This Chinese restaurant can be found on a small stretch of restaurants a few minutes walk from Richmond station. The interior is quite big with various tables suitable for all party sizes.Food-wise, the menu is quite big with lots on offer. The vibe is most Chinese but there's a few Japanese and Thai accents too. The dim sum is made in-house and it shows! Lovely and tasty. The salt and pepper ribs were of a good portion but not in a batter as I expected. Still tasty though and the meat fell off the bone. The prawn paper rolls were tiny and not value for money.Mains were all good: half a roast duck with good crispy skin, a bed of Chinese leaf and separate sauce. Sizzling seafood plate was tasty if small for the price. The garlic chicken was lovely and a good portion size of battered chicken fillets served with a thin garlic sauce and a spring onion and ginger garnish. Portions of rice were much bigger than expected which was a huge plus. For dessert, we all had toffee banana fritter, 3 small chunks of banana in a crunchy caramel coating sprinkled with sesame seeds which were very nice. An extra piece of banana would have been nice but the presentation of this and all the dishes, infact, was good.In terms of service, I thought all the staff were friendly and quietly polite. There was a small mix-up with one of our dishes but the manager kindly and quickly changed it with no fuss and kept us informed of its whereabouts.Aside from one or two small dishes, overall I really enjoyed my evening here. It seems to be a reliable restaurant with good flavours and tasty home-made dim sum! I took a look at their daytime dim sum menu and it looks good! I will definitely be back for more solid Chinese food and dim sum one day!

Came here for a birthday dinner and was our perfect Chinese as usual. Satay chicken, various spring rolls and dim sums were great, the hot&sour soup was nice but should have been hotter and more sour. Crispy duck to share for four was perfect (and double portions plum sauce and cucumber/spring onions). S&S chicken good for the less adventurous, and sizzling honey black pepper beef was spicy and super tender filet. Less than £100 for four hungry eaters.

I have had several meals at the Four Regions, and have enjoyed every single one. Located on Kew Road, the restaurant itself is beautifully done, with contemporary decor, comfortable leather chairs, and white tablecloths on the table. I agree with the reviewers who describe it as upmarket, and would add that it is the kind of restaurant you might go to for an intimate meal with friends or family, though I have certainly seen small groups of coworkers here as well. The food is wonderful. I thoroughly recommend the sesame prawn toast, which is nicely done, and the pan fried dumplings as starters. My partner and I always order the crispy Peking duck as a second course. The Four Regions cooks its duck to perfection, leaving the meat moist, the skin crisp. Of course, it is served with thin pancakes and hoisin sauce, which help round out this classic dish.I am rarely hungry by the third course, as the first two are so satisfying, but I occasionally order one of the Four Regions' chicken entrees, including the chicken with asparagus, or the green chicken curry. My mother-in-law and I often share an order of the broccoli in garlic sauce, which is very tasty as well. In fact, I do not think you can go wrong with most of the dishes on the menu!Service at the Four Regions is impeccable. The staff is very attentive and happy to oblige. Overall, I have found the experience at the Four Regions to be nothing but pleasant, and will happily return.
Be the first to ReplyBest chinese in South West London by far.
Damm good place to go with a big group or for a quiet dinner with your partner. This place is not cheap but you get what you pay for and here you get the best. Service is great and once you have been a few times the staff remember where you like to sit, what you like to eat and are over generous with the Saki.

If your looking for a great meal with resonable prices then the four regions is the place for you. The food is very appetising for those who love spicy food to those who prefer something a little milder.Particullary beautiful in the evening with such a magnificant atmosphere

The crispy duck is fantastic!!! The restaurant is excellent value for money. the staff is very attentive and nice
Be the first to ReplyDelicious, really great quality Chinese food.
The restaurant is quite upmarket and the prices rather high but these are justified by the quality of the food, great service and the crisp decoration of the restaurant. The feel is very classic and oriental. A large proportion of the guests at the restaurant were Chinese, which I took to be a fantastic reccomendation for the place.
