Good restaurant that breaks the American mold
It is located very close to Atlantic Avenue, but on a quieter street. Nice atmosphere and good food. The dishes offered are refreshing and stand out from traditional American restaurants. The quality/price ratio is quite good.
Be the first to ReplyA really nice place for lunch. good service and quality food.
was the food good? Yes. for lunch it was sandwiches and they were filled with really nice turkey and made for a nice lunch. The place was very busy which to me is a good thing. my wife had a cheese burger and it came out perfect . The service was a bit slower than usual but due to the crowd it is understandable. A bit noisy. But the place is nice and it is clean. I will come back again for dinner and see how that is. I am sure it will be good.
Be the first to ReplyA wonderful dining experience in The Arts District with the best Happy Hour!
Dined outdoors on a beautiful evening. Lots of activity (wedding procession) across the street at The Ray as added entertainment. The Happy Hour (Wed-Sun, 3 - 6 pm, entire menu 20% off) was an added bonus. The staff was attentive, informative, friendly, engaged. The menu was interesting and varied. The appetizers, both hot and cold, were delicious. The mains were tasty, well prepared and presented, and more than ample. The bill. with the 20% reduction, was extremely fair. An excellent restaurant in the lovely (and less hectic than Atlantic Ave) Arts District. Not to be missed.

Terrible dining experience! We were party of 7 and two of us only received our entree after the rest of the party had finished theirs. We had to complain twice to the Manager who in fairness was apologetic and cut the entrées from the bill and gave us free drinks. Wasn’t his fault but being Manager he should have ensured that all entrees came out together rather than in stages. Food was unmemorable , expensive and certainly there are better places to eat in Delray. Will never return

The restaurant offers both indoor & outdoor seating. We chose indoor because it was too hot outside. Indoors was a little close and noisy, but okay. Service was excellent. Orders were taken and delivered in a very timely fashion. The food , however, was the star. The kale and brussels salad was unusual and delicious. The lamb burger was my favorite! Seafood Bolognese, and several of the appetizers were also expertly prepared. My only disappointment is they don’t take reservations.

Amazing meal with great service! This restaurant far exceeded all expectations we had and it was truly amazing. All of the food plus the drinks we had were amazing. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Decided to dine at Delray last night and figured we should try Brûlée Bistro since we hadn’t been there in ages. We were told there was a 45 min wait, however shortly soon after we’re told we could be seated outside, which was good since it was extremely loud, like way too loud inside. We had a great server, Brie, who was excellent In recommendations and service. We shared the Shrimp and Lobster Ceviche, in a white gazpacho, which was unbelievably superb. A must try if you haven’t already. And the Crispy Broccoli, which came with hummus, but even so, a very skimpy portion for the price. My spouse had the Lamb Burger with Gorgonzola which was very good. I had the Short Rib Burger, perfectly cooked and tasty. We had no complaints as to the taste of the food. The only complaint, which is a big one since it took away from our dining experience, is either screen in the outdoor area, or purchase some table fans that many restaurants have to keep the flies away. A candle they put on an adjacent table for their use doesn’t do much. There is nothing worse than having to stop enjoying a delicious meal to swat away a fly. I hope the restaurant reads this constructive criticism regarding the flies because some management can’t be bothered. We love the restaurant, just not the flies!!!

FIrst time here and had a wonderful lunch. Brule is a little off the busy part of town which is nice. A friend asked us to lunch. I don’t think we would have found it otherwise even though we have walked past it a few times. Arriving a little early we got a drink at the bar. I ordered a Ranchwater and she knew what it was. Often bartenders don’t know a Ranchwater so I have to tell them how to make it. It was perfect.

I come here for lunch occasionally. I get the lamb burger or the turkey club. Both are very tasty. Reasonably priced. Service is usually okay.

Lunch with an out of town friend. Absolutely delish! Colorado Lamb burger was amazing. Service was great and hardly a wait. They also played great music! We will be back!
Be the first to ReplyOK food, poor service
Not the experience I had heard I would have. Food was fine, nothing overly spectacular. Service was slow, we could not find our server when we needed him, on a night that wasn't too busy.

Our dining experience last night was excellent! Since we escaped the NJ cold, we were happy to be seated outside, but the inside is cozy and chic too! The bar area is beautiful and my Hibiscus Paloma was delicious! For our main course, my husband got the Filet Mignon with short rib and loved it! I ordered Seared Diver Scallops. They were PERFECT! They were atop a wonderful medley of pasta pillows, arugula cream, mushrooms, bacon, corn and peas! I can’t really even put into words how spectacular this dish was!!! I loved everything about Brule Bistro! We will absolutely be back!!!

We decided to have lunch at this place. It was very crowded and we were seated outside. I ordered the lobster roll which arrived with lobster meat on top of the roll. There was no lobster meat in the middle or the bottom of the sandwich. We were never asked if we wanted refills on our beverages. We weren’t offered a dessert menu and we had to request the check. I actually left hungry. I would not return.
Be the first to ReplyAwesome service and atmosphere
We have been eating and drinking at Brule for several years. The service is the very best in Delray Beach and the atmosphere is great. The food is consistently awesome. Since they do not take reservations you can usually get a table with a bearable wait time. Since the Ray Hotel opened across the street, parking has become an issue.

I ordered badly but the rest of my family had a delicious meal! The lobster roll and lamb burger were especially good. The atmosphere was fun and there was a very eclectic playlist throughout the evening…. We started with drum and bass and ending with the beegees. The service was good but very cold inside - remember a jumper!

We came for lunch. My wife and I shared the lamb burger and the turkey club. Both were very tasty. Good service. Kinda busy.

We decided to try this for burgers on a recent Saturday night based in recommendations that they had a good burger. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. Our lamb and beef burgers both came over cooked and dry. The French fries we ordered at an additional cost were mildly warm and not very good at all. I will say, our Cesar salad was delicious, we enjoyed it very much. Should we have sent our food back? Probably. But. In this economy, we decided to just deal with it. Oh well. Better luck next time I suppose.

Went here for Sunday brunch today...every table was filled as soon as it opened which indicated it was a go-to place..Service was spectacular even though it was hopping. Our server Brie was attentive and informative about the menu even though she was taking care of a lot of customers at the same time. I can't say enough about Chef Suzanne and the flavors that she puts together. Everything is homemade, from the pastries, bread, right though to desserts. We had the Blueberry Ricotta pancakes, so light and fluffy...not heavy at all. We also had the Full Monty which was spectacular and the Short Rib Benedict was full of flavor as well. It was a beautiful day in Delray and Brule did not disappoint! Can't wait to go back.
Be the first to ReplyFun Menu & Great Service
We had a great dinner at Brule Bistro. The menu was interesting and had fun twists on classic dishes. We had the bone marrow with escargots and foie gras with a cornbread waffle. We also had the filet mignon oscar, which was delicious. Dessert included their housemade PB gelato and brownie. Our server was attentive but not overbearing. We ate outside on their lovely patio, and had a great time people watching. We'll definitely be back.
