CAVA Boston Reviews from The Last Year
These bowls have so much flavor and taste to them.
The ingredients are super fresh and amazing and the sauce is an amazing flavor add as well. I loved the harissa vinaigrette and had a wonderful taste of spice. Overall, would recommend coming to this place.
This was my first time trying out Cava and it was a blast.
I had to give myself a couple of minutes to try to decide what I want cause everything sounded sooo good. I got one of the bowls and pita chips. The price was a bit on the higher side but they delivered with the portion size and the taste. The pita chips are a have to. Eating them with the bowl definiely elevates the taste and experience of the bowl adding a lot of crunch and texture. The environment was pretty good. It had a sleek wooden vibe to it and customer service was pretty good too.
Cava Experience
Cava is a great restaurant concept that focuses on greek food with a fast casual concept. It is very enjoyable. I will return
My Cava Experience
Really enjoy CAVA. Very nice team members and consistent management. I frequent here often and always feel welcomed. The staff seems happy and motivated. They are attentive and I don't feel rushed although they are moving quickly.

The BEST cava!!! The service is immaculate and the food is to die for. The portion sizes are huge. My go to place for sure. Best CAVA in Boston by far
Cava!
this Cava is really tasty and consistent food! The staff is always very friendly and make me feel welcomed. The restaurant seems well maintained and managed. Kudos!
No 👎🏼
The place is not very clean and tidy, both the tables and the counter where the salads are prepared, poor service with arrogant staff..., Decent salads but... just because of the rudeness of the staff I recommend another place
Cava is, in my opinion, one of the best fast casual chains
Cava is, in my opinion, one of the best fast casual chains on the market. Their food is filling without being too heavy or greasy, nutritionally well-balanced, and delicious. Their order-down-the-line style is efficient and well run, their toppings (I regularly get 15!) offer great variety, and their bowls are easily portable for take out or dine-in. My personal top recs are: - Black lentils base - Eggplant dip - Roasted vegetables (great for if you're vegetarian or just love roasted veggies) - Honey chicken (tender, with a not too sweet flavor) - All the toppings (they're all so good, and there isn't a limit to the number you can get) But you really can't go wrong with any of the choices!
First time visiting this restaurant.
(3 of us). Wonderful service and very fresh, mouthwatering food choices. From the moment we entered we knew it was a good choice. It was a Tuesday evening about 9:30 pm and everything was still appealing to the eye and the senses. Often when it is near closing it can be messy, dried out and past time of serving. Not the case here. They were still very busy handling to go orders and in person orders. They took time to make sure new customers that entered were greeted and current customers waiting were checked on. No one seemed to mind the wait as they were actively working as quick and efficiently as possible. They worked well together, were polite to each other and did not let the stress of so much work at once show. I was not familiar with the choices but I was with the process of ordering and layering my meal. I spent a few moments reading the menus above the station as well as the cards attached to the glass by the different offerings. Even so the employee who served me made sure to take a moment to explain what they had and offer his suggestions when I wasn't sure what to get. What a wonderful experience and fabulous meal. I found value in the food for the price and felt as if I had been served a meal personally as a valued guest. Thank you, we will definitely be back.
Had cava for lunch today and got food poisoning.
Also the workers are really rude and you can tell they hate their jobs :/

It may just be the Cava at Derby Street Hingham, but I have yet to have a 100% satisfaction rating. The few times I ordered delivery, the free pita was never included and there was always some omission of ingredients. Yesterday I decided to order and pick up since I had accrued some points for a good discount. Well, surely the discount didn't get figured in on the online order. When I went in to pick up I had to wait a while for someone to acknowledge my presence despite the fact it was pretty empty in there. I guess they think if they ignore me long enough I'll go away? Finally some man (maybe a manager) addressed my question about applying the discount. He couldn't figure it out and advised I call customer service. . Then I pointed out that the pita wasn't included and he said, "well I can help you with that!" And proceeded to dig his dirty gloved hand into a metal heating apparatus and pull one out and wrap it in packaging. This is so unsanitary seeing as he was lugging around some bucket earlier. I'm not a complainer, but this is just a bad store in a very pretentious little strip mall. Another store I'm done supporting. This guy could have re ring the meal and applied the points, but clearly he couldn't be bothered. There's no above and beyond at Cava at derby shoppes!

Food is pretty good but pretty Luke warm, including the drinks. The people working there look like and behave like that really hate there jobs; I feel for them but you shouldn't reflect that on people that are polite towards you. I try to order off the menu and I guess some of the staff seem clueless as to what I'm ordering half the time and just proceed to make me make my own bowl with whatever I want in it... Which works I guess for some, but not for those that aren't familiar with the items they have. The store is clean enough. I'll stick to the location near Fenway instead. Hopefully this store gets it together.
I have seen the most Perfect and friendly staff ever
I have seen the most Perfect and friendly staff ever specially man named Bernard, I will continue to visit that place after such a exceptional experience !
the workers were beyond rude to my friends and I.
The workers gave us dirty looks and exasperated sighs when we paused for two seconds to read the menus. I also did not have a good experience with the food itself- I asked for lentils and did not receive them + my food was freezing cold.
We had a good experience at this Cava location.
Apparently, it's a chain but their food was really good and didn't feel standardized due to the many options you can choose from. I had a Greek chicken bowl with RightRice which was delicious. All of the ingredients were really fresh, and it was filling while feeling healthy at the same time. My husband enjoyed his spicy lamb meatball bowl, which had just the right amount of heat. They have a nice drink menu; we had fun mixing and matching the juice and tea options. Try half blueberry lavender and half cucumber lime mint - yum! Service was good, very businesslike. We'd eat here again if we return to Boston.
Another try. Another nightmare!
What is wrong with this Cava? It seems like the staff wasn’t paying attention to the work they do. I placed my order on the app. 15 minutes in advance for takeout. When I got there, they haven’t even started making my order. It passed the promised ready time. He didn’t even prepare my order right. My order was missing a lot of ingredients! It was missing everything besides chickens and arugula. I am so mad. I paid $11.75 before tax for just some chicken and arugula? Where is my tomatoes, cucumbers, pickled onion, corns, spinach, cucumber and romaine? 😣 terrible

Wow. I was blown away by Cava's customer service at the 125 Summer Street, Boston location. Jeff, the general manager, is fantastic and incredibly kind. So refreshing coming from NY. Will be coming back!
The food is good, but the portion was tiny for the price.
I made my own bowl with romaine, hummus, harissa, harissa honey chicken, fiery broccoli, cucumbers, and pickles. The line moved pretty quickly.
I went to the Cava in my first time and they treat me like

Prepaid Reservation Fee

When you sell a reservation that has a prepaid fee AT takes a commission on that fee. This doesn’t really make sense because it’s an expense the seller incurs not part of the profit that is shared.
For example:
Carbone NYC fee to book table for 2 is $108.88
If you sell it for $200 on AT you get $140 from them.
Your net profit is $31 and AT collects $60 in fees.
It would make more sense not to charge commission on the upfront fee as this creates a disincentive and results in higher costs for buyers.

Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
