We ordered the tasting menu.
The food was superb. Special mention of the caviar, the scallops and the Pork chops, and the dessert. The service was amazing. Loved the place. Do this!

Food was amazing. The best dining experience I have ever had. I would recommend to anyone - it felt so authentic and we especially appreciated the presentation and how the chef (?) came out presenting each plate and detailing each dish. We loved the potatas bravas

We did the tasting and it was amazing! The servers were great and explained everything. I'm still dreaming about the pastrami wagu.

This was a quick dinner with a colleague but I enjoyed everything.

Food was inventive on the normal Spanish food I usually find. It was decent but definitely a bit pricey for what you got. Service was very attentive- great staff.

Service, food and atmosphere were reminescent of my time in Spain. Price is not cheap but, good when compared to other tapas places.

We had Tapas when we were in Spain and had such great experiences. So we went for my husband's birthday celebration. He was so happy! We enjoyed everything we had! The setting was so nice and the staff were very nice and interesting. I felt like they were actually interested in us having a wonderful evening! Well done!
Be the first to ReplyTried the chefs tasting menu and it was one of the best
Tried the chefs tasting menu and it was one of the best meals I've had. Staff were amazing and quick. Drink pairings were on point (love the house gin). Very unique fusion experience that rivals any major spot on the strip, especially for the price! Nothing fancy about the interior but the food is sneaky good! We were told the menu gets rotated a lot so we will be coming back for sure!
Be the first to ReplyEdo is a fancy tapas joint tucked away in a strip mall.
Don't let the modest exterior fool you - step inside and it's like entering a classy joint with dimmed lights, fancy artwork, and a big chandelier. The place only seats around 15 tables, so it feels intimate and upscale despite the mall location. The service is top-notch. The servers are total pros - polished yet warm. They glide between tables like butter, serving multiple courses without missing a beat. Each dish gets a full explanation, making you feel like you're getting an education along with your meal. The decor is what really sells the upscale vibe. With the chandelier, wine racks, and arty touches, you'd never guess you were dining in a old strip mall unit. Edo nails that swanky, special occasion ambiance. But the real star is the food. Edo doesn't mess around with fusion gimmicks - just legit, elevated Catalan tapas done right. The tasting menu is a must-try journey of ingenious flavors. The jamon iberico melts like butter, the caviar and eggs pack a briny punch, and the wagyu pastrami with jalapeno oil is a flavor bomb. Even simple stuff like the homemade baguette is executed perfectly. The cocktails are also on point - sip the salty, spicy Junquera gin drink for a real trip. If you're hitting up Edo, just get the tasting menu to experience the full glory. With such limited seating, make those rezzies in advance to avoid a scene during prime times. Bottom line - Edo walks the walk as an underrated gem slinging out upscale, creative, and authentic Catalan tapas magic. The swanky digs, polished service, and off-the-charts food make it an unforgettable dining experience that deserves all the hype it's getting.
Be the first to ReplyHoly moly, guacamole.
Well, they didn't serve guacamole. However, this place was amazing. If you like true tapas Spain style with a little kick of Vegas. This is a great place to try. My wife and I stumbled into this place and we were so happy that we found it. The drinks were amazing and the service was great. We can't wait to come back and try it again!
Be the first to ReplyIt was a good experience in general, but definetely no what
It was a good experience in general, but definetely no what I was expecting. The place is small and cute, plating latino( mainly mexican artists) music. The service was good. Now I went to an spanish restaurant expecting spanish food, flavorfull, trafitional tapas, the food was just ok.the croquetas has strange flavor(almost sweet) for a croqueta, the mixto frito was lacking salt, patatas bravas( not even close) and the baguette with sauces( was my favorite dish) . I enjoyed the overall experience, in big part thanks to my company, I would love to give it another try, and see if It can improve my impression.

It's a small space, we had a 5 pm reservation so there was no noise. Service was good. Unfortunately, they do not regularly update the GF menu on their website. Everything I wanted to try before we arrived had been crossed off on the printed menu at the restaurant. The food I ordered instead was acceptable, but for the price I would not return.
Be the first to ReplyGreat food.
Had the chefs tasting menu. I tried things I normally wouldn't and had things I really did like. This tasting is probably more for the not picky. We upgraded to a caviar beginning. It was interesting but my partner loved it. All in all I would recommend
Be the first to ReplySpanish tapas, excellent gin and tonics, and great service.
Can't get enough of this place!
Be the first to ReplyI tried this restaurant many years ago for a birthday
I tried this restaurant many years ago for a birthday dinner when it first opened, and I returned hoping to find some of the dishes I loved that first time, specifically a bone marrow dish that won me over. When I visited again a few weeks ago, the menu has changed as expected, and seafood dishes seemed to be front and center in the menu. I was excited about the menu, but none of the dishes I tried this time particularly stood out. They were delicious, but the service made me not crave returning. We ordered the charcuterie board, a Moscow mule and another gin cocktail to get started looking at their menu. Now although they offered these cocktails as soon as we sat down, we had to remind them a second time about 30 mins in, and once again ask if we could by chance order more tapas and our main course. They also kept taking our plates with the bread and charcuterie even as I finished my final bites. I am a slow eater, but I would have probably speeded up if I knew more tapas and my entree were on their way. Now--I usually don't mind waiting if I feel that the place is in fact very busy, but I watched the staff wander by and wait on the sidelines throughout the night. After the charcuterie, we ordered the pulpo a la plancha and again these were in fact delicious, but I wanted to keep ordering tapas, and I might have if they had actually checked in on our table. When we finally ordered our main course, the food arrived fairly quickly. I have no complaints about the menu or the chef, as I ordered the pescado a la plancha, and it was delicious as expected. The costilla de vaca was also delicious. My problem really is with the fact that I wanted to order more food, and I was never offered the chance, and had to practically beg the waiter to remember my drink and take my order for my entree after our initial two tapas. The decor is beautiful as it was when it opened many years ago, but the room itself felt very crowded on this second visit. We sat in the center as opposed to the side booths I tried my first visit. The waiters walk by constantly (without checking in) and it's a very tight room. It also echoes very loudly to where it wasn't quite the intimate dinner I expected to have with my boyfriend. I will probably not be returning and will be making reservations at Other Mamma and Sparrow & Wolf instead which have similar dishes, ambiance, but exceed expectations in their service. For how difficult it was to get a reservation here, I found this place difficult to love.

Wow. From the outside, EDO may not look impressive, but our experience, from our first encounter with the staff through the last bite was exceptional. One of our party was skeptical, but open minded about trying tapas for the first time. EDO absolutely convinced him, but likely spoiled him simply because EDO has set the bar for quality and creativity so impossibly high. We interacted with at least 4 different staff, all of whom were exceptional in their service. EDO's craft exceeded all of our expectations and we all added EDO to our "must visit" list for future trips to Las Vegas. I look forward to trying the chef's tasting menu next time. Don't settle for the expensive mediocre food on the Strip. Venture outward and have a culinary experience at EDO!

Service and food was impeccable! Highly recommend and Making a reservation as the restaurant isn't too big. We did not do the set menu but probably should have as the bill for 4 came out to the same amount but we got to choose me a lot of variety to share. A bit expensive but will definitely return. Sooo good!
Be the first to ReplyBeen here twice and absolutely loved it both times! Super
Been here twice and absolutely loved it both times! Super underrated and unassuming restaurant but both times have been blown away by the quality and creativity of the dishes. Has got to be one of my favorite restaurants. To start, you have to get the tasting menu. They have some pretty avante garde flavors and incredible presentation on the tasting menu at incredible value. I honestly couldn't tell you my favorite dish because I loved basically every one of them. I've been to quite a few Michelin restaurants in Northern California (where I'm from) and around the world, and have to say that Edo can compete with many of them and even beats quite a few. The craziest part is, it does this at less than half the price point. At $80/person (up from $65 in late 2021 and understandably so) this 10 course tasting menu is a steal and competing with $200 tasting menus in terms of presentation, quality of ingredients, and the number of courses. The amount of effort the staff puts into preparing each course and ensuring the guests have a great experience definitely goes to show.If you're ever visiting Vegas or even if you're local and just looking for a nice meal, skip the buffets or overpriced restaurants on the strip and come here. You won't regret it.
Be the first to ReplyGreat food.
Professional staff. The chef even came out. This was a great treat. Will be coming again.

Food and service so good I almost forgot pics!Arrived a bit before opening with a reservation, and was warmly welcomed. Short but lovely wine list inspired me to start with a Pinot that was very tasty. I'm gluten free, and they made it very easy for me to navigate my choices. We opened with the charcuterie board, which came with lovely pan con tomato for my dining partner, then wagyu tartare and watermelon salad, which had some fresh potato chips alongside Everything was awesomely fresh and delicious. Still a bit hungry, we added the tokio oysters, which were divine. Two glasses of wine each, and with tip we were under $200.

Edo is fantastic! Best meal we've had in Vegas! Totally unassuming and in a strip center, but the food, presentation and service is stunning. At $80pp, it's likely the best value tasting menu you'll ever have. We let them know about a couple food allergies and they were very accommodating. It's small, so make sure to get a reservation. Can't wait to come back to Edo!
Be the first to ReplyEdo Gastro Tapas has achieved new levels of flavor and
Edo Gastro Tapas has achieved new levels of flavor and creativity with their tapas! This review will be for their chef's tasting menu, which I highly recommend! I love the subtle fusion of Asian inspired flavors throughout the meal.We made a reservation for dinner and were promptly seated and drink orders taken. I will be reviewing the chef's tasting menu in order from start to finish; please see attached photo of the menu for more details. Before our dining experience began, the chef sent over an amuse bouche of gazpacho, compliments of the chef. The refreshing, lightly sour and spicy flavor of this palate opener impressed me and made me greatly look forward to what the rest of the meal would contain. Hamachi tartare: Delightfully creamy with umami flavor! The tartare is very fresh, and with the ponzu sauce on the bottom adding more flavor and dimension to the texture of the tartare, the whole bite bursts with intense flavor. However, it isn't heavy on the palate or stomach. Paella honeycomb: What a unique conceptual play on paella! The honeycomb is so crunchy and crispy (while a little oily). The little calamari and baby shrimp are so tender and teeny.Picanha tartare tartalette: The presentation is so stunning, in the treasure chest! The shell of the tartalette is very thin and crispy; a perfect vehicle for the tartare within. The mint and thai basil flavors come out lightly in the bearnaise. The wagyu itself is so light and flavorful, yet thick and creamy. Visually and flavorfully stunning.Yoshi shrimp: Again, visually stunning like an artwork. Presentation has really been nailed down by Edo. The shrimp and roe are chewy and acidic; the ponzu adds a sourness that is sometimes a bit too much when eaten with the yuzu-avocado, but it's still tasty.Tarte flambee: The caramelized onions are the star here! They are crispy and crunchy, sweet and salty. The Iberico ham adds a salty chewiness, and the cheese on top smooths it out with a creaminess. Overall, an excellent blend to flavor and texture.Complimentary chawanmushi: I was surprised to get another complimentary dish on the house! The chefs here are too kind to us. Chawanmushi is a Japanese steamed egg custard, and homage is clearly paid here to its Japanese roots even in its role in a Spanish fusion restaurant. The shrimp in the middle is succulent and juicy, and the egg custard is cooked very classically.Maitake mushroom: While the mushroom is the star here, the foie gras sauce almost steals the spotlight with the unctuous fatty flavor it imparts. The mushrooms are tender and almost meaty with the juicy flavor they impart.Tempura artichoke: This might be my least favorite of all the courses, but since all the others created such a high standard, that might not be saying much. The artichoke is tender, but still snappy; the flavor is very faint, even with the remoulade. However, I wouldn't call it a tempura; the crispiness you expect with tempura isn't really there.Raviolini: Cute and delightful in flavor and presentation! The raviolini's are so bursting with flavor, even though they're so small. The caviar adds a nice saltiness to the fattiness of each bite. The chives and lemon zest add a freshness and lift up the heaviness of the overall plate.Washugyu hanger steak: The steak is cooked to a perfect medium rare! The gem lettuce is very tender (especially considering that this is lettuce, which tends to wilt under heat). The mushrooms marinade is sweet and savory, and adds a savory umami flavor to the steak.Dessert of the day: The DOTD was a white chocolate mousse with a strawberry granita. Wow! The nuttiness of the mousse was a perfect marriage to the sweet and sourness of the granita. The texture of the mousse was incredibly airy, light, and fluffy. The granita's iciness was very cleansing to the palate after such a filling and delicious meal!We actually got two desserts, since one of them was complimentary by the chefs! The other dessert was a hazelnut mousse with crackers and olive oil, and a bit of sea salt sprinkled onto the mousse. I love the play of savory in desserts; the salt really brings out the sweetness, and the crispy bread crackers were a textural vehicle for the creaminess of the mousse.Overall, I'm incredibly impressed by the hospitality, excellency, and quality of everything I tried here at Edo. I can't wait to come back!
Be the first to ReplyWe had a 830pm reservation and I believe 9pm is last
We had a 830pm reservation and I believe 9pm is last seating so I called the restaurant to make sure that we could still do tasting menu even though the restaurant shows they close at 9. They reassured me that it's just last seating and that we would have the same enjoyable experience without feeling rushed even if our reservations was towards the later part of day. When we arrived, the place was pretty packed. We asked for recommendations on the cocktail menu and he said they specialized in the gin and tonics and so I opted for the $18 one... forget what it's called. It was good and was satisfying. We opted for the tasting menu with all the upgrades (caviar, scallops). Overall they are small servings but had very robust flavors to satisfy the palette. We just felt a little rushed as the plates were being served.. not sure if that is etiquette but sometimes we had the next plate served at the same time while still indulging with the previous. So not sure if service would be different at an earlier time. I also indicated on my reservation that it was our wedding anniversary and that was not acknowledged. I love to try new experiences, would maybe come back to try other items on the menu. 3 stars for service, 4 stars for food.
Be the first to ReplyOverpriced with nothing really special in terms of ambience
Overpriced with nothing really special in terms of ambience or food (taste and presentation) It is a small restaurant in a strip mall off the strip. We were shocked to see the amount of food served for each thing we ordered especially the cold appetizers. Super disappointed after many good reviews.
