Had a great post red eye brunch at Duck and Waffle.
The food was delicious and the view of the city spectacular. Our server, Laura, was a delight. She gave us all the menu highlights and was so attentive to my partner's nut allergy. It was a lovely experience and a great way to kick off our London trip.

Wasn't too sure about duck and waffles as a concept but I am a convert. 40th floor affords great views. We hit a good and foggy Sunday morning (I was upset with my husband for making me have breakfast at 8 am on a Sunday) but it was still nice view. We both ordered the special duck with waddle fried duck egg and maple mustard syrup. Syrup had only a mild mustard seed taste. The duck confit was incredible. Juicey moist and crispy. Waffle was crispy and delicious. Had a cheese scone and Victoria sausage neither of which I would have again as they weren't special. All In all very delightful and delicious. I would recommend and would definitely go again when I am in town. Also had a very nice server. Make reservation in advance a mandate. Requires 60 pound deposit so people won't no show. .

Amazing food and service - this our favorite place to go when we are in London. I highly recommend anyone visiting to enjoy a lunch or dinner here. Friendly staff, nice ambience, and great food.

It was our first dinner in London. My daughter said the mac n cheese was amazing. I enjoyed the croqueta and rosemary bread.
Be the first to ReplyGreat view from 40th floor.
We had duck wanna be and waffle, egg spinach florentine, it was good. Decently prices also.

A surprisingly good restaurant, with astonishing view of London. Their signature dish Duck and Waffle is indeed a must try, the yolk of the duck egg tastes good with velvety texture, duck skin is very crispy and serves well with syrup. Roasted lamb was juicy and tender, perfectly cooked. Finally a good British cuisine. Services is great

We were looking for a decent place for brunch & came across this place. We had no rsvp but were lucky enough to be seated upstairs right by the window .. what a great view! Drinks, I had a Paloma it was very good nice taste, decent amount of alcohol Hubby had a Ristrello Negroni this was good as well our drinks for the duration. Food we decided to try a few items to start we got the Corn ribs , so good great tasting sauce. Next the Cheesy Polenta Croquettes were delicious, great taste. Also had the Duck sliders, they were very good as well nice taste to the meat. & finally the Duck & waffle, nice twist this dish it was a very good combo good meat, waffle & topped with the egg was just the right amount of flavor, it would have been nice if they gave u a full waffle. Somehow we had room for dessert & got the Lemon & Vanilla baked cheesecake, lordd all mighty that was delicious! Nice bar area upstairs, good music playing , funky decor & really nice views. Service was good, price wise on the high side but doable everything we had was very good, we had a nice brunch & enjoyed our time here.

I recently dined at Duck & Waffle, and the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. The restaurant's elevated location provides breathtaking views, especially during sunset. The combination of delectable cuisine and the stunning scenery creates a truly memorable dining atmosphere. The ambience is elegant, making it a perfect spot for those seeking a delightful culinary journey with a picturesque backdrop. Duck & Waffle is undoubtedly a top choice for a special dining experience.

Be the first to ReplyLoved it.
My brother recommended this place and it did not disappoint. The views were great and service was excellent. The food was mostly good too. The only thing I didn't really like was ox cheek doughnut. Was super sad the soufflé with good reviews wasn't available. Only reason took 1 star off was because when we got there still had to wait about 30ish minutes for the table even with a reservation. They gave a cute birthday cake since we were going for my birthday!
Be the first to ReplyFood was absolutely incredible.
Very creative menu. The view from the skyscraper is phenomenal. Good service, and I was surprised that it did not cost more!
Be the first to ReplyCame here for an early morning breakfast.
The view is impressive, yes. The food and service, not so much. Ordered the eggs Florentine and the whites were snotty. My wife ordered the duck cocotte, which was swimming in grease. Gross on both counts. Our waitress never came to check up on us and told me that "that's the way poached eggs are" when I pointed it out to her before we got the bill. The manager did take the cocotte off, but the general attitude is that they are doing you a favor by deigning to let you eat here.

Incredible view. Fun atmosphere. Attentive servers and talented kitchen staff. Check out the Sunday Roast! Best meal I've ever had. Will definitely be going back.
Be the first to ReplyDecent London restaurant to get a view that isn't too
Decent London restaurant to get a view that isn't too expensive given the comfort-food menu and portions not too big. It's at the top of the Salesforce building and a couple blocks from Liverpool station and the Eataly.Servers were extremely busy in the initial dinner rush so you should be ready to order. Not the best place for a family with younger kids, but a very good place for a date or small group of friends. Fried pig ear was too hard, best to stick with the familiar dishes, which they do a solid job of executing.
Be the first to ReplyFood and drinks: 3/5 A relative small menu.
Got the Duck and Waffle - it's good but I wasn't impressed. Duck was crispy on the outside and pretty tender inside. But the portion was quite small. Definitely not full after this dish. Nice selection of drinks. Got the "tropic of conversation" (passion fruit liqueur, pineapple, triple sec, champagne) - very citrusy and refreshing but the drink felt almost watered down. Service: 4/5 Zero complaints but also nothing stood out. Courteous staff. We were seated in a corner high top table so it took us a while (about 10 minutes) to get our waiter's attention to place the order. Of note, there is complementary coat check downstairs when you first enter. Ambiance: 4/5Bustling space! You take the elevator to the 39th floor and then take the spiral staircase up. The first area you will see is the bar and lounge area. Past that is the actual restaurant with an open kitchen. View is incredible! But for me, the music was too loud and it had more a bar/club vibe than an elegant dining space vibe. Cost: 3/5 Maybe I'm not yet used to London prices but two entrees plus one drink cost us about £80. Would be happy to pay this premium price for the amazing view had I been full. But I was not even close to feeling full after spending this much!

The duck & waffles were amazing! The portions are pretty small, so I would personally recommend getting 1-2/person for the table in family style. The view was amazing with the skyline & amazing interior! Definitely a good date spot or brunch spot for mimosas. The service was a bit slow, not sure if that's the American in me, but overall I would definitely recommend to friends & family who are visiting the area.
Be the first to ReplyEnjoyed a birthday lunch here.
Spectacular views, food was exquisite and the staff are attentive. We were even offered a complimentary glass of prosecco to enjoy in the bar after our lunch was over. Thank you! Highly recommended and will bring coming back again soon.

Nothing extraordinary but the food is good, view is nice, and they have a nice bar.

Be the first to ReplyOne of the things I could improve upon in my tactics for
One of the things I could improve upon in my tactics for identifying places to eat in new cities is my process for finding breakfast places. More often than not, restaurants that serve breakfast just don't end up on top restaurant lists. Constantly tweaking my strategy, but I did manage to find this place, Duck & Waffle. This place is like the Waffle House of London. It's open 24/7. That's fact that I find incredible. There needs to be more places like that. So we came around at like 8AM, rode the dedicated elevator up to the 40th floor, and walked through the labyrinthian dining rooms to our table, with an incredible view of the city. My picture won't do it any justice. I recommend you go look at others' photos of the view. It really is something special. So this place had the style. Did it have the substance? Spoilers, yes. I had to order the flagship item, the Duck & Waffle (crispy leg confit, fried duck egg, mustard maple syrup). Believe it or not, I've had duck & waffles before, so I was interested to be able to compare. The outside of this duck leg was So crispy. It was borderline duck brittle. But a bit bite of that with the extremely moist and flavorful meat inside, oh my, it was heaven. The waffle was nothing special, but the duck egg with the runny yolk made this a whole dish. A little of this, a little of that, some syrup here, some syrup there. Very delicious, very satisfying. I was a fan.I also got to try the Lemon Meringue Waffle (lemon curd, Italian meringue, lemon sorbet, dill). I love temperature-play. That blank slate waffle was covered in a beautiful meringue. And then they plopped a dollop of ice cold sorbet right in the middle of everything. The hot waffle, the cold sorbet, the curd making everything pop with lemon. Really fun. Not my cup of tea, I'll take that duck, but it was good. Overall, this place was beautiful, fun, and delicious. The trifecta. If you come to London for any reason, you must come here.

I thought Duck & Waffle was just fabulous! I went there once with family during the daytime and another as a romantic date night. I love that going at different times gives you a completely different experience. The classic duck & waffle was delicious as well as the mousse-y foie gras after smearing it on their bread.I wish I remembered the drink names but all of the cocktails were pretty and tasted refreshing. The blue sparkly one was my favorite!
Be the first to ReplyLOOOL looking back this was the funniest dinner experience
LOOOL looking back this was the funniest dinner experience for my europe trip-so u obvs come for the view, but if u get sat in the middle, like us, u get like no view pretty much which is funny.. seems like most of the window seats are only for parties of two, so like dates, so for our group of 3 big L no chance-menus kinda wack/weird which is fine im all for weird food but it ended up tasting so bad like no one even wanted to finish it LOL, which is rare. the ox doughnuts or someth were straight up raw, had to send it back, even though they even had to "check w the chef" first and still tried to tell me "thats how the dish is supposed to be". super weird sweet sauce that just did not go w it.the foie gras creme bruelee was alright but just too rich w no balancing/relief fries were good only cuz everyth else sucked LOL anyways fun experience cuz novel but overall actually sucks and expensive if u dont even get the view lol..which also u put down a deposit for reservation but dont even find out where ur gna be sat till ur there when its too late to back out

This was our first restaurant in London, we had friends who came here and highly recommended this place. It is a bit hard to find, you have to walk into the lobby and take the elevator up. In our elevator ride, there was a girl who said she loves coming here but not for the food.... just for the view. And she came in, sat and ordered tea while she enjoyed the view. We were seated right next to the window and the view was AMAZING. Lots of other people would get up and take pictures against the window right behind me as I ate. They were smart for leaving spaces in between the tables along the window so people can still enjoy the view. Service: 4/5Our server was very kind. When we asked for recommendations he did not hesitate to recommend the bacon wrapped figs. We took his recommendation. Here's what we ordered:-Bacon wrapper figs: 5/5This was my favorite thing we ordered here, thank you to our server for the great recommendation. It was savory and delicious with a creamy inside filling. -Spicy ox cheek donut: 3/5I had high hopes but was disappointed. The spicy ox cheek was good, but the sauce on the side was sweet which I did not like and accidentally dtly put too much on my half of the donut. -Garlic and rosemary bread: 4/5/5I was bummed there was no bread for the table so we ordered this. It was like a naan bread and was smaller than I thought it was be. -Duck and waffle: 3.5/5This Is what the restaurant was named after so it had to be good! I thought the duck was very dry, but the skin was nice and crispy. I looked forward to bites with the crispy skin in it. The small quail egg was a nice touch as well. Overall, Duck and Waffle had an amazing view, great service but the food was overpriced.
