Bouncers are very rude
Same as other reviews. Refused entry, bouncers are extremely rude. Asked where we had been before hand and then told to go to a bar up the road.
Be the first to ReplyStag Group well looked after.
Booked a stag group in for the evening. Lester, the Manager looked after us really well, had an area for us ready. Bar men were brilliant and jaeger trains went down a treat. All staff very friendly, music was great. Would definitely recommend for groups/gatherings. Thanks again Lester!

AVOID!!! Unbelievably RUDE to me a 20 year old and my 87 year old grandad!! OUTRAGEOUS behaviour turning us away for NO REASON
Be the first to ReplyLovely inside
Once inside the pub was lovely, good customer service and fantastic atmosphere, however when we first arrived the bouncers gave us an unsure look before we went in and no idea why! It almost seemed as they were going to.dah we couldn't come in.. no idea why.

Good vibe, expensive drinks, but that’s like most the bars in the centre. Very busy and popular, just about managed to get a seat. Didn’t try the food. They had a good singer on!
Be the first to ReplyGood Guinness Bad Wine
This bar is in the lively Temple Bar area of Dublin, and is set out over several floors. We visited on a Sunday evening and only the ground floor pub type area was open. My partner had a Guinness which was very good. I had a small bottle of white wine which was very poor quality.

AVOID!!!!! Thanks bounces for man handling me and my daughters for no reason what’s so ever!!!!!! Then lie you even did it!!! Seems there lots of reviewers about the issues! Seems they don’t like the English
Be the first to ReplyBOUNCERS ARE EVIL HERE
AVOID!!!!!!! We attended her for my birthday. The place was way too busy and I’m sure over the amount of people that’s allowed. As me and my daughters were leaving one of the bouncers pushed me to the floor and held me down. Then got off me and did the same to my daughter. He pulled her top up and felt her breast! He pushed his forearm against her throat and another bouncer called Mike pulled him off. They all stick together and lie, saying it was our fault! I’ve never been treated like this I’m my life and to see my Daughter get attacked like this was petrifying. We did absolutely nothing wrong. I was just walking out the club.
Be the first to ReplyDont understand doormen turning away decent people I dunno maybe cos they dont 'fit' their customer stereotype. Business tough e
Really like this bar. Well run and great live music. However tonite Thurs 2nd March staying in hotel Temple bar for business meeting Friday and present to door Bad Bobs at 11pm. Im 50s dressed conservatively+sober. Dark bearded and bald reddish doormen tell me 'maybe across the road'. I didnt know what to say only ok thanks lads. Spoiled my nite.
Be the first to ReplyGreat venue with live music
We went to Bad Bobs as two galls who just wanted to listen to some live music and have a pint (Sunday). We didn't expect the quality of artist, the atmosphere and the staff to be so great! Overall great experience, they don't drive up the prices. No additional fee to get in. Just a good pub, nice beers and even better music.
Be the first to ReplyNo under 21s!
Came to Dublin for my 20th to be told we can’t get in if under 21 just as everywhere else apparently is. Wouldn’t bother with Dublin unless you’ve already taken out your pension and a second mortgage to pay for everything!
Be the first to ReplyFun yet cosy pub in a good neighbourhood
Our experience here was great and we enjoyed a good pint and delicious (and generous) food that was tapas-style (Guinness Tacos (e.9), beef sliders (e.8)). Really cosy with nice music, good lighting, and great decor. Very friendly staff, including bouncers. Yes, it's not a traditional Irish Pub, but what is in this neighbourhood?
Be the first to ReplyAvoid the place
Bouncers didn't let me to go inside, also after explaining that I have friends inside, because "it wasn't my evening", this is the only explanation they gave to me, very rude. I waited one hour outside to understand if I had to wait maybe, but nothing changed. Stay clear form this place if you don't want unpleasant discriminations.
Be the first to ReplySTAY CLEAR
Went to the doors bouncer wouldn’t allow us in, didn’t give us a reason just started laughing at us. We were sober and looking at them weirdly as if they were messing. They weren’t, bouncers need a bit of training on how to deal with the public, I would suggest to anyone wanting to come to Dublin to steer clear from this place.

The atmosphere and live music were incredible and it's the best mix between a pub and a place to dance. Definetely the place where I spent my best evening in Dublin.
Be the first to ReplyLegendary Lucas
Amazing services from the bar staff as always, they always provides a top tier service with a smile. It is an absolute delight to be served by Lucas each time I am there he knows how to make the best Raspberry Caprinhi and Blue vodka Kamikazis
Be the first to ReplyDisappointed - extremely rude staff ( 4th July 2022)
Very disappointed in how the staff delt with us, James (eyebrow piercing) and Johnny ( working 4th July) told us to finish our drinks which we did (we had three drinks in total). They told us they they were stopping service at 12pm yet continued to allow other people in at 12.30. Extremely unprofessional considering there were people at a worse state being allowed in infront of us. Very rude and disappointing. Probably the worse experience we ever had with bouncers before and we only left 20mins ago. If I could, I would give zero stars.

This is a great fun bar. Good drinks all round and there was a live singer who was great. Lots of bar staff so really easy to get a drink. I will be back.
Be the first to ReplyMusic every night and great food.
Loved it. Great staff. Great food. Great atmosphere. Great night. Lots of fun and loud. Perfect for Temple bar and in easy reach of everything else that’s in the area. Cocktails are magnificent.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent venue with great food
I was part of a 16 person group who had a booking for Bad Bobs on Friday 3rd June. Sufficient tables had been reserved to accommodate 4 x 4 (in a row). This set up, along with excellent for platters (for 4 to share); along with the live music made this a memorable visit. My thanks to the Staff for looking after us so well.
Be the first to ReplyArrogance
Just horrible. This place came recommended by a local. Worst experience of our trip to Ireland. The front door people were arrogant, as if we weren’t good enough. I’d give them zero stars if I could! STAY AWAY!
Be the first to ReplyCouples trip
On a couples trip to Dublin we ended up coming here every day! We loved the live music and all the singers were really talented. Drinks were quite reasonably priced and we loved the atmosphere.
Be the first to ReplyGreat Atmosphere, Live Music and Many Floors to Explore
Visited here on our first night in Dublin and having visited a number of the temple bar area pubs, this was one of our favourites. Great atmosphere and music and you could walk around the varied floors where there was a cocktail bar on floor 2 and some sports screens if your party wanted something different. The roof terrace was closed off so we didn’t get to see that.

I am a 67 year old US citizen visiting Ireland to scout out places to visit for my university next month. I stopped by this place and asked to use the bathroom and instead of a warm friendly Irish greeting, the two bouncers on the door blocked my entrance with outstretched arms and told me to go across the street!! I know where my group will NOT be visiting when we come back to Dublin next month!
Be the first to ReplyRude door staff
These doorstaff have serious authority issues, definitely tried out for the Gardí and failed so they spend their evenings turning away random people and not giving reson apart from "don't like the look of ya". A small gray hair doorman who claimed he owns the place ran after one of our group to thaunt him into being aggressive and when he didn't react he walked back to his door
