Interesting Place
I stopped here with a friend for lunch. First thing is that apparently their menu is only available through a QR code. Luckily my friend was able to pull up the menu. The waitress sort of explained how everything is done. You pretty much order everything a la carte. I had the Blue Monday Slider and the Beer Cheese Slider. I would say they were both tasty. I also got the fries which were very salty but in a good way. I guess my entire takeaway is that it is good food but not really a filling meal.

Went here with a friend after a concert at the arena and had excellent milkshakes. I had THE UNICORN (Rainbow Strawberry Shake. Rainbow Sprinkles. Sugar Cone. Rainbow Whipped Cream. SPIKE WITH: Pinnacle Cake Vodka or Skyy Strawberry $4) and she had the PEANUT BUTTER CUP (Peanut Butter Shake. Chocolate Frosting. Reese’s Pieces. Whipped Cream. Chocolate Sauce. SPIKE WITH: Godiva. Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey or Razzmatazz $4). Both were delicious and I would definitely go again.

We decided to stop by after eating dinner to grab one of their notorious milkshakes. There were multiple open tables and we were sat very quickly. I'm not a stranger to QR codes and menus so that really didn't bother me. What did bother me, however, is that the server (who was polite and friendly at least) did not let us know that they were out of some ingredients for our shakes. These shakes cost around 10 dollars a piece, so they usually come with a "topping" - the apple pie shake comes with a piece of apple pie, cookies and cream with an ice cream sandwich, that sort of thing. The new Barbie shake was to come with a strawberry crunch ice cream bar. They brought us the bill and had us pay before the shakes came out, which might be normal, I don't frequent here enough to know. They charged us full price for all shakes, even the Barbie ones missing their "toppers". I asked a different server as ours disappeared- she said they were out and she apologized, but I let her know we weren't notified and we were charged full price. I asked if they could do anything and they didn't offer anything to make up for the missing additions. An almost 10 dollar shake missing an entire component, charged full price without notice, and no effort to be made for hospitality (especially because we paid and gave a good tip) - I wouldn't recommend it. 0/10 for the failure and complete apathy for the ripoff. Paying an exorbitant price for a novelty, you should at least get the novelty. Would have taken my tip back, except they were quick about taking the bill before we even got our shakes.
Be the first to ReplyI believe they’ve listened to prior reviews and adjusted
Reading through the reviews I think they’ve listened and adjusted. We went with a family of four including a young child for dinner. There was another family there with a baby. The music was on but not too loud. We could easily hear each other. It was background music like it should be. There were plenty of servers and they were friendly. The food took a reasonable amount of time to come as did the check. Maybe picking up the credit card at the very end took a little too long but hardly an issue. The food itself was good if on the greasy side but thems are the menu choices. It is essentially a tapas place for sliders and some north American style odds and ends and a dessert place with amazing milkshakes. And a craft bar.

Absolutely delicious food. Small but mighty menu with a variety of sliders so you can sample several. We had the craft burger (whatever the secret sauce is - YUM), the fish slider (perfectly battered with cool tangy Napa slaw), and the chicken sliders (beer battered and tender - the hot version is quite spicy!). Shakes are decadent. We also had a Cobb salad (fresh, crisp, excellent ranch), totchos, and fried bread and butter pickles. There is a convenient parking garage right next door.
Be the first to ReplyGood food but you’re damaging our hearing!
Our server was fantastic! The food is very good. We like the fish fry sliders, pulled pork sliders (good & smoky) and the shrimp sliders the best. The sweet potato tots are really good too. The milkshakes are huge & amazing! I have two complaints: The music is too loud inside. Their ice is dirty. This is the second time we’ve dined there and I’ve gotten dirty ice. Their ice machine needs to be cleaned!!! It’s growing dangerous stuff that will make their patrons sick.

Love this place not only for the food but the milkshakes are to die for! And you can add alcohol to the milkshakes for extra pizzazz! Love the tochos - tate tot nachos!!!

II was visiting Binghamton University, and someone on campus said that this restaurant was the best in Downton Binghamton. So my family (it was four of us) drove downtown to have lunch at this restaurant. We found parking and walked into the restaurant, and there were quite a few people seated at tables, the entire bar was free of patrons, and there were two tables that weren't occupied. The hostess walked up to us, and I said it was only four people in our party. (I had my ten-year-old, so I didn't expect to sit at the bar) So she walks away and comes back and says, "I am sorry but I am holding these tables for a table of 20". So I said to her, Do we need to go somewhere else to eat." And the hostess response was a snarky "Okay." I have worked for 25 years in the hospitality industry, and her response should not have been snarky, "Okay." I can come up with at least five other things she should have done to accommodate my family. When you are a professional, you behave professionally, and this hostess indeed lacked the class to work as a hostess. We were able to get excellent food fare next door at Strange Brew, delicious Lychee Bubble Tea, and Mushroom Macaroni and Cheese. Plus, the staff were very hospitable and welcoming.
Be the first to ReplyDon't go unless you are young
On a nice late summer day, I sat down at a sidewalk table intending to have lunch. There was no host stand evident and no sign saying to check inside. After 15 minutes a staffer come up to me--I am 74--and archly asked if would like to have a server come. It was clear from her demeanor that she thought I was someone from the Salvation Army down the street or some other unworthy old person. If you do not fit their young, hip demographic, don't bother going here. The don't want your business.
