Good, freshly cooked food, clean kitchen.
This place is always busy. I am not surprised.
Be the first to ReplyI ordered takeout: chicken vindaloo combo and garlic naan.
With a tip... $25 and some change. It tasted nothing like a normal vindaloo dish. Even worse was the 3 tablespoon amount of chicken, 1.5 cups of potato cubes and probably the same in rice. Pretty disappointed. Not worth the price for such a small amount of chicken. this is mostly a potato and rice vindaloo, TBH. I separated the chicken from the potatoes, so you can see for yourself.
Be the first to ReplyService was good, food was ok.
I got the 2 item combo. The servings were really skimpy. Wasn't worth $12 to say the least. And I believe one of the entrees was spoiled because it didn't sit right with my stomach.. I won't be back.
Be the first to ReplyThe food is okay, I'd rate it a 6 out of 10.
Not a whole lot of options and the portion size is small (I went during dinner time). I tend to get full fast but the two item combo wasn't filling either.

great food. i love the samosas and veggie manchurian. thank you Delhi Kitchen for fulfilling my late night hankerings.

This is a source for home cooked food for North Indian cuisine. Have found to be quality consistent through for at least last 20+ years. Quality food at very reasonable prices. Wishing all the success for future.
Be the first to ReplyThe food is reasonable.
The quantities are great for the price. They made the tandoori chicken and naan fresh and it was delicious. The chole bature was amazing too. The staff is always friendly here and even offer some samples to taste. There is some indoor and outdoor seating, ambiance is casual.

The safe is very kind and respectful. GREAT family stop off for a quick bite or takeout. There's comfortable seating for small groups inside and outside.
Be the first to ReplyHave tried here a few times.
They are consistent, and food is good for the price paid. Their combo options are good, and they come in good quantity. Many vegetarian options and decent food. It's more like a takeout place. Service is quiet good.
Be the first to ReplyNew cook different taste.
It's NOT as good as before. Price increased recently. It's OK to increase price if the quality and taste of food didn't change.
Be the first to ReplyBad service.
. food quality is bad! Food smells weird and tastes bad. Quality and cleanliness not UpTo mark either.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent take out.
I really enjoyed the Biryani with Cilantro. Portions are large and prices are good too.
Be the first to ReplyMost pathetic indian food.
It will just fill your stomach but no taste. I had tried chicken tikka masala.
Be the first to ReplyI love Indian food I've been to India.
several times and I was excited and then very very disappointed. I ordered their chicken tikka masala I don't know what they gave me but it was NOT tikka masala it tasted like watered down chicken bouillon gravy beyond bland needed salt needed flavor. This was not Indian food. I hope they can find a better recipe because this was horrible. Service was amazing people were nice friendly. but u need a better recipe.

This is the second time I came here, once for lunch and dinner. It's been on my radar since it's close to my neighborhood and once my neighbor told me this is his favorite place close to authentic Indian food, I was sold.Ample parking in the lots and this is a hole in the wall. Simple decor, tables are tightly packed inside, the food is good packed with spices and flavor. Get a side of plain yogurt to help receive the spiciness.Lunch is overrated because they give you mostly rice for $9.00 and small portions of the side dishes. The dish specials are already premade. Premade Food is good thou better when they make their special dishes. The special dishes have outstanding flavor. Ordering take out is hit or miss. Most of the times the food is spectacular and another time I have been disappointed. I'm still ordering food here, just not from the premade stuff they have simmering on the burners. It's important for a restaurant to have consistency in their food and I haven't found that here yet.Lunch is busy so be patient waiting to order and staff is friendly and focused.Enjoy!
Be the first to ReplyWeak, flavorless, watery chicken tikka.
Over price cheese naan. I won't return to this restaurant.
Be the first to ReplyThis is yet another hidden gem in the midst of Carmel
This is yet another hidden gem in the midst of Carmel mountain shopping outlets. The restaurant serves authentic North Indian cuisine . Was there yesterday night with wife and we had their lamb curry dish alongside tandoori Naan bread. The person who took our order was really very polite and checked if we wanted to customize the spice levels etc. The dish quantity was quite generous and lamb pieces were soft. The curry was equally flavourful. We also got to know that they do catering service as well for takeout dishes. Prices are quite reasonable as well. The restaurant has limited seating and one needs to check ahead if you plan to eat in the restaurant which is something I would recommend. The reason is that the food is served piping hot.All in all a recommended restaurant if you are craving for Indian comfort food.
Be the first to ReplyBest Indian food in all of San Diego.
Literally like a second home. Would go there every day if I could. The chicken tikka masala is outstanding, the nan bread is always made fresh, and they offer vegan options. A must go for anybody who wants to expand their flavor palette.
Be the first to ReplyI've been going here since I was a kid.
It's one of my favorites. Every one I bring here enjoys it. I'm pregnant and it's all I want to eat. 10/10 I can't believe I've never left a 5 star review.
