Lovely lunch in an interesting area.
Visited early on a Saturday for lunch. Staff were friendly and helpful, food excellent. A nice touch having a DJ made brunch fun for all ages.

Great food, staff and atmosphere. My favourite restaurant! I would definitely recommend trying if you haven't already.
Be the first to ReplyGreat Food, fantastic location, excellent service
Dined at the Cinnamon Kitchen after a shopping trip to Battersea, great service from friendly staff and the food was really excellent, really well cooked and tasty - this is not your average Indian, recommended
Be the first to ReplyBhang-ing Brunch
Three female middle aged friends attended the Bhangra DJ Brunch. Everything about this brunch was outstanding. The restaurant location is nice, close to the river and tube station. Easily reached from Victoria main line. The DJ provided good ambience as background, service was the perfect tone of attentive and there was no rush to return the table. Speed of each dish was perfectly timed. The food was outstanding for taste, quality and value. Cocktails were decent and well presented. Service was impeccable.

We shared the 7 course dining menu for lunch which was bought as a gift. The ambience is lovely with efficient, friendly waiting staff, particularly Kalyan. The kitchen is open so can see the chefs working. Every dish was really tasty and although as expected, some were spicy, none were too hot. The wine list and other drinks available is pretty good too. The prices, for London are not unreasonable. We were not rushed at all and were in the restaurant for nearly two and a half hours. There are other menus available of course. It was one of the best sharing menus we have ever eaten anywhere! Also noticed the waiting staff being really good with a small child in a highchair which makes all the difference to parents. Overall a wonderful dining experience- thank you
Be the first to ReplyDelicious food and faultless service
My boyfriend and I had a brilliant meal here last night. We arrived 30 minutes early and asked if we could be seated and the team had no trouble finding us a table. The service throughout the meal was seamless - Kalyan was friendly and attentive and made some great food recommendations including the Bhel Papdi and Kashmiri Lamb Shank. Food was really tasty and good value. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a lovely evening.

Be the first to ReplyAtmospheric drinks
My husband and I stopped in the seating area outside for some drinks with our dog - the area was lively with lots of passers by. The drinks were reasonably priced and we tried the curried popcorn. The restaurant itself was very busy and the food looked good - I would like to return to try it. We noticed some others take their dogs into the restaurant and were particularly pleased about that.
Be the first to ReplyGreat food and great service
Visited on a Friday night, lovely atmosphere and food was so delicious. Our waiter Kalyan in particular was so helpful and friendly - our friend was running late but he made sure we had enough drinks etc whilst we waited and also organised our food to come out for when she arrived. Really recommend the paneer curry and the garlic naan!

The restaurant had a great atmosphere and the staff were extremely efficient and friendly. The food was really delicious. I would not hesitate to recommend this place.
Be the first to ReplyPoor dining experience
This is the second time we have visited this restaurant. When we went yesterday it was much more busy than the first time. Service, atmosphere and drinks were all good as were our prawn starters and my husband's main course. However, I had tandoori prawns for main and they were not at all nice. They were all mushy around the edges and had the consistency of wet bread. We complained and were thanked for letting them know but no refund of the main course was offered. With that kind of attitude when a customer complains we won't be back.

My first visit to this establishment and I was not disappointed. I particularly liked the the lamb dishes for my main course - the saddle of lamb and lamb shank. Wonderfully cooked and tasty sauces. Definitely a place to come back to
Be the first to ReplyNice relaxed lunchtime meal good mix of food
We had a family lunchtime meal and chose the mixed menu an excellent selection of dishes, well served and timely spacing , the lunchtime music was a little loud but we should have asked to be seated further back.

An amazing day out in Battersea rounded off with a meal here. Staff were super attentive - Anastasia was first class. The food was divine and we couldnโt eat another thing We will return
Be the first to ReplyExcellent food, great service and good value you.
We visited the battersea restaurant for my husband's birthday, we arrived half and hour early, they managed to seat us, the service was quick and the food arrived in minutes. It was a Saturday early evening and the place was just starting to buzz. The food was outstanding a good selection of food on the menu. The starters were lovely and the main dishes were fantastic. We would go back, we will try the Liverpool Street location next time just because its easier to get to and to try the taster menu. I reserved my table with open table and its was easy and had no problems. At the end of the evening the waitress brought over a birthday cake for my husband free of charge because i mentioned his birthday when i reserved the table. Thank you it was a lovely touch.

booked via thefork with an offer, they tried to make me pay more. I found it a little silly and pointless really
Be the first to ReplyIt will be our favourite Indian restaurant
Had a great time and excellent food. Had been to quite a few Indians recently it is by far our favourite. Very kind and attentive staff as well. Will definitely be back!
Be the first to ReplyLovely food, deceptive location
I booked this restaurant from the Battersea Power Station website and was so surprised when we arrived to realise itโs neither in nor really near the power station, which appears to be flats and not open to the public. The welcome was warm, the food interesting, but everything felt very quick and the mains were very spicy, despite us asking when we ordered how hot they would be and told not very, the cauliflower was incredibly spicy. Despite having mains and puddings, we were in and out in under an hour, so we were left feeling slightly underwhelmed, added to the odd location. The staff though were all very friendly and flavours interesting.

First time that I have dined here, I was with 7 work colleagues. 6 chose the ยฃ42 set taster menu, myself and a colleague opted for the a La carte menu. I selected the tandoori chicken as a starter and the venison as main meal. Absolutely delicious, albeit the chicken was a tad too hot for me, so requested a yoghurt dip to cool it down. I did taste some of my friends dishes, loved the lamb, as it was so tender, I also liked chickpea dish. Waiter service was OK, and the atmosphere was fabulous. A couple of the vegan dishes were not brought, we had to raise this, plus one of the plates was chipped so asked for another plate. We would have preferred if the taster dishes were for 2 people instead of putting them in fewer dishes to serve 4, as our party were wary of how much to take each, whereas if portions were for 2 they knew it was half each. Their service charge was hefty at ยฃ57, thankfully it was discretionary therefore we left ยฃ25 instead, which we thought was a fair service charge

Be the first to ReplyIndian fare, nicely presented
Overall, these were not the Indian flavours I am used to finding in the Midlands, but a companion was craving biryani, ate both the lamb and chicken at different meals and was very pleased.

Wife and I received an I"ndytute" Lunch voucher from a relative at xmas. We purchased and extra voucher for some freinds as part of a day trip to London some. As others have mentioned. the surroundings were great albeit in our case the weather was a little overcast. The Indytute menu is slightly different from the main menu although the standard of cuisine was excellent Starters, the samosa chat with curried chickpeas and chutney was delicious. Others had the fish and whilst it was nice, I thing the samosa was the big favourite. The blend of spice was perfect for all in our party. the Lamb Rogan Josh was superb with succulent pieces of meet and a balance sauce with Pilau rice. I was looking forward to the garamasala sticky toffee pudding but was a little disappointed. Since we all had the same dessert, none in our party could taste any of the spice in mine . Looking at other online menus from this restaurant, perhaps the Indytute menu is a little out of date. I notice ginger sticky toffee pudding and that is probably what we received. an unhurried dining experience with friends and good food, Excellent!!

The service was poor. Everyone waited 30 minutes for a drink. 1 member of staff behind the bar for a birthday party with close friends. Really embarrassing and they should be ashamed of themselves. Service charge my back side!

Great meal and lovely service would recommend to anyone looking for a step up from a standard Indian. Rogan and samosas were pick of the meal for us
Be the first to ReplyFantastic
We went there for Valentineโs Day when they were offering a fixed price menu. It was excellent, particularly the chicken and lamb starters. It was priced very reasonably too. We will certainly go back to sample their full menu.
Our waitress was cheerful and attentive. Huge shout out too for their mixologist who makes superb cocktails.
Itโs a good looking place with a great atmosphere too. The restaurant is a great use of space underneath railway lines.
