Good vibe, beautiful space, not a neighborhood crowd, maybe dining tourists chasing Michelin stars. Capable though not perfect service ("have we dined here before?", where a simple "you" would do; cocktail brought out after wine served). The martini -- konbu infused -- was excellent. Helpful, engaging sommelier who pointed us to an interesting Greek white. Food was very good but flavors not memorable. (Can we skip tasteless black truffles, please?) Tuna crudo on brioche my fav, sturgeon also very nice in a meaty way. Why the menu after rather than before the meal? All good but at ridiculously expensive price. Dinner for two with one of their more inexpensive wines (basically nothing under $100/bottle) came to $700. Not a good value. Good thing we had a $400 gift certificate or I would be kinda pissed.
