Dabbawalla Singapore Reviews from The Last Year
Great Atmosphere, Delicious Foods.
You can't go wrong in Indian Food. Dabbawalla is one of the best in town. I have suggested this restaurant to my husband as he is vegetarian in weekdays. My Malabar Fish Curry was delicious and not too spicy just nice. Excellent and Friendly service with Thines, Simi and Ronnie. We were looked after well , will definitely come again. Highly recommended!
Nice restaurant in Robertson Quay with a uniquely Bombay theme...
This restaurant has a unique theme -- that of Bombay's "Dabbawalas", the ubiquitous lunch box transporters, who serve as the bloodline for feeding the city's working population. I enjoyed the theme, the music and the service. I was reminded of the days when I lived in the city...
Great Afternoon lunch in Singapore
We had an excellent Saturday afternoon lunch at Dabbawalla. The Indian food was very good and the service was excellent. The service was provided by Ronnie, Rabat, Pawan and Thines. They were all excellent. i would highly recommend going there for lunch as the food and the ambiance are great.
Excellent.
We walked along Robertson Quay for a while and spotted Dabawalla - and it looks good for tonight so a bit later we returned for dinner. Free poppadums, 2 Erdinger beers, chicken korma, prawn masala and rice were all served quickly and were very tasty. Total of Singapore $118.80 as alcohol is expensive and of course, the 'plus plus' taxes that are added to the basic price (10% service charge and 8% GST). Highly recommend.
Pretty good Indian, nice location along the river.
Not many people around considering it was a public holiday. But Indian was our choice for the day, too choices in Singapore for all types of cuisine. A bit of a quirky layout but very comfortable. We opted for all the Indian favourites, 3-4 curries (all good) a variety of naan and of course some beers to wash it down with. Tiger on tap. Of course we ordered too much. Pretty good, price was OK. I'm sure there are cheaper (and better) places in Singapore. Robertson Quay is a bit of trap. But we were happy with our experience
Lovely meal
Second time visiting this place and it was again very nice, though not cheap. Quality of food is very good, the manager was very helpful in finding us a table without a reservation quickly, and looked after us all evening. Buzzy place clearly frequented by locals too. Easy walk along the river to Clarke Quay MRT.
Best butter chicken in Singapore
Firstly, just such lovely, welcoming, friendly, and attentive service. Faultless service with smiles all round. The starters were brilliant, and the curries for mains were dilislcuous, with the standout being the better chicken. Also, the best garlic nann we've had in Singapore. Living 5 minutes from Little India, I was pleasantly surprised to now rate this our favourite Indian restaurant in SG. If you live here or are visiting, you should give them a try.
ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH YOUR TIME AND MONEY
Absolute rip off.Average food with terrible service & couldn't care less attitude staff. Save ur time & money - A BIG NO. Menu is extremely over priced for the kind of service and overall experience. The staff is rude and least bothered. One of the worst experience we had in Singapore.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.

My reservation expired but I did not get a credit and I see no way to cancel. How do I the funds back as a credit?

I have a similar question, it seems like when money is refunded it doesnt go immediately what is the process of this since its essentially a debit card and not a credit card
