The food was great. The service was horrendous!
The food was great. The service was horrendous! Waited 45 minutes for an after-dinner cocktail, which they screwed up!

We had a great time at Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar! The service impeccable, very attentive and helpful and our steaks were simply divine. Our waitress from Greece, had great recommendations for wine and sides. Perfect spot for a romantic date night! We can’t wait to return!

Had a business dinner here on Wednesday 11/27 for six of us. Hostess was pleasant, we were seated right away and overall the service was attentive and pleasant by all. We had two fish dishes, a lobster and three steak entrees. The steaks were horrible. Way over cooked and actually cool to cold. The “ don’t touch the plate it’s very hot” show by the server was just that, a show. We all immediately could tell something was off , especially since it took 20 minutes or so from clearing salad plates to getting entree. The plates were cold just like the food. Since we were with clients neither us nor them felt like saying anything since we were having a pleasant evening up to that point. I expect much more from a place like this. I have eaten at Fleming’s around the country before but will not be going back to this one.

I booked our Anniversary dinner here the waitress was good. But our dinner 😳 my meal was cooked good but my Husband ordered the New York strip Medium and it came out rare and with at least 5oz of fat. He couldn’t finish it, I felt bad because spending $200 on dinner he could have had his steak the way he wanted it. But it wasn’t correct.

Great place to celebrate life, in our case our 40th wedding anniversary! Service was impeccable and food to please. Jeremy provided us the best service we could have asked for. All staff members who visited our table made the evening one to remember. Go and have a good time, you won’t regret it!
Be the first to ReplyOutstanding from start to finish
This was my first visit to this Fleming’s (but not to the chain), and it was excellent from start to finish. Apple Maps shoved me into the North Garage entrance on the wrong side, so I was all twisted around (the CORRECT entrance is across from VIVANT on 400W). Getting in the pedestrian entrance from the street is a little confusing right now due to construction. The garage signs pointing to the Fleming’s elevator are a bit circular, but just go to level -1 and find the elevator clearly labeled as Fleming’s. The French Onion Soup was hot and had a good depth of flavor. The standard ribeye was tender and flavorful. I tend to cook ribeyes medium rather than med-rare to get the extra sweetness from the marbling, and Fleming’s hit the medium exactly without hammering the steak into med-well. The baked potato could have used more oven time but was large and serviceable (though premium-priced). The sourdough bread, spreads, and mango iced tea were all on point. Service was impeccable for a 630pm Saturday night reservation made via Open Table. An odd quirk of the reservation system showed no availability for 2 diners all evening but open table showed available seating all evening for 1. While busy the entire time I dined, it was never full and the two-top next to me (as well as the second seat at my table) were open the entire time. I was immediately seated when I arrived at 630, given water, offered a drink and given a menu. My order was timely taken and the meal proceeded at a normal pace, never rushed nor with inordinate lags between courses. While I was a solo diner, I had reading material to simulate how dinner would proceed as a couple and it was naturally paced. I declined dessert and my entire dining experience was slightly less than 90 minutes (I would have expected 120 minutes with dessert) and, with a 25% tip, was $111.
Be the first to ReplyGreat happy hour!!
Hubby and I went here for happy hour. The food was and is fabulous! Jacob tended to us and was very nice and attentive on the bar area! He represents Fleming's very well! Would definitely come back again!
Be the first to ReplyFlemings - you never know from night to night
Four meat eating men out for a night out. Two steaks were great, two steaks as tough as leather. Sides and desserts were great. Waiter appearance and attitude was not Flemings standard - - pull your pants up and tuck your shirt in.
Be the first to ReplyFlemings has a bad night.
This was a bad night for Flemings at our table. We ordered and about 30 minutes later the waitress shows up and says sorry your food should be out shortly about 30 minutes more and a manager shows up and says I am so sorry we lost your ticket we will get it right out. Manager was very good to us and even took our hors d'oeuvre off the bill. When the salmon that I asked to be cooked to 120 degrees was well overcooked. To that they offered the salmon for free. Josh went above and beyond to make it right. In the end they really did everything they could except communicate in a timely manner. Very little interaction with us. The food was very good although not as good as it should be like there close competition.

I asked around and checked here for best steakhouse in SLC. It came out as top choice so I made a reservation. I came and tried one of the special cuts the dry aged. It was barely edible. It was tender but had no flavor at all and the fat was a bit smelly. I had a third of it and stopped. The barman offered to take it out of the bill (this is why it gets two starts instead of 1) but if you want to be a prime restaurant you don't serve trash, hoping the customer will not complain. The wine was good (although they don't have any US Syrah). I would not recommend this place if you don't want to end up with a rotten piece of meat.
