Stopped in for brunch yesterday for a late bday treat with the best friend n fam. We got mimosas, which we chose the mango oj. I had the Benedict with choice of fruit. Very good! She had the avocado toast, and her kids had the waffles and pancakes. Everyone loved their orders and say they love to come to Butters whenever they're in the area! I thought everything was great! The staff were super friendly!

Located in a strip mall setting you don't expect much right off campus. Ambiance is that of a basic breakfast place but food, service, and friendliness were all top notch. They deserve great reviews but I also don't want to wait in line for a table so I was torn about telling how good it is. Benedict was excellent. Mimosa tower on the adjacent table was impressive.
Be the first to ReplyThis was one of the worst brunches I've ever had.
The "cocktail" was not a cocktail. It was a 16 oz glass with juice and a shot of alcohol for 10$. No ice, room temperature, and the employee asked us what was in it even though it was on their menu! That said the food wasn't good. The best thing was the biscuit and gravy as long as you didn't get a chunk of fat in the bit. Ugh wish we had just gone into FoCo and gone to a spot there. Very Disappointed.
Be the first to ReplyI'm genuinely never one to do this.
But, the service today alone has made me not want to go back for a LONG while. Was sat in the VERY back corner, neglected by the waiter for the whole meal ... there was four of us and we all ran out of our waters even before our food arrived. Twice, we tried calmly flagging down the waiter, in which he stuck his finger up to indicate a moment, and he never came over to check on us either time. Not only did we not get any service for our entire meal, but we waited over 15 minutes to literally just pay. I truly understand a rush, I've worked in the service industry, and my friends and I frequent this location, and I can promise it wasn't busy. The killer part, was the passive aggressive remark the waiter made about us not tipping well, when he finally did come over to ring us up. That whole situation was uncomfortable, and I don't understand the reason for that. I hate being on a "soapbox" and ranting, but I don't see myself really ever coming back, and for the lack of any service, as well as just decent treatment, I would advise finding a different restaurant to spend your time and money at.

Stopped in for breakfast when I was visiting my daughter as CSU. She told me this is a go to place for college kids after they spend a night partying. Needless to say I went in expecting a bunch of rowdy college kids. What I found instead was a bustling breakfast spot with a nice energy and friendly staff. We came on a Sunday but were sat quickly and had coffee in front of us right away. The skillet was delicious with a nice helping of meat and peppers and a really flavorful green chili smothered on top. The waffles were fluffy and not too sweet. I do wish they served warm syrup but that was really my only down side. Prices are as one would expect in a college town Not cheap but not outrageous either. Atmosphere was typical diner. Lots of talking and people bustling everywhere but thankfully no loud music so still able to actually have a conversation. Overall a good breakfast spot and I'll be back.
Be the first to ReplyNot sure why there are poor reviews.
Was a great breakfast spot, good food. Many options for drinks or mimosas. Service good also
Be the first to ReplyWe tried this for the first time this morning with friends.
..was very disappointed....even though the food was homestyle the seating was not comfortable. No menus, only QR code. My husband and I both ordered the fruit as a side -got cantaloupe and honeydew that was over ripe and unedible. We told the waiter, he took my husbands and didn't offer to try again or another side, nor adjust our ticket to reflect we didn't get a side.

They did an excellent job accommodating a large party and having all our orders ready. The management and staff communicated well and helped the process go smoothly. Go Pokes!
Be the first to ReplyHorrible, horrible experience this morning.
My boyfriend and I used to come here quite often, but after this situation we will never be back. I placed an online order, waited 20-30 minutes, then went to pick it up. Upon arriving, I was informed that the "online ordering system isn't working so my order didn't go through." Alright, no biggie, stuff happens. One of the servers puts in the order and tells me "it should be ready in about 10 minutes." I waited for an HOUR outside in the cold. The host kept telling me that it would "be ready soon" but the minutes kept ticking by and still nothing. When I finally received my food, there was no offer for a refund or anything for all of my wasted time and their mess up. All I got was "Sorry, I hope they hooked you up. Have a nice day." Are you freaking kidding me??? What kind of service is that?? To top it all off, my order was wrong. I ordered the veggie omelet with added cheddar cheese (which cost an extra $0.50), added avocado (which cost an extra $1.00), and SOURDOUGH toast. What I received was an omelet with NO cheese, NO avocado, and nasty GLUTEN FREE toast. I tried calling them multiple times to tell them that my order was wrong and I wanted a refund and no one answered.

Half my order was missing and the half they had was ice cold and bland. So disappointed. I got zero refund too
Be the first to ReplyIt's ok.
Nothing to get terribly excited over. I had a waffle with strawberry's and bacon. The bacon was crispy which I like. The brown sugar topping on the waffle wasn't super sweet which was a bonus. My husband had the burrito. He said the green chili was different. When I asked what that meant he shrugged his shoulders and said it was nothing special. The waitress was friendly and the restaurant seemed clean-ish.The iced tea was horrendous. Truly awful tea. It might have been instant but even instant tea doesn't taste that bad. It tasted burnt. How does one burn tea???Probably won't go out of my way to return.
Be the first to ReplyThis breakfast burrito was the size of an infant child.
Flavors were great. Also got a Bloody Mary that was delish!
Be the first to ReplyThe service is the best along with the food.
They do a champagne Brunch the right way, perfect mixture of food, drink and conversation. The food is delicious, I am especially fond of the Mexican breakfast foods.
Be the first to ReplyIncredibly mid biscuits and gravy with poor service.
They still use QR code menus and the whole time being there felt very impersonal. There's probably 10 restaurants I'd rather go to to get breakfast in Fort Collins than here
Be the first to ReplyGave this place a shot when we were in town visiting.
No regerts. Tough to say what we were more pleased with, our server or the food. Both were amazing. Ebony was outstanding even when the cook staff forgot part of our order. I had the French toasts flight and it was great. Especially the s'mores. Wife has a sandwich and their amazing fries.

Mediocre service. Not worth it.Watched customers stand at the door for so long without being greeted.Watched customers leave their table because nobody greeted them or gave them water. Arrived with few tables full and waited an hour for food. Didn't get one water refill until our server was bringing our checks. Atmosphere was chaotic. The servers were clearly very overwhelmed. Just not a good environment to start your day in.
Be the first to ReplyGood breakfast spot with a varied and interesting menu.
Hash bowls, huezos, omelettes. Regular eggs any style, eggs Benedict and more; then flip over the menu for pancakes, French toast etc. plus a big mamosa pillar if you're up for that.

I only give it two stars because the mimosa towers are fkn awesome. HOWEVER RONALD had a couldn't be bothered attitude. It was rude. In addition a gratuity charge was automatically added when I have been here multiple times and this has never happened before.

Butters is amazing! It's a little busy but it is worth the wait. They have such unique breakfast dishes, I got the pancake roll and it was INCREDIBLE. My husband got egg bacon and French toast which was also delicious! Not to mention they have mimosa towers. I think everyone who lives in Fort Collins has to visit butters at least once! :)
Be the first to ReplyWow, what a nice little place.
Staff was outstanding attentive and very polite. The dishes came out looking beautiful. My daughter had the stuffed French toast. My wife had of huevos rancheros which were full of flavor. I had a country steak skillet Which is about 3 inches deep filled with hashbrowns peppers onions country fried steak sausage two eggs over easy sausage gravy on top and two slices of bread. Needless to say I could not finish more than half of it but it was delicious. Absolutely a good spot for breakfast!
