Great lunch spot in tribeca.
Amazing chicken and waffles. Nice aperol spritz and other cocktails.
Be the first to ReplyThis place is mediocre at best (service and food quality).
All 4 of us got the fried chicken sandwich. Food was lukewarm when they were served. Food probably sat a while as it did take forever to get there. Place was less than half full for lunch which should have been a clue... There are other choices in Tribeca ...

We made a reservation for Sunday morning and my friend said they didn't have much opening except 11:45am. So we took it. However, while we were there, literally only 2 tables occupied inside and only us in the patio. Maybe they were short staff? It seems like that's a common problem everywhere after Covid 19 from 2020 Decor outside is so cute so we decided to sit outside. Inside decor is just standard, nothing special. The food is a huge disappointment considered all the good reviews everywhere. We order: Match latte-not strong enough and flavor is very mild. The cocktail waters is good to m Burger-6/10; just ok Chicken and waffle-5/10. chicken finger is just ok. The waffle is just not good Steak and egg-8/10. probably the best of all 3 dishes. Steak is tender and not chewy. Flavor is decent. The 4 stars is really for the service. My friend wrote it on her reservation that the brunch is for our friend's bday. The waiter is attentive enough to read her reservation note and brought out a slice of lemon cake for us. The lemon cake is 8/10 originally. But with the extra touch from the waiter is 10/10! I wish I remember his name and want to thank him for his good heart!

Came here for brunch and thought the food was just average also I found out this place was shut down for a week less than a month ago because the health department found rats and bugs.. I guess we should have done research beforehand. We did like the overall vibe & service.

My friends booked this brunch place for belated birthday celebration. Upon arriving the restaurant, the outdoor decors were beautiful and adorable, they have artificial flower arches all around the restaurant and it's definitely an instagram photo spot. We ordered the steak and egg, chicken and waffle, and Chanson burger. Food was mediocre, not too good and not too bad. What surprised us was that our waiter brought us a piece of lemon cake as a complimentary gift for my birthday. Turned out my friend put a little note when she was reserving our table as a belated birthday celebration and they actually read the note and paid attention! That deserved 5 stars. You would be surprised how many actually don't read the notes.

There was some nice flowers decorating the exterior of this place along with a fun arch and bench for pictures. Inside there is a modern vibe as well. We went for brunch but most of us were not looking to get tipsy. It's unfortunate that we had to choose an all or nothing approach to the the bottomless mimosa option. So we decided to all get different drinks. The French martini was refreshing, next was the aperol spritz, and the bellini was was too strong. The special drink called the crystal waters which is a gin and tonic concoction with a flower petal on top. There was way too much gin in that drink but at almost $18 per drink we weren't going to try and send it back. Now the online menu and the menu given were different. The presented menu had much less options to choose from. I ended up getting the creme Brule French toast. It's literally a 3 inch piece of bread that is glazed on top. The inside was pretty tasteless beside eggs. We had to also ask for a side of syrup. The chicken sandwich is boring besides the gruyere cheese. The only dish I think was good was the eggs Benedict. What we had heard made this place special was the blooming tea. We had to try it. It's literally a flower in hot water. It looks kind of cool but i thought there was supposed to be some blooming theatrics to go along with its arrival. Again I had to ask for honey to make it appealing. Pet peave the hostess asks if there is a birthday in the group but fails to relay the message to the wait staff. Come dessert time we mention it to our waitor who brings us a delicious piece of raspberry cheesecake. We also ordered the Tira misu which was also good. I would not recommend this place unless you are looking for a boozy brunch with a nice ambiance.

Came here previously before with my friend for bottomless and it was good except the chicken we had for chicken and waffles was raw. but the waffles was still good. I came back for my mothers bday since it was p good the first time on a Tuesday at 2:30. Nobody was there basically empty restaurant. They took 30-40 minutes to serve us the dishes we had ordered after rushing us that the kitchen will be closed soon. the Ube latte just tasted like milk w a hint of ube. Chicken was raw ONCE again. this time the waffle was like a dry piece of chip. Disappointed because the waffle was actually good the first time. The steak over cooked, & ontop of that it looked like they gave us the burnt end pieces of the steak like they ate the good middle pieces of it. Lobster omelette, had the be the driest omelet I ever had. and the lobster was so over cooked ir was like eating rubber. They ended our meal with some free pastries from their pastry case for my moms bday. I'm a pastry chef myself and they gave us an eclair. The eclair was so stale it tasted as if it's been sitting in the case for 4+ days. The server barely showed up at our table and we constantly had to go walk over and GRAB him ourselves. Also after bringing my chicken in they had the audacity to tell me the chicken was not raw . I literally cook myself this shit was raw. I do not recommend coming after this awful experience.

Came for bottomless brunch for a friend's birthday - we had a large group (~11 people) so we had to do a pre-fixed menu. The ambiance was great, the interior was nicely decorated, and the servers were also super friendly and funny! I think the food was pretty average, nothing that really stood out but the presentation for everything was really nice: Deviled eggs: 3/5 this was my time trying deviled eggs and it was good, but seemed pretty standard. Avocado toast: 3/5 nothing special about this - it's just a standard avocado toast. Creme brulee french toast: 4/5 I think this was probably my favorite thing on the menu. The cream was light and fluffy, and it was served with a lot of berries. Croissant sandwiches: 2/5 didn't get a picture of these, but it was basic bacon and egg sandwich with croissant as the bun. The bacon was really dry unfortunately and the eggs had no seasoning. It just tasted like I was eating a plain croissant. Overall, I wouldn't come here for the food itself, but the mimosas and the vibes were great. I would probably come back if I was coming with a group of friends again and only doing the bottomless mimosas.

Came here in a huge group with a bunch of friends for a birthday! Had a blast but noticed a few things. I can only speak for the bottomless mimosa menu so your experience may vary. Food- 3/5 The reason I'm rating it this low is because the food had nothing that stood out. The deviled eggs were good and that's all they had going for their whole menu. The avocado toast were sad to say the least. There was close to no bread to hold onto. The bacon egg croissant that is not pictured here tasted dry and they were breaking apart while eating. The French toast was dry sad and had minimal taste. Service- 4/5 The waiters were all kind and funny. They had a few party trucks but nothing stood out for us. I barely got enough cups at the table for the amount of people in our party. Even until the end we were missing 1-2 cups. Ambiance- 5/5 My group and I were super loud and we had great people around us. Even when we went to the bathroom the other customers in line were equally as chatty. Good environment for a nice weekend brunch! Would I come again? Sure if it's with a group and we're drinking. Would I come here to try their food menu? Eh. Maybe if I were in a pinch.
Be the first to ReplySo much fun at Sat brunch with the girls.
We did the unlimited mimosa add on. They leave a bottle of Prosecco at your table and provide mixers. This is key for me as I'm not a fan of juice so was able to drink straight Prosecco. Food was yummy and our server was friendly and added to the experience.

If I could give this place 100 stars I would!!! Amazing amazing amazing!! Great atmosphere! Amazing mimosas!!! Delicious food !! Would recommend everyone to come here!!! Reservation are definitely recommended!! Coming in expecting a table for brunch might be a slim to none or very long wait. Totally worth the reservation. Main reason I'll be returning is for the hostess Olga!! She was above and beyond. From the start she gave us amazing experience. Beyond accommodating!! She honestly the main reason I'm writing this review. She was 10/10! First time in 30 years I've met someone who enjoys what the do!! Loved her and totally coming back just to see her again!!

Since this place has come in I do a visit about once a month and every time I'm disappointed. The issue used to be management but now every time I come In the managers are not there until after 3 pm, if they do show, and when I got to speak with them it was very clear they were not aware of what they were doing. Continuously asking employees simple menu questions and walking around like they built the place. I could not even convince them to lower the music despite my hearing condition that makes it hard to track noise, so peripheral noise makes dining almost impossible. One of the worst dining experiences in tribeca to this day.

The interior decor also amazing. I came here for brunch with a friend and the menu head so many great options which means I have to come back. Service was great so was the location.

Average brunch place where the price was definitely not worth it. The grilled cheese and tomato soup was decent but didn't blow me away.

Sucha nice spot, going to come back for desserts in the future!Loved the flight of juices for brunch, they were so refreshing! Everything was good and filled us up easily. The set up of this place is very classy so if family is in town or looking for a date option, this is good for both! We were sitting close to outside which was a good spot to enjoy the weather but being over there I didn't even notice the case of pastries until much later. There are so many cute items in the case there plus some good sandwich items that'd be good to go so that's what I'll be back for.Service was very helpful and nice to us that day (:

Transport to Paris without leaving NYC In the heart of Tribeca, here is this beautiful French cafe with gorgeous views of World Trade Center, delicious brunch foods and unlimited Four Seasons Mimosas!Ok, those Mimosas deserve their own feature! You get served a full bottle of ProseccoPlus 4 different juices (grapefruit, cranberry, pineapple and orange - four seasons) to create a mimosa of your liking! It's unlimited and is $35 per personFor food we had Norwegian salmon croissant (delicious!) and crepes with blueberries - I liked them a lot because they were thin like my Mom makes them :), not like thicker American pancakes For desserts we ordered chocolate eclair which was my fav, and earl grey chocolate mousse Both worth trying!Carla took great care of us throughout our visit and was very nice!Thank you for an amazing visit @chansonlesalon @patisseriechanson, we are looking forward to come back already!Dear Fellow Traveler, thank you for reading all the way through this review, I hope it was helpful :) if you have questions about the restaurant, want to see more photos and videos or just want to say Hi, feel free to reach out to my INSTA @daria.newyork Cheers to good people, magnificent places and unique experiences!

Chanson is such a beautiful choice for pastries and brunch! My friend and I did the Four Seasons Mimosa with our brunch, which is a unique option for unlimited mimosas. They bring out a flight of different juices for you to mix with prosecco, so you can get different flavors in for your unlimited drinks! The food is really good as well. I go crazy for a croissant sandwich, so luckily they had a couple options! I went with the egg and bacon croissant sandwich entree, which was delicious and really filling. For dessert, we opted for the fruit tart and and blood orange and earl grey mousse tart. I couldn't decide which was better --both were mouth watering goodness. Also, shout out to our server who was so kind and hilarious. I didn't get his name but he gave us some good laughs.

I've been coming over the last two months and the food and drink menu is really tasty and well priced. The music playlist could be more consistent and the lights could be lowered for a better ambience.
Be the first to ReplyTwo stars but only for location and decor.
The food is completely overpriced and subpar... we had brunch there and nothing was great. The rice bowl is probably designed for monks (who also eat chicken), it was so tasteless and lacked flavor in many ways. I can't believe they charged me $22 for blanched vegetables. Never ever again.
