Just really amazing g food and service.
I was blown away. We are staying at the Chesterfield Mayfair and decided to dine here after a very long day. The service was exceptional, personal and top notch! The Dover Sole is incredible. I had it grilled and sprinkled it with some ground Hawaiian Black Sea salt and lemon juice. Wow! Can't recall ever enjoying some or white fish quite like this. Fresh from the London Fish Market they say. With it I enjoyed sautéed spinach and mashed, whipped potatoes. Both perfect sides. My wife had halibut grilled with fennel. She enjoyed that too. They serve a sampling of delicious breads and butter combinations, one with salt (normal), one with basil, one with sun dried tomatoes and another with truffle. All delicious! We had eaten well snd decided to forego dessert but the waiter/chef sent out complimentary macaroons and chocolate/orange truffle balls. Yum! Might just be my best fish meal ever!! Thanks guys for an incredible dining experience! And the setting is wonderful. It's quiet, old world, elegant. A very memorable dinner.

We enjoyed the restaurant for lunch a few times and dinner. Everything here is exceptional. Their attention to detail is amazing, down to the 3 types of butter and 3 types of salt. The grouse, roast ham, lobster cocktail, etc. we all fantastic. Our servers were also lovely (Andriana and dining Mngr Loris). They made our experience(s) so extremely memorable. THANK YOU!!

The food is really good, and it's decorated quite nicely for the holidays, but they should add more vegan options!

The breakfast at the butler was okay. They were always very accommodating with a large array of fruits and cheeses and such. We also had dinner here which was wonderful. I had the steak and I really enjoyed it. It was cooked to perfection. But the best the here is Afternoon Tea. Fabulous tea and sandwiches, in which you can eat as many as you like. I loved the finger sandwiches. I wasn't to keen on the sweets on the top layer, but I'm not to big on sweets anyway. So if you get the chance for afternoon tea... This is a great place.

I love everything about Butlers!! From the menu to the service, everything is perfect! Last time I was there, they had a special "roast" and it happened to be chicken. Talk about fantastic!! It came with potatoes and veggies and they cut the chicken right in front of you. Succulent and juicy, Antonio was a great waiter and the wine steward (sorry! I forget his name!) was knowledgable and fun to talk to. A++++ for Butler's!!

One thing you really should try in England is the afternoon tea. We tried it at the Chesterfield Mayfair's restaurant The Butlers. An online booking on their homepage is recommended as it can be crowded. We took the vegetarian afternoon tea, strong Assam black tea and delicate white tea. Tea is accompanied by luxury ingredient sandwiches (cucumber, egg, tomatoes and cheese), scones (with clotted cream and strawberry jam) and 5 delicious cakes and pastries. It looked very beautiful because the sandwiches and cakes are presented on a pyramid tiered stand. If you would like to celebrate a special occasion, you can even have the option of champagne. The service was excellent. There is no dress code in this restaurant. The price is £28.50 per person.afternoontea.co.uk/index…
