Amazing!!
Truly and completely WONDERFUL! I dined here with a few friends and and tried several appetizers, entrees, and drinks. Absolutely everything was delicious with some really interesting and new flavors I’d never think to combine. Surprise favorite was the cauliflower - SERIOUSLY could have eaten my weight in this. Carrot margarita was also a hit! The space was small but cozy and we enjoyed every part of the experience. They also asked for proof of vaccination which made us feel safer dining inside! I would recommend Ciudad to anyone.
Be the first to ReplyFantastic food, great service
This restaurant came recommended by my brother and HOLLY SMOKES - expectations were exceeded. We ordered the lamb riblets, chicken, steak, flatbread and 3 sauces. The smoked yogurt paired perfectly with the chicken and bread, and the chimichurri sauce went great with the steak. We ordered the spicy carrot margarita which paired well with everything! It was different than a drink I might normally pick, but that made it all the more enjoyable for me. Our server was very friendly, helpful and checked in on us frequently to make sure we were enjoying the food. Can't wait to come back!
Be the first to ReplyJust wonderful informal tapas style Mediterranean fare.
I am stingy about five star reviews but this is the third one I’ve done since I arrived in Seattle. Ciudad is a small place in the blossoming culinary neighborhood of Georgetown, one of the oldest neighborhoods in Seattle and one which is a rapidly gentrifying warehouse district. The name sounds Mexican but it has Mediterranean, Lebanese, Spanish and other grilled delights. Most of the dishes are tapas sized. Everything we had was wonderful. Yummy patatas bravas, scrumptious fava bean falafel with a delicious smoked yoghurt sauce, grilled halloumi with grilled peaches and charred onions, a flatbread platter with grilled octopus (perfectly done) and chicken and a selection of six sauces: chimichurri, harissa, smoked yoghurt, aioli, honey and soy sauce, and a sauce of grilled red pepper and preserved lemon. We also enjoyed a carrot margarita that was terrific with or without tequila. We left with an inner smile which means the food was made with some love and some joy—and that gets five stars from me. Service was prompt and friendly. At this time there is a firm policy requiring masks and certification of COVID vaccination. The total bill for four was $134.
Be the first to ReplyGreat food for sharing
We had a decent size party so we ordered a bunch of apps and meats to share. Everything we ordered tasted great and the waitress gave us the perfect recommendations on how much to order to feed everyone. The tables were spaced well apart and they had the doors open so there was plenty of fresh air coming in. Everyone really enjoyed the atmosphere and especially all the delicious food.

Highly recommend the flatbread with 3 dipping sauces and the Octopus. Great drinks as well. The patio is nice.
Be the first to ReplyGood food. Friendly service. Needs more heating.
Went for dinner and it was a good experience overall. The only negative was the dining room was chilly. Like most of these industrial type establishments it comprised bare everything. It's difficult to really enjoy a meal when your hands are cold. The appetizers were imaginative and very tasty; in particular the saffron cauliflower dish. Similarly, the entrees showed a culinary flair and were well presented and tasty. The hanger steak was perfectly cooked. Sadly the merguez sausage needed more fat. It was dry. All in all, we would return. It's priced fairly and the food is lively.

Decided to try out Cuidad for lunch and "WOW!" was completely blown away. Delicious food and terrific ambiance. It gets very crowded and there are not a ton of tables so try to go early.
Be the first to ReplyFriendly Vibe & Amazing Meal
The smells from the large charcoal grill in the anteroom to Ciudad’s dining room in Georgetown provided a welcome respite from the rain. We were seated at the bar where Chira brought us menus, explained a variety of pairings from the grill with flatbread, sauces and vegetables for a shared dining experience. We combined small portions of tahini marinated chicken and the citrus brined pork collar with chimichurri, smoked yogurt and romesco sauces on flatbread with the saffron cauliflower & sweet onions and grilled gem lettuce for an amazing dinner filled with tasteful delights. We loved the friendly atmosphere, banter filled with suggestions from the waiters, the unusual flavors and the amazing torrija for desert. It’s a caramelized brioche with an almond filling and pumpkin jam that provides a great finish to a wonderful meal. We loved the grilled meats and flavorful vegetables and friendly vibe at Ciudad. We’ll return to try more dishes.

Having been to the Ciudad once, with old hiking friends, today I took my wife there for lunch. She loved it, as did I. We loved it all, particularly the roasted sunchoke, the saffron cauliflower and the salted cod fritters. The pork flatbread was outstanding, as had been the hanger steak when I ate there last month. Though I thought the crispy brussel sprouts were a bit too spicy, neither my wife nor my hiking companions thought so. (In fact, one of my hiking companions said that dish is a "must eat".) The service was excellent, though finding a parking space was a bit challenging.

The smell is heavenly! We ordered three veggie dishes and that was plenty for two. Don’t miss the cauliflower is was amazing. Mushroom dish seemed a bit undercooked? Potatoes were yum!
