Upscale Italian restaurant with an elegant ambiance and delicious food. This is a lovely place for date. We have celebrated birthdays and anniversaries here. Servers are very friendly and always willing to accommodate your dietary preferences. Their patio seating is a nice option. Biscotti at the front desk is amazing. They validate parking for the adjacent Park 88 garage.

5 stars! The food was top tier! The lamb, OMG! The service amazing! I loved everything about this place, to the way the servers dressed and how cute it is inside.
Decided to celebrate boyfriends birthday here.
The table had cute set up of a birthday card. Service is great, food is amazing - the house made bread was warm and so soft. We orders the bruschetta- you get the trio and it was superb! Highly recommend.
Very good food very good service.
White tablecloth and waiters all addressed and what appears to be waiter tux. Even for lunch. Very expensive overall but a overall and excellent top shelf meal.
Lovely restaurant.
We had a large party and the service was great. I enjoyed - La Caprese with wonderful tasty tomatoes and Scaloppine Di Vitello Al Limone & Capperi.
I came here with my husband for an early Valentine's Day
I came here with my husband for an early Valentine's Day celebration dinner over the weekend. First impression was that the restaurant ambiance was great, and it felt very romantic inside. We checked in early but luckily we were able to get seated about 30 minutes early in the bar area. It took a while for us to get our orders taken, as the restaurant was super busy. We also didn't get a drink menu until quite a bit of time later. The service was great despite the slowness. The drinks here were okay. I would stick to wine or get something off the cocktail menu rather than ask them to make a drink. They weren't familiar with a specific drink so when it came out it was completely wrong and not made correctly. They fixed the problem by offering to redo it but my husband got a different drink instead. He said it was still just okay. The food was good but salty. I thought the vodka sauce for the salmon pasta was going to be a red pasta sauce but it was cream based which I was not a huge fan of (too heavy for me). The rigatoni bolognese was tasty, as were the meatballs and cheesecake dessert. The cheesecake was $18, so that was sticker shock for us when the bill came out because it was pretty small. I'd come back for another special occasion for the vibes only.

I came here to celebrate my wife's birthday and my son's first visit to my childhood city, Seattle! Carmines is an upscale Italian restaurant just outside of Bellevue Park and a short walk from the busy shopping malls like Bellevue Square and Lincoln Center. Street parking is hard to find and the surrounding area is dark at night, so use their $12 valet. Note the restaurant is NOT the same Carmine's at the one in New York or Caesars Palace Forum Shops in Vegas. We went to that Carmine's last November and those entrees were so big you need 3-4 adults to finish one. The Bellevue Carmine's has much smaller, but equally high-quality entrees. You'll have room for dessert for sure! The Vodka-Cream King Salmon with Penne is a superb dish, and yes its okay for toddlers too. The alcohol should mostly be evaporated leaving a rich, creamy sauce and super-soft and moist salmon (5 stars) Cedar Plank King Salmon is another wonderful preparation of you like things alacarte like me. Super moist Salmon with cheesy linguine on the side and asparagus and baby tomatoes are a winning combination. (5 stars). Wife got the pork chip, medium well. Good flavors but probably better cooked medium to squeeze some more juice out of the meat. It came with some nice risotto so you're not missing out on carbs (4 stars). For dessert, you can't go wrong with either the panna cotta or the red velvet cake. Our son ate a good portion of mom's birthday cake.
Sat at the bar - service was amazing.
Our bartender was Matt who was very knowledgeable about all the wines on the menu and trust me there are a lot! We settled on red wine to start and dessert wine (a 10 year old tawny port and a 38 year old sherry) which were very reasonably priced. I would try the vanilla layer cake if they still have it - it's a special on the menu and was available when we were dining there. It's not too sweet and is the best vanilla cake I've had!

LOVE this restaurant!! Food is great and service is top notch!! Although the noise level is very loud on busy nights - that was the only drawback for us. I'm working my way through their menu, we're just making an effort to go when it's not so crowded/loud. Parking is easy due to valet (they don't validate btw) - otherwise it's a challenge to find a spot. Very busy little mixed-use neighborhood with a beautiful park across the way. Nice to take a brief walk after eating your meal at Carmines! This is one of our top 10 on the east side - definitely recommend!

We tried the squid ink Capellini, but it had an overpowering fishy taste, and the noodles were overcooked--soft and overly mushy texture Not recommended. Service was satisfactory, and the other dish was decent, but unfortunately, this particular one fell short of our expectations.
Carmine's was a wonderful experience while we were staying
Carmine's was a wonderful experience while we were staying at Atlantis. Resort/island pricing is a bit "extra", but at Carmine's it's worth it. We had a cocktail and glass of wine at the bar while we waited for our table. We were lucky enough to be on the patio by the fireplaces and surrounded by lights. Our server was great. Carmine's is served family style, so one order serves 4-5 people. We began with the Caesar salad and it was AMAZING!!! A must order!! We also ordered the lemon chicken and rigatoni in vodka sauce. They were both delicious! There were 4 of us and we still took home leftovers. The tiramisu was only okay... I make mine from scratch, so I may be a bit spoiled, though. Overall, a wonderful dinner! Definitely recommend! (BTW, the tap water is just fine there and doesn't cost $12 a bottle!)

Excellent Food but Noisy
Food was excellent. Service was superb. But the Noise level made conversation very difficult. If you want quieter ask for an outside table next to the gas heaters.
Superior food, service and ambiance for our 43rd wedding anniversary. If you like good food, and Italian cuisine, this is your
My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary and I can't think of a finer local restaurant in which to have our celebration. We are lovers of Italian food, and Carmine's has among the best. The calamari appetizer was the best I've had in my nearly half-century of eating it. Thus was the only time calamari was not served rbbery or tough, but rather was soft, tender and beautifully done. The veal scallopini and canelloni were excellent. The tiramisu and spumoni were also top notch with small, sweet cherries on the side of the spunoni. Our server, Matthew, was extremely professional, friendly, and proud of his team's work. We can't recommend it highly enough.
food ok but quite overprice and pretentious
This is a decent Italian restaurant, though the pretentious service and certainly the final check suggests it's something special. It's actually an absolutely regular Italian trattoria in terms of food - which is a welcome thing in Bellevue with its rather dull food scene, and had they sold themselves as such I would have rated it higher - but a top quality Italian restaurant it ain't.
Savory Success: A Culinary Journey for Biz Lunch
This was a ladies business lunch for two. It was a beautiful day with people strolling by the adjacent park. Most diners opted for outside dining beneath the pergola. We were seated inside in the great room, where it was less busy, so we could enjoy a conversation. Warm, crusty bread was quickly set on the table as we read the menu. So many tasty options, it was difficult to decide on the dish. She opted for a Caesar salad and cannelloni with ricotta and spinach. I opted for pasta with vodka sauce and handmade fennel sausage. The sauces were rich, savory, and had wonderful flavors & textures. Absolutely delicious. Portions were generous. A perfect business lunch. We will visit again.
Like dining while the plane is taking off.
Had not been for a few years as the last visit was just OK, but our good neighbor picked for a night out together. First impression on a Tuesday night-super busy at 6 PM. This restaurant and the general area was hopping! Second impression was that the pandemic is totally over. The tables are tight and the whole area set up for maximum guests. Our waiter even requested we move our table from the original setup so staff could have a passage to get around. Third, other reviewers comments about the noise do not do it justice. Felt like 90dB. I never get headaches, but by the end of the evening had a low grade throbbing and could not wait to leave let alone consider dessert. We were at a square table for 4. Could not hear my wife to the right (think about when you hear about every 3rd word and have to guess to fill in the rest of the sentence.) Guest to the right wanted to wear a mask, but in order to be understood this was impossible and I had to lean to within about 20 inches away to have a conversation. Forget about hearing anything from the person across from me. If you wish to have conversation you are much better with the outdoor seating option, though people have to walk past you to get to the entrance/exit door. Service was efficient, but perfunctory. Food was average (below for my wife). Perhaps we were jaded by eating in Turin last fall. Calamari came out almost instantly, hot and crisp- My wife thought batter was a bit hard (she prefers the same dish at Daniel's broiler). Osso Bucco ($57) was surprisingly dry. Wife felt the flavor was lacking. More tomato notes than wine braising that she was expecting. I tried some of the marrow which had a somewhat off putting staleness. My risotto with crab and mushroom was not artful-a bit of a glob on the plate. The mushroom flavors were prominent, but other than detecting the texture of crab it did not lend any flavor to the dish. If you wish for a beer it only comes from a bottle or can. Pandemic has seen a dramatic increase in restaurant pricing with smaller portions and lesser quality regionwide. So per couple in the end about $270 for 2 Osso Bucco, pesto and risotto and a calamari appatizer. No drinks, dessert or other extras. Though I always tip at the 20% level, I do appreciate that Carmine's does not do the "20% mandatory added service fee-please feel free to tip more to your server, and by the way we need to add on sales tax to that" that seems to be so pervasive now.

Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue? |
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!
