Good food, but what's the point in making a reservation if there is still a wait lol ?!?!!?! Waiting 30 min after a reservation is absurd.
We had a best time here.
We started at the bar to wait for our table. Our bartender, Daniel, was the best! Our group needed a recommendation and he recommended a wonderful French wine along with awesome cheeses. We then were attended to by Alex who promptly helped w the menu
The food was excellent, four of us had various tapas.
We were definitely on the older side of the diners. The room noise was so loud it was more like a club. Since it was raining, all the outside diners had to come in. We really had to shriek to hear each other. A fellow hopped around on the tables
Whipped ricotta was the star of the show.
Grilled peaches were a little bitter. Ribeye just left me wanting more. Ordered the happy hour almonds but they never made it to the table. Love the music and the vibe. That's two visits to Barca at two different locations in the last month.
Cute area! We loved the tapas here, esp the steak.
Perfect for night with the girls to catch up or date night. The drinks are also really good, we had a sangria and an aperol spritz.
Terribly disappointed :(
I’ve been here many times and love it but was so so disappointed in it the last time I tried to go. We made a reservation for 8:00 and when we got there tons of people were waiting outside for hours because they were “running behind” and we wou
Best Tapas in town.
The waitress is a doll. She is so professional and knowledgeable. The new manager is wonderful!

There was a 15-20 minute wait despite our reservation, but thankfully I knew to expect that based on reviews. Once we were seated, service was prompt and the food was delicious. Some of our favorites were the tortilla espanola, the paella (we got veg

Ordered the patatas bravas, house made ricotta, tuna crudo, and bacon wrapped dates. The food was phenomenal. I couldn't choose a favorite tapa because they were all truly incredible. I love the small plates that allow to sample a mix of all the
Check-in process was fairly smooth.
We were seated rather quickly however table service was horrible. After we received our food, the server never returned to check on our table. We received our bread last. Our food tasted as though it had been sitting in the kitchen under the light an

The food is good, very good in some cases, and comes out quickly. The biggest problem is the place is always packed. Second biggest problem is the bar staff aren't friendly, if that's something you value, sit at a table. However, the place
Best Tapas in Boston
We've dined at numerous tapas restaurants across the country and this is one of finest in terms of food quality. Their sangria is very refreshing. Don't miss out on their grreat cheeses. It's a very big restaurant and can get loud.
awesome bar, food, service
awesome bar, food, service. Loved their specials and coctails. a bit loud, so don't plan to have a business meal there. Will return again next time in town
Great Vibe and Food
Visited Barcelona last night with our adult children. Had a nice round table so conversation was easy. Our server Colin was excellent, he had good suggestions and we never felt rushed. The place was packed but seemed very organized and was not too lo
Do not rely on getting in, even with a reservation
We met friends at Barcelona Brookline last Saturday night for a 6:30 reservation. We arrived right on time and when we checked in the line was so long we couldn’t wait inside (and it was freezing out). We waited for 15 minutes and then asked them
Used to be good -poor management
We always love the place, excellent service and food but not recently, especially tonight. Although reservation was made, the wait was 45 min. Last time we were there, we also had to wait (less) and the service was not good like before. All staff ig
We are always picky, expecting to be disappointed, but it never happen!
Just like Anthony Bourdain, we had no reservations. But, at 6 pm on Monday, we had no trouble getting a table. Outside was quieter than inside, believe it or not. The menu has been updated and is excellent. We have the ribs, the zucchini, the buca
Great tapas
I was impressed by this place-- portions were commensurate to price, the bread was great and served generously with equally quality olive oil. Octopus was excellent, so were all our dishes-- and the Basque cheesecake as good as homemade.
Make a reservation - just to be sure.
Our 3rd time. Still great. And full!! At 6pm we had no trouble getting a table for 3 without a reservation. By 7pm the place was packed. The Queso a la Plancha is excellent, and also the Pulpo with fingerling potatoes.

Booked in here recently on the back of praise from some friends. The atmosphere was buzzing, the food was in the main good. Great bread, gambas pil pil amongst other treats. The meatballs tasty but luke warm on arrival, I suspect they’re batched up
