Wine, food, cheese!
This is our new favourite - and so handy for the Elizabeth Line :) Good wine knowledge and a well priced list. Food is great and a must for cheese lovers! We've eaten here for a working lunch and brought friends at dinner and everyone has really liked it.
Be the first to ReplyA BIT MORE GOES A LONG WAY!
We met a friend for lunch. On a Tuesday during half term we weren't surprised the restaurant wasn't full. The service was friendly, the food was tasty and well presented. BUT My main criticism is the size of the portions. I ordered the pasta with a mushroom sauce. It was good but the portion was half the size I would expect and certainly smaller than I would serve at home. Our friend had mussels - again, a portion the size of a starter, not a main. My husband had a 'minced' sausage, served with a tasty mash. Desert: My husband had cheese with honeycomb. We all had coffee - not the best I've had. All in all, although the service was friendly, the room was pretty, the menu was too small, not enough choice. I would not return. We did not find it good value - in these days when restaurants are struggling making a little bit more fuss of your customers and giving them a little more food is a good idea!

If you are looking for a French bistro in London, this is the place. Iโm still dreaming about the pollock! Besides the lovely food, service was top notch and they also have a great cocktail selection. Worth the visit.
Be the first to ReplyCharming & Cozy
Lovely place. Cozy, Vintage. We enjoyed the dinner very much, The Pasta was divine and the cheese & honey pairing was a treat.
Be the first to ReplyLovely french bistro
Perfect spot for a date night. Good wine selection and the food was amazing, specifically the sea bream tartare and the beef cheek. For dessert we had a chocolate fondant and it was brillant. Thank you Blanchette ! Will be back xx
Be the first to ReplyMade us sick
Went after theatre and got set menu. Set menu was very stingy for the price e.g. mussels didn't come with fries or bread just on their own and anything else was extra. Pudding was just ice cream or extra for anything else. All this would've been forgiveable but all 5 people who ate the mussels got really sick after with dodgy stomach. I'm embarrassed to have taken my family here for a special occasion. Avoid!
Be the first to ReplyUnprofessional service
Myself and a friend came in tonight for a drink and witnessed staff being openly verbaly abused by their (presumed) management, it was extremely uncomfortable to witness. As someone who works in hospitality I was particularly disgusted by this and will never return.
Be the first to ReplyJungle Room evening
Ten of us had the Jungle Room for a night. I didnโt pay so canโt talk cost but the drinks were fine and the food, served for us to pick at was nicely prepared and presented.

Excellent service and atmosphere. Even so, 13.5 service not welcome! Food good in places but as previous comments attest pork rillettes do not require fried bread - all too greasy. And mushroom risotto flavour obscured by heavy dose of salt!
Be the first to ReplyNothing special
It's okay. Nothing special. The dishes didn't all come together. My fish was cold. The veg was uninspiring. The cheese and honey was the best thing.
Be the first to ReplyDisappointed, basic, misleading.
Disappointed in this place. Had lots of promise but totally let down. Two major gripes for me: 1) I had no idea the small restaurant dining room, in the middle of central London, was โdog friendlyโ. It doesnโt state this anywhere on the site. Not only is it unpleasant in a small space but itโs not conducive to having a sensible business meeting. Had I known, we just wouldnโt have come here. Even my business guest (who has a dog) found it unpleasant. Food wise - whilst the set menu dishes we had were ok, the options were incredibly limited. It was very basic to say the least.
Be the first to ReplyFabulous French!
Wonderful food from a small menu, well cooked and presented. Excellent professional table service in a lovely French bistro only slightly spoiled by the music which went from bearable to too loud. Would happily go again but probably for lunch rather than dinner. Absolutely wonderful cheese and honey pairings and tasting plates. Recommended but expect to shout at your dinner guest/s
Be the first to ReplyGreat place for a special celebration.
A lovely french restaurant in the middle of Soho. Friendly staff with excellent service Fabulous menu with a good variety of authentic french dishes. The food was cooked to perfection and well presented.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent. Small, quaint and moody ambience (with candles of course) A small but interesting menu - always a good sign!
We dined on a cold night in December. It is a small and warming place with a small but interesting menu. Most importantly the service was bang on. Attentive and efficient. Food was brilliant and the wine equally so. Will definitely return!
Be the first to ReplyDelicious food, fabulous service - most enjoyable dinner!
A Saturday evening in Soho, tried any number of restaurants either on-line or in person all booked out. Heading to France tomorrow- a French restaurant was furtherest from our minds. On line search provided the option of the Blanchett - TA reviews were positive- booked on line, so glad we did Three course pre theatre menu - limited optionโs- we had the ยฃ19 three courses - delicious! Not overly generous portions - obviously designed for in-out people in a hurry - but delicious ! Tempura broccolini - beef ragu - sorbet accompanied by a very pleasant (but expensive) white wine. Service, by friendly, helpful and professional staff really created a positive impression - recommended!
Be the first to ReplyBeautiful decor
It was pouring rain in soho and I passed this place as I ran to the tube. Turned back on my stride as it looked lovely passing t by - and boy was I glad I did. I only say at the bar - 1 glass of wine while away from the rain turned to 3. I did not eat. I was by myself. Was just a pit stop in the rain. Bit looked at the menu while there. Clearly a lot of thought in the menu. But really the nain selling point was the decor. It was absolutely beautiful. (No idea if quality of foodโฆ.sorry). I will return for food at some point for sure.
Be the first to ReplyA chilled place
A very relaxed vibe in a small but spacious feeling place close to the central West End. Food and service both great and an unhurried feel made for a chilled evening

Hired the Jungle Room for a dinner for friends. Fantastic setting. Food was terrific, great choice of wine, and service was great.
Be the first to ReplyDisappointing and expensive
DONT GO. We went for a pre theatre meal, four adults in total. Despite ordering four supplement side dishes and a two course menu we will left place a little hungry. The food itself was v basic, w cheap ingredients. And REALLY small portions. The pork belly advertised was.actially only a few tiny pieces of bacon in the lentils, more of a spice than an actual ingredient. The additionsal sides were, at ยฃ9 each, not cheap but absolutely needed in order to call it a proper meal rather than just a snack. We left w the impression that this place is trying all sorts of cost recovery options and it in the process it ends up ripping off its customers.
Be the first to ReplyLovely place โฆ staff were very accommodating
We had been to watch a show and had a couple of hours before our train. Kids were hungry and so we looked for somewhere around Soho to eat. It was a busy Saturday evening and after trying a few places we tried Blanchette. The staff were very accommodating and we sat at the bar which the kids loved as they could watch the cocktails being made. The food was great and we had a great time! Would definitely go again.

Friends 40th. Iโve not visited before, some of my friends have. Truly superb food and service. Will definitely go back, really enjoyed it. Thank you
Be the first to ReplyNice Soho Bistro
We had a set lunch - two courses for ยฃ15. The food was good (although the moules were a bit salty). Very small portions and no accompaniments to the main course - you need to get some chips or bread as well. The house wine is nice but expensive. Good service, nice ambience.

Quaint little parisian themed restaurant in soho serving good food with an atmosphere filled with character. Fyi the desserts are to die for.
Be the first to ReplyMy favorite restaurant!
Perfect place for a birthday dinner. Everything from the service to food was 10/10. The pork belly was out of this world.
Be the first to ReplyLovely setting and great food
We had a nice, elaborate meal here. Very nice people, nice scenery, great cocktails and lovely food! We adored it.
