but they may have ramps that are portable. You can't drive up to the airstream which is a good thing but be prepared to lug your stuff, it's not far, maybe a 4 minute walk to farthest section and they provide carts. The good: the staff was very welcoming and they gave us free drink vouchers for the check in wait. The club house area is nice and has games and TVs and a fireplace and Is quite cozy. The airstreams themselves have everything you need and more than adequate space for what it is. Was pleasantly surprised by the walk in shower and bathroom area of the airstream, quite roomy. We are a family of 5 with a 6 year old and two 3 year olds. Two kids fit on the fold out bed nicely, the third child we brought our own small collapsible cot for and that was fine. The adults slept in the bedroom and we were comfortable. We did use the firepit which doubles as a grill and made breakfast in the morning. What they have: They provide in and outside of the airstream the following: blow dryer, four chairs, firepit with grill top, mixing bowls, glasses, bowls, dishes, trivet, cast iron pan, bbq utensil kit, utensils, coffee which must be made in the French press or you can grab a free cup at the club house, tea, electric hot water kettle, wooden match sticks, robes, towels, pillows, blankets, sheets for both the regular bed and the pullout, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, Pyrex glass square casserole, fold out tv dinner tables, chargeable lantern and other things. Free hot chocolate in the club house. Firewood available to purchase from them for 15 dollars a bundle, we brought our own. The club house has food you can buy. It is definitely "glamping" you won't feel stranded. The price chopper super market is five minutes up the road and the town of Saugerties has restaurants and shops.Hopefully they work out their kinks.
Be the first to ReplySuch a fun experience! We rented a 30' Airstream trailer
Such a fun experience! We rented a 30' Airstream trailer for the weekend in December. It was soo airy and clean. The mattress is super comfy. We were both super excited to spend the night there. The main clubhouse was huge and had tons of seating from couches, to loungers, to chairs. We sat outside at the fire ring which was really nice on a super cold night. It was a gas fire pit; not wood burning so you don't get the sounds of cracking wood but you also don't smell like burnt wood. In the morning they had delish coffee and granola for guests. Plus they had some other items you could pay for. My boyfriend and I both ordered a hot breakfast which was affordable and delicious. I will be back!
Be the first to ReplySo this was my first time glamping, and I would say I'm
So this was my first time glamping, and I would say I'm looking forward to going back! What I loved:- Service was very friendly. We were greeted immediately when we arrived, and introduced to the events happening that night and the next day. Keys were given quickly. The check in process was quick and smooth.- The Lobby is one gigantic open space. I couldn't get a cell signal in the lobby, but as soon as I stepped outside I had a signal. Did they block cell signal? Kinda cool if they did.- Airstreams were immaculate. Kudos to the clean team. Some nice to haves:- The fire pit behind the Lobby isn't really that strong enough on autumn nights.- A ping pong table would've been pretty cool.Tips if you're going:- There is full blown grocery store only about an 8-10 minute drive. They sell firewood as well. So I would suggest not needing to bring everything. You can simply just buy as you go if you plan on doing a lot of outdoor cooking.- The water pressure in the Airstream showers are pretty weak. If you're a female with long hair this might be an issue. The Lobby has showers, and towels as well.- This applies I think in the Autumn and Winter months... it gets darker earlier. Check in is at 4pm. Start that fire first thing if you plan on cooking outside for dinner!- The heater in our airstream was pretty loud whenever it turned off. Made this loud clicking noise. They offered free earplugs, but a pillow over the head did the trick as well.Suggestions to management:- Stock the grocery store with some really great instant noodles. And perhaps some Asian food items.- Have available cabins/tents/airstreams with mini tent garages that have golf carts for you to use.- A dog park maybe for all the dogs to play together?I would say this though... it was an internal struggle between the outdoor camp life which was what I was looking for, but seemingly always pushing for more creature comforts. Confused emotions!
Be the first to ReplyWe randomly booked a night here.
As we arrived for check in, we were told our Airstream wasn't ready yet. They mentioned they would text us. Unfortunately they didn't, and we waited over two hours to be let in. The main club house area was beautiful, modern clean, and had fireplaces to sit at. We bought a beer, and waited a bit longer. We finally asked the front desk if they were ready for us, and they gave us our key, and told us someone was going to check. We walked are stuff over to the Airstream and eventually let ourselves in, because, well nothing seemed to be happening. To our delight the cabin was clean, sunny, airy and luxurious. The shower was big and had the yummiest of soaps. Complimentary dura flame logs and coffee. The tv was odd to work, but my husband figured it out. The bedding was soft, smelled lovely and we slept like babies. We wish we could have stayed longer, or at least have had been let into the cabin on time. Check in is 4pm, we were let in around 6pm, and check out was an early 10am! Breakfast was yummy granola, and coffee. It was peaceful quiet and cozy. We can't wait to go back and have a longer stay. I am sure once the place works the check in kinks out it will be spot on. It's just great!
Be the first to ReplyWe relaxed, hiked, and enjoyed the quiet outside away from
We relaxed, hiked, and enjoyed the quiet outside away from city life. Liked ยท The staff service was exceptional and responsive. The Tent was comfortable and clean. We were able to relax and felt safe. The staff was very knowledgeable about the experiences/adventures the Autocamp offered. We would have liked pamphlets about local sites or activities. Also, it would be nice if the location had at least one day and one evening activity/game for campers to join in.
Be the first to ReplyOverall an amazing experience.
I will ABSOLUTELY be back. This is the only way I will camp going forward. Everything looked even better than their posted photos. The airstream was so upscale, what a luxurious experience, super clean and no bugs. I loved the clubhouse and the shower, bed, stove/ fire pit of the airstream. The s'mores were the best I've ever had, you NEED to get the s'mores from their store in the clubhouse. Love that they had everything you need to camp at the clubhouse. Wi-Fi was fast. I plan on coming back up to work for a week or so. Very safe location. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Keep in mind they just opened in June 2022 so be patient, but so far, they're killing it. I love this concept. Great location close to Saugarites, woodstock and Kingston. Two hours from NYC. Cannot beat Autocamp - Catskills. This is a hidden secret, but will not be hidden for long. Jump on it. The price is worth it.
