Fuku Omakase New York Reviews from The Last Year
Loved it! Fun experience.
Great sushi. Highly recommend to anyone. Difficult to beat under $100!
Freakin delicious.
Came for Valentine's Day and it was a really fun night. The chefs are part of the experience and cater to your needs. Great time all around. Came back to give this place some love.
Quick Stop For Chicken Sandwiches To Go
FYI, Fuku is inside of Hudson Yards on the 2nd floor. Make sure you take the right elevator or the escalator. Me & my wife were looking for food after leaving The Edge attraction on the rooftop of the building. We found the restaurants on the bottom floors, and I settled for Fuku. The place is small. Barely any seating space. The staff was nice though. I ordered the knockout chicken sandwich, and added on fries, with the jalapeno seasoning. The total came up to $21, which I though was pricey for a fast food-esque chicken sandwich & fries, but I guess I should chalk it up to NYC prices. Anyway, everything was good, and if I came back here, maybe I'd try something else on their menu.
The portions of fish here are large and beyond fresh.
You get every type of fish and all of my favorites: sweet shrimp, uni, toro and scallop! My favorite pieces, as always, are the sweet shrimp topped with uni, the salmon topped with foi gras and truffle and the toro with caviar! Fuku Omakase is guarantee for an amazing omakase dinner. The chefs are soooo nice and truly want to make sure all their customers have a wonderful experience. The counter is so small and cute and gives such a traditional omakase vibe. This is a MUST GO for under $100 omakase in NYC!!!!!
The food was phenomenal.
The staff was very friendly. The vibe and atmosphere was very relaxed all around. Great experience. Definitely will be returning next time. I'm in NY.
Fuku Omakase is a hidden gem.
It's a small restaurant that seats about 10. It's located very close to the West 4th subway stop in the West Village. The staff is friendly and they described each piece of sushi that was served. Everything was fresh and tasty. $75 for the 13 piece omakase. Some pieces had caviar and foie gras. My favorite was the Monkfish Liver, which was buttery and smooth (note: it's seasonal, so you may not get it). You can purchase additional pieces a la carte, as well. It's byob with no corking fees. Make a reservation beforehand and arrive on time!

It was okay! Got seated 15mins after our reservation time, and the fish was not very unique.
One of the coolest dining experiences I've had in NYC.
Walked in on a whim and had the place to myself for a while. Conversations with the staff were awesome. They take so much pride in their restaurant and also the local food scene in general. For the price you can't beat Fuku.

Loved it! This was a 13-piece omakase for $75 (total with tax and tip came out to about $95), but you're not getting skimped here. From all 3 types of tuna to wagyu, including surprise hitters like sablefish, you really are in for a treat. Each of the pieces were well thought through and they also have options to double the course or add some add-ons (we opted not to). Also loved the service that we got. We had a great conversation with our chef about each piece, where the ingredients were sourced, sushi etiquette, and more. He was very engaging throughout the entire meal and made sure we were very well taken care of. On top of it all, you're in a super trendy neighborhood that's a lot of fun just to walk through after dinner. Overall, this is a place I can see myself coming back to... a real winner!

The amberjack, sablefish, toro, salmon, eel, and wagyu were all particularly good. Some of those melted like butter in your mouth.
$75 for 13 courses + sake shots + dessert (if you're lucky).
I knocked off a few stars because of the food and the loudish ambiance. The temperature of the rice and fish were different so I couldn't help but compare my other experiences. Again, our chef talked through the entire experience and the music was loud so I didn't get to quietly enjoy the experience with my friend (but this could be just my preference) Walked in and the place smelled fishy because the space is tight and the fish were out. It was a cute spot and clean otherwise. Service was great but overall wasn't impressed. The fish was great for the price that we paid for! If you're lucky, try their chutoro! Also, they weirdly torch all of their fish. Only a few were served completely raw Would recommend for an affordable experience if you're in the area
Great nuggets!
Very good! It was my first time at Fuku, so I didn’t know what to expect. I got the eight piece chicken nuggets, and they were very good. They were the perfect size and shape, with a dash of spice. The small restaurant was pretty crowded, but the line went by fast. I highly recommend.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
