3/12/23What happened to this place? It used to be a lot better than it was last night. First, it was overcrowded. Our table was next to 2 large parties, and our chairs were constantly bumped by both customers and staff. Tables were extremely close together. TIP: Be careful not to get scammed into paying $14 per person for what they called a "taste" of a pineapple drink or $25 for a taste of jumbo shrimp cocktail that they tried to push on you as soon as you sit down, barely giving you an opportunity to settle in. Want flat or sparkling water? That'll cost you $8.25 or $8.50 per person. Better yet, just stick to alcohol which is $9 a cocktail. They'll push you to upgrade to Waygu, too, which cost an additional $150 for our table of 4. And if you did not want the Churrasco experience (like me), they don't even offer you the menu. Luckily, I looked at the menu prior to dinner, knowing I didn't want the Churrasco experience. I just can't do AYCE meat anymore. I was reluctantly offered the pan seared salmon ($39), which included the salad bar. The yelper that said they've become a high-end Golden Corral was spot on. The meat rotation was disappointing. We had to request them to bring out certain meats at least twice. The chicken wrapped bacon, chicken wings, and sausage were on a much higher rotation than the pricier cuts. The salad bar was also not getting restocked as quickly as it should have given the shear number of people in the restaurant. We paid almost $500 for our family of 4, but in a city with so many fine dining options, I can confidently say that we won't be dining here again.
