Fantastic Food and Staff.
It's by far the best vegetarian/vegan restaurant in Montreal! You can tell (and taste) that they go above and beyond to source high quality ingredients. The menu is super creative -- had the lasagne and loved it! Staff super kind, fun, and friendly. I couldn't recommend more!

We decided to have dinner there as we passed by several times but never really stopped . And what a blast we had ! Definitely had the best Nachos in my life, S/O to the chef(s) . Shiitake wings were in point too !

I ate here by chance. My wife met here with a friend and called me to join them. I was sincerely suprised by the burger. The best thing of it is that it doesn’t try to be a meat burger. It is a totally different taste and texture. It is amazingly good. My wife had the watermellon ceviche and hasn’t stopped talking about it for three days. It is definitively good

The food here was excellent. I had the Hello Burger (replace onion with mushrooms) which came with potato wedges and a green salad. I'm not sure what their house patty is made of, nor what kind of burger bun they use, but it was so good! The patty was thick and hearty, and the bun was probably buttered and toasted and tasted like brioche. I also had their mocha cheesecake for dessert which was delectable as well. Not too heavy like some vegan nut-based cheesecakes can be. The cake wasn't overly sweet and the coconut flakes sprinkled on top added a nice touch. The portion sizes at this restaurant are quite big, and the prices are reasonable (desserts are a bit pricey though, at 9$ for a slice of cheesecake). I would definitely recommend this restaurant for great vegan food.

The restaurant was busy at the Sunday brunch period. It was noisy at first but became a bit quieter by 1:45. We enjoyed the ginger flavoured cocktail and margarita which had a nice amount of alcohol. The comfort food red curry and pasta Alfredo dishes were tasty and plentiful.

Four of us went out for dinner after reading Bill Brownstein's Montreal Gazette review of the new resto, Hello 123, part of a franchise. The building has had a number of incarnations as restos, a comfortable and convenient location on Monkland Ave. in NDG. We were greeted by a pleasant hostess, and seated in a corner of the space that gave us a pleasant view of the operation. The space has been well designed with good furnishings, tables of white oak, comfy chairs and decent lighting. Exposed brick walls are complimented by attractive glass partitions in the entrance and surrounding the stairway to the basement washrooms. Our waiter, Jacob, was friendly, knowledgeable about the food and wine choices and was patient while we went over the menu to make our selection. We ordered three different burgers, all Hemp. One couple doubling up on the same choice, the Ezra Burger. My wife took the Kimchi burger and I had the Mexican. They were served with a small side salad on the plate, with tasty roasted potato wedges. We had bottles of white and red wines. We shared a taste of each and the vote for best went to my choice, The Mexican. It was well spiced, moist and very tasty, on a very good bun. The wine list is pretty good, but too high for my liking, the lowest price was about $45, but our selections were good. It was a pleasant experience, service was good and food tasty. The resto is not too noisy, but it was only about half full on a Sat. night with a 7:00PM reservation.

I visited this restaurant with my friend (December 5th) 2pm, and the service was horrible. Only one friendly waitress, to serve the entire restaurant. I ordered the burrito bowl... not the greatest meal I’ve ever had to the point that I ordered a second one Alfredo pasta hoping for a burst of taste. No one ounce of flavor no one ounce of salt, I took it to go. You can do no wrong with desserts but I sure did with a small portion 9$ priced blue berry cake. I just won’t be returning to this place that is all
Be the first to Replymy off menu dish great!
We started off with a soup that was too salty to eat (Dahl) but our server kindly switched it for a potato soup that hit the mark, though it too could have used less salt. My friends enjoyed their quinoa cauliflower mains but I am not a quinoa fan and most of the menu didn’t excite me. The Thai curried veg offered that night was delicious and would definitely have me back. Too bad it’s not on the menu! The chocolate desert was amazing but rich tasting. Glad we were sharing.

On a stroll along Monkland, we decided to give this resto a try for lunch. This was a delightful surprise. I had a kimchi burger, which came with salad and fries. The burger was packed with flavors and came with a lovely fresh flavored spicy sauce [and ketchup]. Salad and fries were really good. My friend ordered pancakes-which were also delicious. Unlike previous vegan resto experiences had brought mixed results, often thinking 'could have done this at home', especially those 'prefab burgers' , these were full flavored and left us both thinking: must come back. Service reflected the resto's hospitality, too often missing these days, and much appreciated when it is shown.
