Great vibe fun spot good food and drinks.
Worth a stop if you're local or in the area. Excellent city views and angled right for Disney's fireworks.
Be the first to ReplyThe restaurant is on the top floor of the Viv hotel.
Loved the decor and the view. I could see both California Adventure and Disneyland. I didn't know that I needed to reserved for tables next to the window for an additional $10/person. When I made the reservation, I didn't see the option. I guess it was sold out. The food was a hit and miss. We ordered the following to share between 4 people: PATATAS BRAVAS SHRIMP AL AJILLO CHARRED OCTOPUS CHARRED CABBAGE GALICIAN BONE-IN RIBEYE FOR TWO SEAFOOD BOMBA RICE TXIMITXURRI The charred octopus and bone-in ribeye with tximitxurri was the star of our dinner. Both were so tender and seasoned well. The seafood bomba rice was ok. Charred cabbage reminds me roasted Brussel sprout. The honey-chile glazed was a little sweet. Our server was really nice to comp us on the desserts since I was celebrating my birthday. It was a wonderful experience seeing the fireworks from Disneyland. But our table didn't have a clear view. You need to sit on the right side of the restaurant for the prefect view. There is no need for valet. You can self park and there is a door from the garage to the hotel. Bring in your ticket and validate the ticket at the lobby before you leave the hotel.

Food: 5 Service: 5 Ambiance: 5 Loved everything about this place! Made a reservation for my partner's birthday on Saturday evening right at sunset. I mentioned window seating and when we entered, we were escorted to the lounge area. Honestly at first we were a bit surprised as I thought we were going to eat in the dining room area. I was also a bit unhappy as it wasn't expected however our server, Joy, turned everything around. She was very kind, gracious and super helpful. We got settled in and actually enjoyed eating in the lounge/ more of a casual feel but still extremely enjoyable. The sunset and view were spectacular. We ordered the charred octopus (soooo good!), pan cristal (soft and fresh) to start. We were definitely blown away by the octopus. So delicious and soft and perfectly cooked and seasoned! I ordered sangria which was another homerun. It's not as sweet as the sangria I'm used to but more rich and deep in flavor. For our main courses we ordered the seafood paella and the beef strip loin (medium rare). The paella was a delight for the eyes as well as the tastebuds. It was tasty but not overpowering. The beef was cooked perfectly! We ordered the Tximitxurri and piquillo sauces. The tximitxurri went so well with the steak. The piquillo was also quite delicious. We had cheesecake for dessert and it was light and delicious! Service was excellent and Joy was amazing. We had waters refilled and she was there whenever we needed anything, always checking up (with a smile) even tho it started to get quite busy! She was always friendly and warm. We definitely want to return for appetizers and drinks on the outdoor deck. Highly recommend!

Food was limited, but what we ordered was very good. The ambiance was during Christmas, so it was beautiful. There were not many ppl there, so the service was good.
Be the first to ReplyCame for the view, stayed for the delicious dining options.
You can't go wrong ordering at Top of The V -- we tried several dishes and all were hits. And it's the perfect space to celebrate a special occasion -- as this is where we chose to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and we were so happy that we did. All of the staff members were incredibly helpful and attentive, which made the experience even more memorable. Take the staff's recommendations too. If you have a chance to dine here -- do it!

Food was very bad for the price! The paella had a fishy flavor that really wasn't what you expect when it's 60 dollars and my boyfriend got the pork chops which were hard to eat and plain. Great view though as you can see from the pictures.

I went in recently hoping to find the same energy as last month when I came in which was amazing but this time the service was so sloppy. I hope they can get it together and bring back what it used to be.

luxury rooftop experience in anaheim! went here for my friends birthday and it was really cool! they sat us by the window and we saw the disneyland fireworks a while we ate!! she said it was best birthday dinner she ever had! i think the best dish that was worth it for it's price was the Paella, bigggg portion with an ok amount of lobster, i had left overs for 3 days hahaha The waiters were extremely nice and provided great service definitely going again for a night out very soon

What a view!! Super impressed by Kevin who runs the bar! We were sitting waiting and he came over to great us, handed us a menu and assured us a spot at the bar would open soon. He and his staff were so engaging during our bar visit. Great cocktails!! Highly recommend the espresso martini!! We want to return for the food!

Came here for date night on a Thursday and it was fantastic! It was not overly crowded but definitely a full house. The ambience is amazing, very modern with an upscale twist. Of course we had to reserve the window seat (I wouldn't say it's very high up, but still a great view). However, we went on a night where Disney did not have their fireworks which we would have had a great view of. Our table was great because we sat on comfortable couches and I definitely prefer a comfy couch over a chair any day lol. So I no longer drink and cannot speak on the drinks, but the food I can because I sure can eat. We started off with an array of appetizers including: Iberico, beet salad, anchovies, beef cheek, and the charred octopus (which is a house favorite), and then decided to do the seafood bomba rice. The Iberico, was delicious but not as soft as it could have been, the beet salad was delicious, it was paired with blood orange and was so refreshing. The anchovies were delicious marinated in olive oil, the beef cheek was sooo tender it kept getting stuck in my fork lol! The charred octopus was soo soft and juicy, it's the best I've had. The Bomba rice was good, however it's not much rice nor are the clams worth it because they are soo small. I loved the outside view and got an incredible picture so I'd definitely count this as the perfect date night restaurant.

The food is good. The alcohol is good. The servers are really nice dress elegant and take your favorite date.
Be the first to ReplyThe place for a rooftop was good, had a view that noted
The place for a rooftop was good, had a view that noted everyone can see because of the poor floor plan and tables allocation. Too small for a restaurant. Tables allocation needs improvement for sure, couple of adjustments makes everything looks better. Service was horrible, waitress was like whatever and keep coming up with excuses about delays in the drinks and why there's no enough same plates to serve ourselves food! Common get your shit together. It's either you're open to charge people this much money and you know what you're doing or you don't and running it as a joke. Food portions for the money were way too small. Left the place still hungry and literally went straight to eat somewhere else.

You get a beautiful, romantic views of Disneyland and if you're there at night time you get to enjoy the beautiful fireworks that are displayed by Disneyland. I was disappointed to have received my text message saying our table is ready, and when I went to check in with the hostess, our table was not ready and we had to wait 25 minutes to get our table which I had made a reservation for a week in advance.Drinks were amazing bartenders were very attentive and quick . Perfect place to grab a drink with a girlfriend or a friend and sit at the bar.I was expecting Food to be over-the-top delicious, but I have to be honest and say it fell a little short. The food is good, but in my opinion salt was missing in some of the dishes. My husband got the rack of lamb special which the lamb could've been a little less cooked. The weird thing on the dish was these bbq tasting beans under a beautiful very rich lamb. Didn't understand the flavor combination there. My favorite dish was their appetizer octopus, so delicious, perfectly cooked soft, tender, and flavorful. I could honestly just go back to eat that with a nice glass of wine. We were here last night, which was St. Patrick's Day, which is also my husband and myself anniversary. A very important day for the both of us. And this place was perfect for a date night and an intimate dinner with my special person. We would give this place another try.
Be the first to ReplyOkay view of Anaheim.
Had to pay to make resos. Looking forward to coming back in the spring/summer.
Be the first to ReplyThis restaurant has so much potential.
The ambiance and the vibe were great. The decor was chic and beautiful which is something I can't find easily in the OC. The restaurant also has a great view of Disneyland resort which makes it a great spot to watch fireworks on weekends. But the service and food quality was seriously lacking. The food was way overpriced for being mediocre and the amount came with them. We got to try the Patatas bravas, Carrillera, and Arroz de langosta. Carrillera was a braised beef cheek dish. The beef cheek was nice and tender but lack seasoning. The sauce that came with didn't compliment the beef well at all. Arroze de langosta was basically a lobster paella. The dish was very salty and came with very few lobsters for the price. I did enjoy the drink we got though. So I think I will only come back here to have a drink and chill.

I had high hopes for Top of the V, but unfortunately, my experience was a huge disappointment. While the restaurant boasts breathtaking views of the city, the service fell far short of my expectations. To start, the service was incredibly slow and unattentive. It took forever to get our drinks, and our waiter seemed disinterested in providing us with any recommendations or suggestions. As for the food, it was good! Paella was delicious and the drinks are tasty. Good selection of beers on draft as well. To make matters worse, the prices were exorbitant, and did not reflect the quality of the service. I felt like I was paying for the view and the ambiance, rather than the actual dining experience.Overall, I was extremely disappointed with my visit to Top of the V. For the high prices charged, I expected much more in terms service. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. Restaurant did offer and brought a free dessert and we were happy that they acknowledged the service issue.
Be the first to ReplyThis is a good restaurant.
I ordered shrimp tapa and lobster rice. The ambience is dark and jazzy. We can see disneyland by the window. The patio is open on Fri and Sat. Will be back one of those days.
Be the first to ReplyFood was mediocre at best! Not sure if Basque style food
Food was mediocre at best! Not sure if Basque style food means swimming in oil or not, but it isn't the same type of food we've eaten in Spain. The mushroom confit was pretty tasty but that was about it. The jamon fritter had no jamon. The artichoke hearts had some flavor and that flavor was salted bread crumbs. The water cups are tiny and servers don't come around enough to refill. Beer is served 1/2 full with 1/4 head Even with the head, the drink didn't reach the rim. They don't have many options for non alcoholic drinks. The first table we sat at was unbalanced and had a severe wobble. The server (Jordan) seemed cold and inattentive. He never even offered dessert. The reservation system also was inconvenient having to put a deposit down. If you go on a weekday or a slow night, I would recommend just walking in and avoiding the Open Table reservation. Or you can do yourself a favor and not come here The decor and ambience is very nice. We sat inside. The view was OK but where we sat we saw most of the 5 freeway.
Be the first to ReplyService was slow and bad communication .
Seating felt like a lounge , similar to being at a hookah lounge. I came thinking I was going to enjoy every bit of my night here, even got a room . I didn't eat really and I lost my appetite because of horrible communication. When I ordered and received on drink, waiter did not inform me she went to break , I will never return it was a waste of time money and all the above.

Been seated for 30 mins and they haven't taken our drink order yet...update: food was mediocre (either too salty or the flavor profile was too flat)service was way too slow (took 20 minutes to run my card for the check..)was charged $10 for parking (after validation) but the parking staff just opened the gate for us and let us out without taking our ticket overall:Not worth the price! :) come take your insta photos and leave!!

I came on a very busy day and we waited quiet a while for our meals. However, the quality of the food, presentation of the plates, choice of wines and most importantly, the server (Kevin) made up for it.I highly recommend this restaurant if you want to try Basque cuisine. I'm already planning my next visit

Came here for an anniversary dinner for me and my wife, the food was great, the atmosphere was great not too loud not too quiet great view great food. There was only one issue and I usually don't do reviews but this was the situation. Originally I asked for the patio but they said it was very cold so we decided to dine inside and asked if we could go outside after eating and they said it was fine. Once we finished eating they said we'll get the fire pit ready and came back saying the fire pits were not working due the rain recently which I figured it's understandable but we still went outside. My wife and I were relaxing outside the patio when another party went outside thought nothing of it until we see someone turn on the fire pit for them. I'm not sure what the issue was why they would lie about it working we just stood in the cold while the other party had a full on firepit going. Needless to say we were very disappointed with the treatment.
