Fantastic pure flavors! Byblos captures the essence of the ingredients when it comes to their desserts, and their fried chicken, though different from the ordinary, has explosive flavor. The ambience is top notch and the waiters/tresses work FAST. I was thoroughly impressed with every element of Byblos. My only complaint was that the fried chicken did not have a satisfying crunchy texture. It DOES have crunch, but there is a lacking of air within the batter that creates a satisfying and loud crisp/crunch. It may have to do with the ingredients they use, or the style of frying. I give 4.5 out of 5 for their chicken l, though the ice cream is high quality!

This restaurant is beautiful, the food is delicious, and the service is perfect. Our server made great suggestions and I'm still thinking about the beet dish.
Be the first to ReplyThis is the best restaurant I've been to in Miami, and
This is the best restaurant I've been to in Miami, and possibly the best Mediterranean I've had in the States. I had high hopes for the restaurant and somehow Byblos exceeded them on every front. To start, the ambiance is picturesque. Unpretentious yet tremendously chic, it's trendy in all the right ways without being tacky or garish. We sat outside and were surrounded by their plants on the patio - for a moment you may think you are in a different country while the DJ plays traditional music with a flair. 10/10 ambiance, my boyfriend and I could've sat there all night. The food is next level. We tried a little bit of everything, and would've regretted not doing so. We are huge Mediterranean food and octopus lovers, and have been around all of Greece + NYC, and this is one of the best octopus dishes we've ever had. The octopus is plump and the sauce was spicy, savory and the perfect compliment. The truffle pide is out of this world - couldn't even put together a good enough description for how it tastes. The highly raved about dumplings are truly all that. We also ordered the salmon which was so tasty, and my boyfriend ordered the ribs which were a truly unique and exciting interpretation. We also ordered the kale salad which is genuinely my favorite salad I've ever eaten - and I love kale. I would have ordered it for delivery the next day if they were open. It was the perfect bite of citrus, sweet, and savory - a truly hard feat when it comes to veggies. To finish our meal was a fantastic off menu baklava cheesecake which should really be on menu, but it probably wouldn't be fair to dessert menus anywhere else. It was truly unforgettable. The underlying theme across all of these dishes was something my boyfriend and I both agreed on - creative and out-of-box thinking on traditional Mediterranean cuisine, done perfectly. I can't leave a sparkling enough review for what the chefs here have managed to achieve. Lastly but certainly not least, we were so lucky to have the best service. Neza took perfect care of us from start to finish, recommending dishes that ended up being our favorite of the night, and a wonderful wine complement. She let us take our time and was attentive while encouraging us to "take it slow" and enjoy. You can't ask for anything better. The manager, Bogdan, was just as hospitable, and found the most delicious pairing for our dessert at the end of the evening. Everything they do at Byblos is perfection. We had our best night of the entire trip here thanks to Neza, Bogdan, and the entire team here. We'll be back and bringing our friends as soon as we can :)

We had dinner here after we were recommended they make great lamb ribs. We sat outside as it looked comfortable and cozy and it was. Appetizers came after 15 mins and they were great but it took them about 1hr 30 mins to serve the entrees. We arrived there around 8.25 pm and the main course was served at 10.15 pm! We were no longer comfortable by then. We ordered a dessert to share and that took 20 mins! And another 5 mins for the waiter to come back to process our credit card. No apology was given by the manager or the server. Not a great experience at this place. We will not be back!

Sat with Sebastian and Bagio in the bar; stellar experience from start to finish. Service was friendly, knowledgable, and very caring. Food was top notch. Amazing flavor combinations like the hummus royale with homemade pita and pomegranate glazed filet tips, or the halves parfait dessert with white chocolate, sesame, and Iranian cotton candy. Literally every course and drink was to die for. The live music added a nice layer to the experience which also featured a laid back atmosphere and aesthetic that totally matched. Cannot wait to visit this restaurant again and again!

I enjoyed my dinner at Byblos, they had a good selection of cocktails, menu items and dessert. It was a little smaller than I pictured and not quite like the website but still a good vibe. I think but was pretty comparable to other Mediterranean restaurants in the area.
Be the first to ReplyMy friend and I couldn't have been happier with our dinner
My friend and I couldn't have been happier with our dinner here. The inside of this restaurant is breathtaking. We were sat in a gorgeous, dimly lit room. The servers here are very attentive. Our waters were never low for more than a few seconds. We tried a lot of great things including the fried eggplant appetizer, the salmon, chicken, and shrimp rice. Everything was beyond flavorful. The salmon was to die for. I 115% would return when in the area!
Be the first to ReplyOne of the best meals of the year.
The flavors were classic and surprising in the best way possible. It felt like a whole new experience with Mediterranean food. Our server, Jacques, was perfect.
Be the first to ReplyGreat restaurant worth the pricing.
Highlights: - Turkish dumplings were the star of the menu. Amazingly cooked - imagine a deliciius mix between a raviolli and a pilmini with a broiled top and soft bottom - and vegetarian with a great creamy sauce. - Incredible service. Server gave advice when we made a mistake ordering 2 very similar dishes, was amazing on timing dishes, maintaining water and table cleanliness, etc. Tipped well over my usual %. - Jeweled rice was great. I've had better on a few occasions at places dedicated to a few dishes but it was still very good. - Space is beautiful and relaxing. - Great labneh. Not sure if made in house or what, but it went well with the beets. Lowlights: - Heirloom chicken was surprisingly outright mediocre to bad. Not a lot of chicken, the chicken was dry despite being in a sauce that could cover it up, the sauce was bland, and it is LOADED with some sort of carbs that overwhelmed it and were TOO abundant. The lentils were probably the best part of the dish. Similarly surprised that when we went to order 2 chicken dishes because of dietary restrictions we were advised against it even though it's hard to imagine this dish being too similar to the other. With what was otherwise a delicious meal, it was odd that this dish was just not good. - Fries were fine but nothing special. Terrific aioli though!!! Would return again to try other dishes. Not sure if the tasting menu is worth it but dinner was reasonable and drinks were great.
Be the first to ReplyQuite the well designed Mediterranean styled space in Miami
Quite the well designed Mediterranean styled space in Miami Beach. Note - review is for the cocktail bar & live music / ambiance. There were many groups there for food but we did not partake. The space - located fairly central in Miami Beach. The space is deceptively large, with an intimate lounge style dining downstairs, two back rooms (ideal for large groups or events), main dining upstairs and casual hookah etc. space outside. All the spaces I saw were very nicely designed and intimate. Good for a date or friends meeting up. Price - it's Miami Beach. Expect a premium for the location, but it's not crazy if you're from a major city like LA or NYC. Drinks - great variety and very tasty. Got the Ottoman's Cartel that was refreshing with a slight kick of spice without being too sweet. Others enjoyed the rose gulab and old fashioned. Live Music - we were there for Frakment (DJ) and a guitarist who together did some amazing Lo-fi Arab music. Fit the vibe perfectly.

Such tasty and authentic Mediterranean food! We enjoyed the Brussels sprouts with halloumi cheese, Turkish dumplings filled with eggplant and topped with molasses, charred chicken with garlic aioli on a bed of lentils and two fantastic desserts that included a stuffed baklava with mint ice cream and dark chocolate and pistachio nougat, and the other dessert was a hazelnut mousse with toasted coconut. The restaurant offers a social, vibrant atmosphere and the interior looked straight out of Greece with clean backdrops of white walls combined with natural color tones and blue accents, textiles and beautiful linen furniture/seating! The staff was so friendly and wonderful at explaining dishes, answering questions and accommodating any requests!10/10 dining experience and we will for sure be returning!

Everything was excellent! Our server was helpful in guiding us through our meal choices. We got the Turkish dumplings, lamb ribs, kale and pear salad, and the duck breast. The staff is attentive and quick to refill your water and clean the table. The appetizers were the highlight of the meal, both the dumplings and lamb ribs were delicious. They both could be very heavy appetizers, but the flavors made the dishes taste light and refreshing. The pomegranate sauce on the ribs and the yogurt sauce on the dumplings, stole the show. We asked the server to leave our plate, you don't want to waste any of it.The duck and salad were good, and paired very well together. For desert we ordered the stuffed baklava which had honey, mint ice cream, and a dark chocolate gnash with sea salt- leave room for desert when you come here

Let's get the one negative out of the way -- the hostesses are rude. In a nearly empty restaurant, she gave us the worst possible table, 2nd floor near the kitchen. When we asked for a different spot, she just left us standing there, with an attitude. Minutes later, a server came by and seated us and everything went smoothly from there. The food was incredible, our server was amazing and the desserts were out of this world. We left happy and will come back (hopefully the hostesses will have improved their attitude).

We celebrated my daughter's birthday here and had the most exquisite meal. The service was warm and professional. We started out with the dumplings, duck kibbeh, and the truffle pide. The dumplings were simply mouth watering. For main course we shared the Persian Kale rice and Middle Eastern fried chicken, it slapped! We finished off with the pistachio stuffed baklava and blood orange sorbet. We enjoyed every bite!

We happened to visit Miami during Miami Spice week and had so many excellent meals.Byblos was on our first night and really stood out.The restaurant is gorgeous, the service impeccable. Server was very attentive and knowledgeable.Since we got the Miami Spice menu we were able to try so many items off the menu.Standouts were beet salad, Turkish manto, salmon, creamed spinach pide. Everything was great. My only criticism was the hamachi- it had too much going on and I could barely taste the fish. I would be back in a heartbeat to eat here again.

Anastasia was an amazing waitress and really knows her stuff. The wine choices were perfect. Highly recommend the lamp ribs! The salmon and rock shrimp rice were wonderful. This is definitely a repeat when we come back to Miami.

Be the first to ReplyGreat on ambiance, flavor, service! The Turkish dumplings
Great on ambiance, flavor, service! The Turkish dumplings had a flavor that I don't have the words to describe! Creamy, a hint of sweet a hint of savory and somehow so light. The lamb ribs were out of this world, a touch of spicy, strong flavor of lamb and so tender! The hummus had a fantastic texture and was so creamy. The pita it was served with was absolutely the best I've had, so soft and warm and the pistachio was fantastic. The ambiance was cozy and relaxed and I love the Middle Eastern touches like the lanterns and the "yalla" (let's go!) neon sign above the DJ. The outdoor seating is beautiful as well. The service was friendly, warm and helpful. The only thing I'll say is that the baklava might have been better with the honey ice cream over the mint it took a little bit away from it being baklava but the roll presentation was pretty cool. Also would love to see some Middle Eastern teas in some of the cocktails! Definitely want to go back to check out their spice menu!
