Dinner with a view in Italian style
Perfect location for an evening with family or friends. Qualified staff, good service. The cuisine is very close to Italian cuisine. Very extensive menu with traditional Cipriani dishes and also sushi. Wine list of equally high quality. They do not accept dogs.

We had a very nice time at this restaurant. Our mushroom risotto was heavenly. The Tiramisu was amazing. But the ravioli was really bad. It had no flavour. I mean if they can mess up a simple ravioli it reflects badly on the chef. You know chef has messed up when they mess up simple dishes. Service was nice and staff attentive. It’s quite overpriced but view is nice.
Be the first to ReplyTerrible Experience ! Do not order the steak tartare.
Terrible experience ! We went there for our Anniversary and my husband ordered the Steak Tartare amongst other things. Which Michelin Restaurant put mayonnaise in their steak tartare ! Absolutely terrible and making the meat extremely slimy and tasteless. Being French, trust me I have had this many times and this was the worst steak tartare I have ever tasted in my life. When asked by our waitress my husband informed her that the meal was horrible and pushed it aside after two bites of it. She then proceeded to take away the plate. However when paying the bill we were charged for the Steak Tartare which is absurd and very arrogant ! This is in bad taste and highly disappointing. Who does that ?! We will definitely Not be rushing back there.

For those who know Cipriani, they know that the style for its locations is always impeccable, in fact as a location nothing to say, but unfortunately the dinner was not up to the standard of the place, furthermore a sort of double menu is provided for those wishing to order sushi I consider this choice to serve sushi a fall in style for the Cipriani group. I hope that this Japanese option which borders on the ridiculous in an Italian restaurant will be eliminated.
Be the first to ReplyHorrible service. And cacio e Pepe done with parmigiano!
I brought my family here (parents, wife and daughter) and I am Italian. I used to bring here my clients. The service this time was terrible. The waiter kept insisting I am Romanian, although I was explicitly asking to speak with someone who speaks Italian. Cacio e Pepe was done with parmigiano (it is supposed to be done with pecorino Romano, a specific kind of pecorino from Sardinia which has more seasoning and salt added in Rome). The waiters removed our wine once, and I stopped them as the glasses had wine left. Then I went to play with my little daughter and when I was back my parents were pissed and all our wine glasses disappeared. I asked to speak with someone who is Italian. It took me a while as they tried to let me speak with everyone else (although they were promising me to speak with someone who speaks Italian multiple times). Then, the only Italian speaking waiter came to me. He is nice and off course would have never endorsed something like this. The bottom line: avoid this place if you are Italian or you know what you can expect from an Italian restaurant. In bocca al lupo.
Be the first to ReplySemi-Italian and Japanese restaurant
Restaurant with a beautiful view of the port of Yas Island in Abu Dhabi at night I was going to eat for the New Year, very beautiful view of the fireworks, the restaurant mixes Japanese and Italian in terms of choice you can have good pizza and pasta like sushi or maki the prices are not that affordable but still good I find it a bit of a shame that it is mixing Japanese and Italian which does not allow them to concentrate on a single culture. Overall Good restaurant with good staff and a beautiful view.
Be the first to ReplyVery overpriced!
Very overpriced, no atmosphere, over tentative safe, food mediocre! We were not given any time to browse the menu and rushed throughout the meal. Would not recommend.
Be the first to ReplyGreat experience!
I celebrated my birthday at the restaurant, they gave me the best table and an unforgettable dining experience! Pita was very attentive and took care of me the whole dinner. The food was to die for and the wine was elegant! I was genuinely surprised when they gave me a birthday cake. You made my birthday extra special and I still feel humbled ❤️
Be the first to ReplyWorst experience
Staff were not friendly which was unusual as we visited other branches of Cipriani around the world.. not recommend. We found a hair on one of the dishes under the veal they just apologized and say when “we serve it it wasn't there”
Be the first to ReplyFar too oily and heavy - chef needs to reconsider
I've dined at cipriani 4 times now because I really like the ambiance. But the food is constantly dissappointing. It's almost like the chef thinks "the fatter the better". The grilled wagyus are drenched in oil, potato wedges on the side are 200 kcal each, tortelloni were literally swimming in butter. Black cod was also very fatty and oily. Tempura shrimp was good.. Cipriani needs to urgently reconsider it's cooking and also make sure that table clothes are ironed the current ones look like linen out of a washing machine Generally Cipriani needs to seriously

I really enjoyed dining at this restaurant. The service was excellent. I would like to thank our waitresses Diana for serving us. The food and wine was delicious.
Be the first to ReplyPrivate Dining Party
This was my first time dining at Cipriani. I was invited to a friends birthday celebration. We were in a private room which was absolutely beautifully decorated to a high standard with lush furnishings. The room had a lovely atmosphere. Food: our party organizer had arranged a set menu. Family style starters (my favorite was the eggplant) and then a main of veal or salmon. My salmon melted in the mouth. It was nice to dine somewhere that had their seasoning just right. Desserts: I was already stuffed by this point, but we were given a selection on the table. I tucked into the tiramisu. It was heaven on a plate! The staff were all very professional too and could not do enough for us. They made the night extra special. I will be bringing my husband there to dine!

Great experience. I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to MOSTAFA for been very friendly, patient and attentive. The meal service was fast and the food was delicious. The best place to be in Abudhabi
Be the first to ReplySuperb Food, ambience and service but very costly!
A very good Ambiance with excellent service, the staff were very cooperative smiling all the time and quick, the food was of high quality and very delicious but be aware that the cost is very high, check it out before you order.
Be the first to ReplyA waste of time and money
A horrible experience! What a waste of time and money. To start, although we had a reservation, we had to wait for 15min to get our table. The food quality is below average by all means, the presentation, temperature and taste not even close to a small coffee shop. We were two couples and none of us enjoyed any part of the menu items we have ordered. The spaghetti with lobster was put of taste, the lobster was undercooked. The wagyu fillet was for sure a normal grass fed angus and never close to wagyu. Furthermore, the service was horrible, the waitress Sherine was in a hurry, she was removing untouched plates as if she wants us to leave, she was throwing the plates on the table as if someone was forcing her to work here. Her grumpy face was definitely a killer for our night so we left the place hungry after paying a considerable bill and left to a more respectable place to continue our evening.

Worst restaurant in Yas Marina
We are trying all the restaurant in Yas Marina and Yas Bay and this one is with deference the worst
Unacceptable service and food
Unimpressive, underwhelming, and overpriced
I was excited. It was my birthday meal. Italian food is my happy place. And I don't mind a bit of fancy on special occasions. Sadly, Cipriani was a total disappointment.
You enter into what resembles an airport lounge. It's stark and brightly lit, with a cold and uninviting atmosphere. The tables outside - where the vibe was much nicer - were full, so we took a seat in the bar lounge and waited while perusing the confused and unimpressive menu. The in-room dining menus at most hotels have a wider "Italian" selection. Margherita or salami pizza, minestrone soup, and apple pie... dial zero for staid.
We ordered:
The vitello tonnato - reminiscent of sandwich meat and dripping in mayo.
The tagliolini- a glorified, soggy mac and cheese. Essentially overcooked angel hair pasta. When we asked about the consistency, we were told you can't cook this pasta al dente. Having lived in Italy for years with an Italian family, I was surprised by this fact. A quick internet search contradicted this response from the defensive and disingenuous manager.
The aubergine alla parmigiana- one of my favourite dishes- butchered. Thick, slimy, and rubbery chunks of eggplant coated in a dense and zestless sauce and encrusted under a heavy layer of cheese.
The burrata: the only star performer, and the only dish I enjoyed. Ironic - it's simply a giant ball of cheese on a plate (would easily serve 4 as a starter - fyi).
I had two bites of the mains, the rest was removed, but not on our request.
Service was intermittently attentive. Half full glasses topped up during intense conversation. Empty glasses ignored as we looked around and then served ourselves on three occasions.
My partner had mentioned in the booking that it was my birthday and asked for a cake. No cake. No offer from management for any form of reparation. They even changed the table cloth while we were still at the table - an awkward, unnecessary move that left us juggling glasses and wondering if they were trying to usher us out.
The concept of housing sushi and Italian in the same menu - and in a fine dining restaurant - is bizarre. Perhaps had we ordered the sushi, we would have been impressed. And while the manager assured us that "this is how it is in London and Ibiza" that simply confirms that bad ideas have no boundaries. Fusion is one thing, but this dual speed menu communicates a lack of authenticity from both sides.
And the price tag for this experience? We paired the meal with their least expensive bottle of prosecco and rung up 900 AED and change. Let's be clear - I have no issue paying for good food, service, and a special experience. But this was lackluster in every single category.
Save your money. Go somewhere - anywhere - else. The hype is just that. Perhaps people go here just to spend money and be seen? If that's your vibe - fill your boots. But I for one will never be going back - in any country.
Go elsewhere
Terribke service, ridiculous prices, small portions and a margarita the size of a thimble. Probably the worst restaurant we’ve eaten in. Abu has plenty of wonderful well prices restaurants; this isn’t one of them!

Booked a table for two, 4 days in advance. Requested for a table with a view as I was celebrating a special occasion, I was assured by the restaurant that my reservation request is confirmed. Two hours prior to my reservation, I received a call from the manager informing me that my original reservation requested is noted but cannot be fulfilled. I was told to show up and take what is available on arrival. Surely this defeats the purpose of making a reservation in advance especially if done so 4 days in advance ,pathetic of the restaurant to inform you 2 hours before your reservation.
The manager was not accommodating at all considering I had a prior confirmed reservation, for a so called 5 star Restaurant, this is unacceptable.
Thank You Cipriani for ruining an important evening!
Definitely would not recommend
Not worth it at all.
The location is nice. The furniture looks elegant but is extremely uncomfortable and is not efficient enough in use to live up the elegant look. The food is below average when considering it’s fine dining. The tuna tartare and carpaccio were tough to chew on. The scallops had good texture but it was tasteless. Both the pasta dishes were quite greasy and really incites massive heart burns, really nothing fine about the pasta. The silverware were callous and really is not what you expect in fine dining, for
Dessert we were given a big tablespoons instead of dessert spoons etc. Normally I am not such a pretentious complainer but with the hefty price tag and poor quality of the ingredients I couldn’t help, i really expected better. The service was good, but then I saw an added service charge. So For the high priced menu nothing was good. Or maybe to be fair was not good enough for the “fine dining” that they portray themselves to be. Very disappointed.
Not coming again
The view was nice (with those prices, it better be) and the service was good (thankfully as they add a charge for their service). The place looks classy when you walk in, but the seats are terribly uncomfortable, sagging in when you sit on them leaving the bar to dig in to your leg. I even saw a ripped chair on the balcony.
Now the food was just bad as well. The pasta was super oily. I don’t usually get heartburn, but I did after this. Couldn’t sleep all night. The scallops lacked flavour. The carpaccio was supposed to melt in our mouth, but it was a little chewy. The dessert was good at least, but they gave giant soup spoons to eat it with. Kind of bizarre really. We will not come again.
