We love Beau and Mo's.
Manhattan's are perfect, house wine very good, server is always the best! She makes our evening always special. Food is excellent, Chicago style steaks always cooked beautifully, pastas, sides, and our new favorite, Chateaubriand was perfection. The restaurant looks like an old 7-11 from the outside and is a cozy piano bar on the inside. (Piano now gone) Never have had a dessert... we're always too full!!
Be the first to ReplyA most disappointing evening.
Table reserved for 7.00pm. Eventually seated at 7.25...after waiting outside, only to be met by a cacophony of noise inside that was almost intolerable. At the table we had to literally raise our voices to converse. The service (Andrea) was very good. I ordered the pork chop which arrived covered in a thick ultra sweet viscous 'sauce' as was the accompanying other 'bits'. I ate 1/2, and donated the remainder to our canine's dish...after washing. The blue fillet was excellent. The medium/well fillet was very good. Shrinkflation. A small portion (~6") of Italian bread..$6. Sides of mashed potatoes ($10) and mushrooms ($12) that could not adequately satisfy 3 adults, unlike other fine dining locales. This review may seem harsh but we were very disappointed. We have been frequenting this establishment for many many years...to back when the piano played and there was an ambiance second to none. Sadly we have witnessed a decline, with the owners obviously moving from being customer centric to $ centric...get rid of the piano, we can get 3-4 more tables in the space! But who will really care...the tables are full and future bookings seem plentiful. It's interesting to note that B & M's used to get annual culinary awards...but nothing significant over the last few. Interesting. I get no satisfaction writing this review. Dr. P
Be the first to ReplyOverall this was a good experience.
I forget the waitress' name, but my significant other doesn't eat meat (I know.... Crazy and this is a steakhouse but nonetheless) and when she asked for other recommendations, the waitress was literally no help at all and said she hasn't tried any of the food. Kind of a bummer, but on to the food quality. I got the prime ribeye and it was good, I asked for med rare, but I feel it was cooked a bit more than med rare. I would personally say go rare next time instead. The steak was good and had a great crust. The mashed potatoes were FIRE. Girlfriend ended up getting chicken limone, with pasta and it was good as well. Not worth 32 dollars in my opinion as I could easily make it just as good at home for about 4 dollars total . Calamari was also very good. The space is a little packed, you're very close to the next table so it may not be as intimate as someone would like. I would go back to try again, and see if the rare steak would make this go up to a 4 star!
Be the first to ReplyAmazing place for a special evening or event.
The restaurant is hidden in a residential neighborhood and from the outside you can't imagine how great the food is.
Be the first to ReplyGreat menu and food.
Service is 100%. Old school atmosphere. Highly recommend. Enjoy.
Be the first to ReplyThe ambiance, food and service were very good.
I do believe that it is way overpriced. My husband and I had 2 steaks, 2 glasses of wine and a dessert. After tip it was $250. Something like this I would expect at Charley's or Berns. Again, the steak was very good but not to explain the cost of it.
Be the first to ReplyJust like walking into a fine Chicago steak house.
The steak was done to perfection. Went a second time and our meals were just as good as our first time. Always a nice crowd.
Be the first to ReplyI love Chicago-style steak.
Few places prepare it as it should be like in the best steak houses in Chicago or Midwest. Beau & Mo's "get it!" Always rewarding to find a restaurant that provides such great steaks and seafood. Had my birthday dinner here last September and we will celebrate anniversary tomorrow night at 7. 5+ stars for the food and service. "Dr J". Professor - USF Tampa
Be the first to ReplyWhat a wonderful meal and evening.
Excellent service and excellent food. Our steaks were perfectly seared and cooked. The flavor was incredible. Easily the best steak I have had in a very long time. Mike was an excellent server as well. Could not have asked for a better meal. Additionally, the vibe was relaxed yet professional. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening!

Delicious food and great service!! I'd definitely recommend trying the Brussels! They were delicious, taste like candy.
Be the first to ReplyAbsolutely one of the best meals in the last 12 months.
If you ever get a chance, order the Mediterranean Sea Bass. Nothing else like it!

Great place, great food, great service!! The Ambiance is awesome. It is like an old Chicago steakhouse. Love it
Be the first to ReplyThis place is outstanding.
A solid 5 star rating. The filet I have had there remains the best I have ever had. Nice ambiance. Wonderful, friendly owners.

- invest in cloth napkins and tablecloths - butter was disgusting, it would be better if you just had butter pats-silverware is cheap and flimsy -ny strip was undercooked, burned black and full of gristle. - should offer a baked potato - mushrooms were out of a can - drink was weak - wine had no legs, do you water it down??- food has gone DOWN HILL, very sad - very disappointed that everything here is no longer worth the trip - had a better steak last week at Outback - why do you find it tasty to burn the outside of the steak - Mike was a very nice server - fire hazard the way the tables are crammed together in the dining room on the left.
Be the first to ReplyIt is a busy and popular place.
The steak is salty just like other steak house. However, they "hard sear" all their steaks, and basically the outside is burned. Guess most people like it but I like mine not burned. Also the steak is a bit chewy and take some effort to cut.

This is one of my absolute best dine-out places to take my wife. Open the door and step into a bygone era to old Chicago. The food is fantastic, the ambiance is right, and the service is well above average. You will feel relaxed and transformed to a time and place away from Florida, yet when you walk out, you are right at home.
Be the first to ReplyAwesome place great drinks and great food.
The escargot was awesome and steaks were also very good.
Be the first to ReplyHighly recommended spot so we went early to sit at the bar.
Mitch, our bartender, was awesome! We ordered the escargot/ delicious! The skirt steak was a disappointment- but that might be our preference. Not sure I would return/ but fun to see for sure!
Be the first to ReplyHad been wanting to give this place a try for a couple
Had been wanting to give this place a try for a couple years. I thought it was an Italian restaurant, whence the name, but realized it's a steak house. limited parking, so it's mostly valet parking. we got there right at 5 and were told we needed a reservation. I asked the host if he. could fit us in since we were the only one there at that time. Our food was very good.Great wine selection. But it is quite expensive. our server was also very good. But my bill, without any alcohol was $45. Just not what I had expected.

Delicious! Cozy, old World atmosphere adds to the great experience! Our food and server were terrific, a little surprised (?) at the host's persona. Helpful and polite but not happy to make our future reservation, even though it is a month away.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent food and service.
Great ambience. Very pricy, so best for special occasions.
Be the first to ReplyBeen there many times and it just keep getting better.
The steaks here are the absolute best in Tampa Bay. Forget Berns...come here... Cozy, recently redecorated and has a become a super cool intimate space.
Be the first to ReplyArguably the best steak house in St.
Pete. We've been there three times, all being truly excellent experiences. It doesn't look like much from the outside, and parking is a bit tight, but OMG the food! Independently owned and operated, it is unique, yet the standards are the the highest. It's a Chicago/Italian style place with fantastically good specialty appetizers like escargot, aged prime cuts of beef, pasta, fish, etc. I could go on. Small place with limited hours, always packed, reservations are a must.
Be the first to ReplyElegance with live piano music.
My new go to for fine dining. Great selection of pasta and steaks. My friends and I decided to share the special. Chateaubriand. It's cooked medium rare and the main course is served with mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, and sautéed mushroom. And buttery garlic shrimp! A starter of salad and bread and butter is served first. The 3rd course - the cannoli dessert is also included. 10/10 everything was perfect. My friends and I will definitely return. They have a great wine selection as well. I recommend if you are in a group sharing a bottle of wine. Parking: Even on a weeknight I had to park in over flow parking next door.
Be the first to ReplyThe best steak.
The best piano playing. The best experience in town. There's nothing else like it. Come check it out for yourself and sit at the piano bar for a one of a kind experience!
