I'd heard some mixed reports about this place, so went to it with an open attitude. There was a big crowd of us going for lunch, about 15 in total, and we had booked ahead. We were seated at three separate tables, one behind the other with a 'wall' (tall back of a banquette) in between, so conversing with one half of the group over dinner was impossible. If a restaurant takes a booking for a large party, they should either be equipped to seat them together or inform them when they book that it will not be the case. That put us all in bad form to be honest. There was a very limited choice on the menu in my opinion, although I've been told it has improved recently. I had the pasta. Portion was really not great for the price we were paying, and it wasn't amazing. Also, none of the food was brought out at the same time, so some of us were only getting our main courses while others were finishing their dessert - it really didn't make for a good dining experience. Plus it was really bloody cold the whole time we were in there - and it must have been bad, since I don't feel the cold that easily. I would have also appreciated the staff having a word with the woman who let her toddler treat the place like a crèche or a branch of McDonalds, who ran around and screamed blue murder for most of our meal. Won't be going back.
