Updated Nov’22 Due to the hecticness most likely, the oysters were not as fresh as previously when we dined there as part of our work celebration lunch on a Friday this year . Services and food spread were still good, but it’s important to keep the freshness of seafood. Updated Sept’22 Returned for a dinner experience during the Frozen musical play season. Still a wonderful spread with cold and hot dishes to suit most palate. The Singapore Chilli Crab was a tad salty but I like to commend that both the oyster and sashimi were fresh & delicious. They did run out of Chocolate icecream on the night, a sacrilege!! Service was good as the plates were cleared quite promptly, and our request for a Quieter table was granted too. At $98 Plus public holiday surcharge, it is worth the occasional indulgence. Dec’21 End of Year celebration lunch is always a hit at Epicurean. The classy ambience when you walked in, and the smell of the aromatic cuisine is sure to whet your appetite and kick start your rumbling tummy. There is a 2 hr sitting from 12-2pm. There is still a good selection of hot and cold food but it is noticeable that the range has somewhat reduced compared to previous years. Eg only chirozo, turkey and beef at the Carvery station, with no roast lamb, duck or pork from previous years. Also only one kind of oyster (South Australia) instead of 2 kinds. There is a plethora of decadent desserts as usual, and the waitstaff were all quite attentive to top up water glasses and clearing of plates. Our preferred buffet restaurant over Atrium buffet any day
