This Place is great.
I travel for work and stay at the Hilton/Park Cities where this Bar/Restaurant is located. I'm in town twice a month for a week at a time. The bartenders & Staff are exceptional. Mark and JD are always welcoming and take good care of me. This feels like my second home. The food is great, this place has my favorite fries in the world. They also started doing Prime Rib on Thursday's. It's a smoked prime rib, tender and juicy with a salad and side. Oh, I can't forget the warm rolls with whipped cinnamon butter. My favorite was the Duck Fat Whipped Potatos. The portion of Prime Rib is huge! For half the price of a Steakhouse Prime Rib, this dish will make your mouth water. Come grab a drink & stay for a bite to eat, you can't go wrong.
Be the first to ReplyGreat service and amazing prime rib on Thursdays.
It's become my new Thursday night routine. Mark will quickly learn your name and welcome you warmly. The atmosphere is personal and give you Texas vibes in a welcome environment.

I was at the Hilton Park Cities for 3 days and I ate here twice and once from room service. Awesome food! Incredible smashed burger with caramelized onions, cheddar cheese, bacon, roasted tomato aïoli, and tomatoes on a toasted, brioche bun. When they smash the patty, the edges get caramelized and crunchy. Tasted like applewood smoked bacon. I had it twice. Also had the shaved ribeye steak sandwich. It was great too. The battered fries are served with a spicy and sweet salt. Very interesting and good. The sugar is the last taste you feel on your lips. Tasted like homemade balsamic vinaigrette on the dinner salads, very good and served in a chilled bowl. Good service and ambiance. Several great experiences there.

3 stars for the convenience when you are staying st the hotel. Food is ok, nothing to write home. Few burger choices which they try to make presentable by adding arugula and other things line that. They dont ask how you want your meat as it is so thin the only way to cook it is dry. They have alcohol, which is why we got to the three stars (and as i pointed out : convenience).

Grain restaurant provided a reliable, abet overpriced weekday lunch. Granted, I expect a hotel restaurant to be overpriced, but I digress...I had the jerk chicken sandwich. It was fine. Nothing special. Extremely juicy and messy. I'm not sure what it was, maybe the spice(?), but at times, there was almost an earthy taste to it. I'm not sure if the veggies or washed well?...it wasn't awful--just not what I was expecting. The sandwich was a decent size and came with lots of fresh fries. Service was quick, and the server was kind and helpful. I wouldn't take the time to intentionally seek out this place, but it's good enough if you're staying at the Hilton and need a quick meal.

Have had lunch appointments at Grain a few time and always enjoyed it - great atmosphere, natural light from exterior windows, great food and service. Best tortilla soup in dfw, too - creamy with a little kick. Decided to bring my family for Mother's Day brunch and it was amazing. Best made to order omelettes and French toast we've ever had. They really do an amazing job. It's our spot now for those special Sunday brunch occasions...and my business lunches in the Park Cities area.

I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant in the Hilton Park Cities. I had a late dinner at the bar and thought the options on the menu all looked pretty good. I settled on blue crab mac and cheese and a garden salad. Everything was really tasty. The mac and cheese was hot and served in a cast iron pan and the salad with blue cheese dressing was the perfect complement. I had a glass of wine with my meal and enjoyed the overall experience. The staff was also really friendly and totally took care of me.
Be the first to ReplyThe food was expensive not a good quality.
..in fact, the food was awful. For example, my $18 brisket quesadilla was 'steak-um' inside a tortilla shell...I couldn't even finish it! My $16 huevos rancheros were 2 eggs over freezer bought taquitos. I can't believe a Hilton brand hotel would allow this on their property.
Be the first to ReplyHad the burger and fries with a margarita for lunch.
.. great meal. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the staff wasn't very friendly. I felt like I was bothering them when I asked for a refill and ketchup. Great decor and ambiance!
Be the first to ReplyThe place was hopping for a weeknight.
Mark the bartender took care of me in the bar area where I was seated at a table. I had a chicken quesadilla per his recommendation. It was a pretty full quesadilla- more Mexican than Mexican American style. The shell was cooked to perfection and not greasy. It was served with a mini skillet of salsa and guacamole. More salads to guacamole and the salsa was a bit spicy. I would come back here.

I am very surprised and disappointed to see how little reviews this place has considering how much it has to offer! This place is SO underrated. Perhaps they don't have many reviews since those that dine and drink here are travelers and not so much Yelpers. As both a traveler and Yelper I am happy to share my experience in a Yelpshell...Service: Eric, Kris and Mark provide excellent service. They are super friendly and hard working. I am basing this on personal interaction and witnessing their actions with other patrons. They are true Texans but speak languages of Americans nation wide which I found very charming. Ambiance: Very laid back and well lit. They have live music at least 3 nights a week. I came across one of the best live musicians here (<a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Fgogamusic.com&s=6acbff417ae5f072f08934bc65b28123627d7979e9393fdd8a4631c0c18eefa1" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">gogamusic.com</a>). Food: omg, amazing. Venison chili? How often and how many restaurants serve Venison, let alone a Venison chili. #lookawaybambi Their flatbread pizza is excellent. The plating and food presentation is high end. Location: very close to The cute shops in park cities and swanky restaurants (such as Hillstone). Blocks away from the beautiful mansions of Dallas that are sightsee worthy.

Be the first to ReplyAwesome restaurant! Nice decor and ambience.
Wanted to have a steak at Hillstone, but had to wait for 1 hour, so decided to go to Hilton instead. It was quiet which I prefer, plus nice sofas. Steak and potatoes were really tasty! Service is very attentive and superb. I mentioned it was my bday and our waiter Mark gave a nice chocolate cake on the house. Wonderful! Thank you :-)
